Came here at 11pm on a Thursday night to try out their late night menu (all food is 50% off) and was pleased with the experience! Great place for a date night. There were surprisingly a lot of other patrons there, even so late in the evening. In my opinion, the pommes puree, brioche, and sticky toffee pudding were all stand outs. The burger was alright and so were the fries. Would be interested in coming back on a Sunday to try their smash burger. Unfortunately, the cote de bouef was a bit overcooked and undersalted, which wasn't too bad considering we got it half off but I would have been very disappointed if we spent a whopping $130 on it. Overall good experience but I had a better time with the sides than the actual entrees

One of the servers at Mercado recommended this place (for the spicy margarita, ironically) and I've been a fan ever since! To be honest, I've only ever tried the spicy marg (my favorite in all of Fort Wayne) and the scotch egg, and both will knock your socks off. The scotch egg is huge and comes with a creamy mustard sauce. The spicy margarita packs a punch and isn't for the faint of heart, but is included in the happy hour drink special they run from 4-5 on Saturdays!

The folks that own Penny Drip also created Dana's. It's the perfect addition to the Landing in downtown Fort Wayne. I visited with a friend and we made a reservation online. Upon arrival, we were promptly seated at a table in the back. There is a large bar, booths across from the bar, and tables in the back. We probably didn't need a reservation for the time and day of the week we showed up (Wednesday), but it did get busier later in the evening, so it ended up being a good idea. The cocktails here are incredible. I ordered a Lakeside Fizz and a Killer in Paradise. Between the two, I preferred the Lakeside Fizz. It was light and perfect on a sunny day. The straws in the cocktails were also stirrers. I just thought it was really neat and hadn't seen anything like that before. I also grabbed some tallow fries to snack on. My friend had the mushroom tart. I'm not a big mushroom person (I blame the 5 years of being a vegetarian and overdoing it on mushrooms then), but she said it was really tasty. For those looking for a more substantial meal there is also a burger and ratatouille on the menu. The brunch menu looks incredible and I'll have to come back for brunch. Our server was really helpful in picking out what we wanted to eat and drink, so asking for recommendations is a must.

From the moment you walk in, you feel like shhhmoney. The dim atmosphere, the exquisite cocktail list menu and food items (very European inspired) that you can tell the chef puts together in such delicately touch to taste and presentation to every single app /pictured: tall rosemary fries served w a trio sauces/ or entree /the lamb/and mushroom/ we've tried here has been hands down top notch. This is definitely FW finest! In addition to the restaurant, there's a high end bottle liquor store, that sells wine, liquor, and drafts that you can't find @ your average liquor store. When you get the bill, pay attention to because it's actually a postcard /pictured/ with their logo & such! Beautiful touch to a fine beautiful tavern- love this spot! Oh and Jackson our server was also an added bonus to D's! The only reason I knocked off a star unfortunately, was because they're happy hours says 4 to 5 and then 11 to 12 but I didn't realise that it was not for drinksand food both times. Kinda disappointed that the food was served so late was what was half off. If business is going great as I imagine then no reason to change it but if the business can boom a little bit more at 11 then I'd def recommend implementing both drinks & food half off because the signage is a little confusing other than that I recommend this place no doubt and can't wait to come back.

Let first say that Dana's is not for everyone. You will be disappointed if you are a value dinner looking for volumes of food. Dana's is not geared for children or large groups either. They are focused on craft drinks and small plates. You will be disappointed if you coming looking for a hearty menu of entree choices as well. Dana's is located in the old Columbia Street West building. They are only using a small part of the building for the restaurant. The east side is a small bottle shop that is apart of the ownership group. The back of the building was not purchased. You will find a very familiar feel here to the past. The bar and interior are similar. Beautiful wood, open ceilings and plaster walls. The train is gone in case you were wondering. The facility is very clean and comfortable. Overall the facility only seats about 32 people at table tops. Possibly another 12 or so at the bar. Therefore...you should plan on making a reservation if you want to visit. Because it is small...10 people is about the largest party you will be able to seat. The staff here was great. Ellie was an outstanding waitress. Very friendly and attentive. She was good with the menu and recommendations. We got to meet one of the owners, Preston, who was all smiles and very kind. He filled us in on the changes and how the business works. There was also plenty of table help on hand to take care of you. Craft drinks are one of their specialties. My wife had the Killer in Paradise. She loved the fresh taste and unique flavors. It has a bit of a spicy kick. I tried the Filthy Stickn Dirty. It had a "cheesy" creamy taste - different for a straight up martini. Both drinks came with unique ice cubes. The tall glass had a long rectangle cube that filled the glass. My martini was served in a tumbler with a large block of ice. The ice had a letter "D" carved in the top - very unique. Preston said that the ice cubes come from their side business. In contrast to the large drink menu...the food menu is very narrowly focused. Mostly small plate items with about two traditional entrees. Each small plate varies from $12-19 per dish. You can get a steak for $100+ or a chicken dish for $41. The waitress said that the menu will change depending on the season. However, expect it to be the same for a while since they just opened. The fried olives were very tasty - especially if you love salt! The green olives were deep fried in a crunchy-modestly thick batter. The batter didn't have much seasoning to taste and was slight greasy. The salt flavor really dominates the taste. It was served with a light anchovy sauce. This gave it a bit more of a salty taste without much hint of fish. A very nice dish. The fries were very good as well. They varied from long and crispy to short and crunchy. They were cut down that you had done meat to the fry but not a lot. They had a nice light chili seasoning. This came with three different dips. A chili, aioli and Dijon style dip. Each dip was very light and didn't have a strong taste to over power the fries. The last dish we tried was the burger. Note: they won't ask you how to cook your burger. Everything is medium rare unless you specify otherwise. The burger was cooked perfectly. The meat had a great taste...lean but enough flavor. The sesame seed bun was slightly toasted with a crunch and lightly buttered. The burger came with a smooth white cheese coating and lots of pickles a top. The burger was very good! Again...Dana's isn't for everyone and every occasion. Think small parties, social cocktails and light-small plate dinning. And a little pricey. With that..you will find a unique facility, with lots of great staff and a relaxing experience.

I may have had the perfect Sunday afternoon order yesterday at Dana's -- the Cucumber Absinthe Frappe and the Fried Bologna, which I split with my husband. My beverage was absolute perfection (I have learned to let it sit for about five minutes!) and the sandwich was delicious comfort food at its best! We sat outside and it couldn't have been lovelier!

Really love what they did with the space after C-Street closed down. It's weird seeing it as anything but that! The food was really good but there was one stand out dish....and that is the baked feta dip. I'm usually not a feta girl but that was too good. I also tried trout for the first time and I'm a big fan. It was full of flavor! I don't think you can go wrong anything you order at Dana's!

Love it! Fort Wayne has a bit of a reputation for rolling up the sidewalks early so having a kitchen open until midnight is cause for celebration all by itself. The food is good and portion sizes are perfect and leave room for drinks and even dessert. It was a little slow late at night mid-week but that meant that I got very attentive service. The kitchen was fast -- which I guess isn't too surprising since I ordered steak tartare. The Tallow'd Fashion was also very good. I look forward to coming back.

Love! I had the mushroom tart (made with phyllo dough and vegan Boursin cheese with a hint of toasted sesame) and it was the most deliciously unique dish I have had at a restaurant in a very long time. I also had the ratatouille which is no ordinary ratatouille - sliced thin on a mandolin and twirled in a beautiful colorful array of lightly seasoned goodness. The former C-Street has been given a downtown sophisticated adult Seattle feel of a higher end nostalgic restaurant. Wide selection of $$ craft cocktails. Service was doting and impeccable with someone assigned to keep water glasses freshly full. My expectations were wonderfully exceeded. What a great addition to the Landing! Amazing cocktails! I would definitely see if they have happy hour before you go because the prices can get steep! Regardless of price, one drink is enough in most cases at Dana's! The food is delicious, I recommend the fries if you need a little snack with your fancy beverage. The atmosphere is so relaxed with the dimmed lights and beautifully designed interior and the bar rail itself is lovely. Another great aspect is that it's downtown on the landing! I love the bartenders and staff as well, they are very down to earth and friendly.

That right there told me they don't mind being different in the style of food they serve! After checking over the menu full of wraps and burgers amongst a plethora of other bar food I ended up getting some wings to try and the house made chips. I got half my wings in the BBQ flavor and the other Buffalo. Being honest the wings weren't anything special but they did hit the spot and the BBQ sauce wasn't anything special to me on the wings but if it was used in some pulled pork or ribs I believe I would enjoy it more. The buffalo sauce was really good and had just enough heat to need the ranch here and there. The house made chips were good, not overly seasoned and not over cooked either. The place is small but has a handful of high top round tables and a few bigger square tables in the front with a decent bar strip with plenty of bottles and beers on tap. The pool table in the side room looked like a great area to hang around and play some pool while enjoying some beers with the company of friends. Next time I'm in town I will try one of their countless burger options!

Parking may be a challenge depending on the time of day. And the dinning area is small. Dash In has been a downtown Fort Wayne eatery option for many years. They are located on Calhoun Street next to Pint & Slice and a couple blocks south of the court house. This restaurant has retained the vintage building feel. The interior brick and wood work are very attractive to go along with the more modern decor. The bar is very attractive. They have a very small street level outside patio if that is your preference. The shop is very small. I'm guessing the bar seats about 10 people. The main dinning area probably seats about 40. The team here is very friendly and welcoming. They hustle to serve. We went on a late Sunday afternoon and didn't not have to wait. I don't think they take reservations. There are lots of people coming and going with carry out orders. Today we had no problem finding a street parking spot. There is a parking garage nearby if no street spots are available. The menu is actually fairly broad. They have a special brunch menu along with a breakfast all day menu. There were several sandwiches and wraps available. A couple salads too. The coffee and alcoholic drink menus were very large. We didn't have either of these products this time so I can't give you any feedback on them. They have a special soup du jour and deli side selection. Today it was a mushroom arugula soup and caprese salad side. My wife loves breakfast and ordered a make-to-order omelette with a side of grilled vegetables. She really liked the light tasting eggs and fresh tasting vegetables. The tomato bisque soup is one of their staples. It is delicious and would be great with a grilled cheese sandwich from the menu. The soup was smooth and creamy. It had a gentle tomato flavor along with a more predominant milk/cream base. The soup surprisingly has a stronger spicy after taste - still outstandingly delicious! The side salad is very simple. It has a combination of fresh spring mix lettuce along with a minimal amount of onion, cheese and red pepper. The honey mustard dressing was smooth, creamy, thick and a bit spicy. It was mild on the honey/sweet taste while stronger on the mustard accent. The Italian panini sandwich was very good. The ciabatta bread was slightly grilled with a firmer exterior but not crunchy. The bread had a very freshly baked taste. The sandwich had a high quality tasting ham, pepperoni, salami and provolone cheese. The meats weren't piled high...but enough to get the flavor from each. The grilled onions and banana peppers gave the sandwich a nice zing. The pleasant aioli sauce moistened the sandwich and blended the spicy meats with the zippy onions and banana peppers. Overall the food quality was excellent yet a bit more costly than you might expect. The service was spot on and helped make it a pleasant dinning experience. The older building design, if you like that, adds to the overall experience. Give them a try!

It definitely has that big city market feel, but I just don't know if it's gonna work for FW? It's a well decorated place with eclectic vibes and a few nice shops/vendors. The problem imo has been that the vendors turn over so fast and never seem to make it... Whether it's overly expensive rent, not enough foot traffic, or it being on the edge of the sketchy part of town, I suspect USM has an uphill battle to really "make it" - Sure hope the place succeeds because it's got a ton of potential. If visiting, recommend the lil Thai vendor or Johnny Ox Pizza... Two of the better places at USM.

This place is amazing. We visited on a Friday evening and tried to visit as many of the vendors as…read morewe could. First, we got kids meals at Buyamba Sandwich Company, located in the west hall portion of the market. Kids meals are either a turkey and cheese sandwich or a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, plus chips, fruit snacks and a Capri Sun. Pretty much everything that a child could want for a meal, and my kids were more than satisfied. Next, we got a couple of drinks at The Charlie Horse, one of the bars. They have Sun King beer on tap, but I think that was the only local beer. It's difficult for me to pass up Korean food when I see it, so I decided my meal would be bibimbap from Seoul Garden. I got my bibimbap with beef, a lot of gochujang with a fried egg on top. The vegetables were cooked but still crunchy, and everything was great. We also got a burrito from Pikoso, and that was great, too. I don't have much to say about it because I didn't get to taste it, but I was told it was tasty. Lastly, we got scoops of ice cream at Local Apple Cart, which is a little stand that makes its ice cream with locally grown fruit. I got a scoop of vanilla and the blueberry ice cream, which was super purple and vibrant. A couple of things to note: There's one pizza joint in here (Johnny Ox Pizzeria) and they only sell pizza by the slice during lunch, and full pizzas during dinner time. That was a bummer because we really wanted a slice, but we were foiled. The pizzas are huge, too. Most of the merchants in the east hall were closed, which was a bummer. These included the fresh food market, a seafood and meat market, and an Amish deli and bakery. I was kind of surprised that they weren't open on a busy Friday, but so it goes. When we visited, there was a trivia game going on, which was neat. There is so much seating in this food hall. We sat upstairs, where we could get a good view of the bustling happenings down below. There are tables, but also chairs and a few couches. The lighting is nice and mellow, too, but the noise can get overwhelming because the hall is very tall and the sound carries. Plus, there was music playing, so it was pretty loud in there. At the entrance, be sure to look around you -- you'll see some really cool murals on the walls.
