I was in 6/13. They have nice pots and decor. I wasn't greeted or acknowledged while shopping around. The 2 associates were busy having a personal conversation. When I took my items up to pay (after shopping around about 20 mins) I was told the credit card machine was down and only accepting cash. I would have appreciated being told this prior, like usually when someone walks into a place and is greeted and can be told they are currently only accepting cash. So I had to leave the items since I didn't have cash on me. Please work on customer service. Thanks. read more

" i'm hoping that perhaps I get this for Christmas!" I highly recommend this nursery vs the one across the street (Laguna Nursery). I stopped at the worst "nursery" I have ever come across to purchase some beautiful wind chimes. After a horrific experience, we left and went to this nursery across the street (Laguna Coast Pottery). I not only recommended this nursery because of their product selection, but mostly because of service. We spent well more than we were looking to, and would do it over again because it is of value and principle. Choose this nursery over the other 1000 times over! LCP has a great section of pottery and statuary! It's a small place, but there's a lot of beautiful art here as all the pottery and statuary a good quality and they have all sorts of wonderful finds. The person who assisted me, probably the owner, was so nice and helpful and walked through the inside ans outside with me and helped me find the exact item of garden statuary for which I was looking when I visited. Their pottery is not very good and very overpriced. I found the exact items at other stores for half so I highly recommend shopping at another store. Just do a little research or you can overpay. We purchased a waterfall from them and thought it was nice but after 3 months of use, the motor gave out, the paint on it is chipping, and hard to assemble when you need to clean it. They try to sell us for 600 but it was the floor model so we were able to get it down to 450. But that is waaaaaay to over priced. Save your money and look at our stores outside laguna. read more

If you've ever walked into a pottery or landscaping store and walked out shaking your head minutes later from sticker shock, you'll be pleasantly surprised upon entering the front gate of Laguna Coast Pottery. Laguna Coast Pottery has it all and the staff are quite helpful (if not maybe a bit over the top friendly). The textures and variety are simply breathtaking. Called up to see if Laguna Coast Pottery had any bunny/rabbit statuary. Fortunately for me Austome Austin answered and went above and beyond to help me out. As they weren't too busy, he actually looked through their inventory and gave a brief description of what they had which helped me out since I was coming from Huntington Beach and didn't want to make a long drive for nothing. Ended up with a perfect statue for my girlfriend as her bunny passed away recently. His huge gift shop and pottery shop is amazing!!! When I come to Laguna I always stay in the downtown area and go south. However. I went to och turned right and within a few blocks I stumbled upon this true find!!!! Met Gary the owner and he couldn't have been more pleasant. First the prices of these outdoor and indoor gifts are incredibly inexpensive! And I promise if you go there looking for something original and lovely for a gift or for you, you will find it!!! And you will want to return because there is too much to see on your first trip. I've already planned to visit for several birthday presents. Parking is either on the PCH which is limited or off side streets next to the store. I'm sure it can be a challenge but it is so worth it. Kid you have to walk some blocks once you visit the place you won't care. Do yourself a favor and make this place a shop you will return to, again and again!!!! read more

Such a great selection! From material to style... modern, colorful, neutrals, all sizes, indoor, outdoor, printed/patterned! Literally any style you're looking for. I was looking for a large concrete look planter, tried several other pottery and nursery shops and couldn't find the size/style I needed. I found exactly what I was looking for and couldn't resist other items I really didn't need. Their pricing is very reasonable and their customer service is outstanding. Both people helping us were so friendly and helpful. I had threw out my back, they happily took my selections and laid them out in the back alley until I brought my car over and they happily loaded my items in the trunk for me. I stumbled upon this great pottery/nursery/garden store today. Their succulent arrangements caught my eye as I walked along PCH on my way to dinner. I only had a few minutes to browse around and since I wanted to purchase succulents, that was my main focus. They do have several beautiful statues, pots, and garden art. Their succulents are some of the most healthy succulents I've seen in a while. I found several varieties that I never seen before, and I am so glad I stopped to check this store out. If only I lived closer and didn't have to drive 500 miles home with a trunk full of suitcases, I would have definitely purchased a few mexican pots and mermaid statues. I didnt want to walk around with a bunch of succulents, so I had the gentleman working (maybe the owner?) set them aside for me. When I returned an hour and a half later, their gates were already closed, but they allowed me to shop some more. It was so nice of them to do that for me and didn't rush me one bit. I ended up going home with three very gorgeous and fairly rare succulents. A verigated Kalanchoe thyrsiflora 'flap jack,' verigated Echeveria agavoides 'Christmas' and echeveria Giant Blue Curls. I will definitely come back when I'm in the area again. read more

Absolutely loved the shop, I found great pottery and novelty planters I've never seen anywhere else. I also found a few adorable succulents I didn't already have, which is always awesome. The staff could have been a lot friendlier, I didn't feel as welcome as I like to feel when I'm spending money at a business... but maybe they were having an off day or something. read more
