Stopped in for a late lunch today. Restaurant main dining room was busy but we chose to sit at one of the three tables in the entry foyer, as it has windows and tables that are nicely spaced. Ambiance of this area is casual and fun (see "tree" on wall). Our server was Corrine and she did an excellent job! Started w/soup: Hubby had chicken corn chowder and I had the brothy potato, green bean, and kielbasa (both soups pictured together). Both were great in flavor but were only just warm in temp, not hot as we would've preferred. The brothy kielbasa soup also needed a bit more seasoning. We didn't complain, as they were still tasty! Hubby got the wonderfully delicious and warm Pear, Brie, and Ham sandwich on a crusty loaf (pictured). One of the best ham sandwiches ever, he said. Highly recommends! Comes with chips . I got the special Late Summer Blue Crab Salad (pictured) which I was surprised to discover came with no salad greens, or not even, perhaps, toast points or crackers. I did ask for a side of arugula ($2) and the combo of fresh, summery crab salad and greens was delectable! This was a seasonal offering and today, I'm told, was its last day of availability. Great quality food, made from scratch with fresh ingredients. We came when the restaurant was about to close. We were greeted and immediately took our order. The flatbread dough was soft and tasty. The Italian sausage was just perfect! It reminded me of how tasty it is, as not many places have it in their menu. We enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and attention. Came here for the first time to try their savor Fort Wayne menu. Consisted of lobster roll, Boston cream pie and Johnny cakes for $23 or $30 for 2 lobster rolls pie and Johnny cakes. Which is what we chose. Place was awesome it was our first time. It's very clean inside with a small parking lot to park in. Right off of the road it's an old mechanic station. Very cool decorating and fixtures. It's not a huge place but they have lots of chairs and tables and bar stools. Bar has about 3 craft local beers on tap but a large selection of canned beer and wines. Menu is not huge but offers plenty of selections for everyone. Pricing is pretty standard great place for date night or guys/girls night out. They make what they can by scratch and locally source as much as they can as well. Food reflects that with its freshness and made to order. Winner the chef is created a great menu and makes sure it comes to the table hot and fresh. Staff is friendly and on top of refills, boxes, the check etc Need some swag? They have two areas that you can shop from. Bathrooms are spacious and gender friendly. They have a fair menu, and some healthy options, but the attention to detail with the food is poor, and the service is absolutely horrible. They only have one server for an entire restaurant (no busser, no host) so you get slow service and often have to get up to ask for things bc you've been waiting so long for them (such as paying a bill or silverware, napkins, water). After the last time we went for lunch and it took an hour and a half just to have salads with rotten ingredients in them, we had enough and won't return. When you walk in, because they have no staff, all tables and the floors are filthy with food. No one has time to greet you. Waters go empty and no one has time to fill them. I'd rather eat at home than witness this filth and stress. read more

The atmosphere was definitely unique and a place that we will return to...it's an old service station but is decorated with water sports decor...kayaks, paddle boards and adorable pics of dogs on each. read more

We love visiting this little restaurant with family. It has a cozy, small town feel to it and the servers are great. The food is also amazing! We have tried many of the options on the menu and you can't go wrong honestly. My only recommendation is that you give yourself time if you are dining in because it can take a little while if they are busy to get your food. Cute place. We went at an off time. Late lunch. Only one other table occupied. I got the Eddy's Melt and it was disappointing. It had some pieces of tough steak I couldn't chew and had to spit out. And was too heavy on the sauce, a bit overwhelming. Son really liked his steak and arugula flatbread. He said it was very good. We'd recommend Steady Eddy's. If you want a beverage, order when the waiter/tress finally shows up or you'll wait 15 minutes and have to ask for a menu... ** Our work around is to sit at the bar...to get proper service. ** Our average bill is $125 with tip, so get the wait staff corrected. read more

Fun place in Leo. Best soup And sandwiches! The chicken sandwich is my favorite. Wait staff friendly and helpful. Right on the river and has kayaks for rent. Very clean restaurant. Decorated with canoes and kayaks hanging on ceiling. High top tables very narrow and their plates are large so caused some difficulty fitting everything on the table. Get a low top! Beer and wine selection good. We go every week and never had anything to eat that wasn't delicious. They do need better lighting outside and entry way gravel so difficult for elderly! read more

Delicious food with good non-meat choices. I had the broccolini flatbread. Planned to only eat half, but ate every bite! One friend had the tomato and burrata flatbread and the other had the BLT with burrata; both loved their choices. Service was prompt and unobtrusive. I'm not sure what the bread was, but I could eat two loaves of it if I had it, ha ha! The avocados and tomatoes are so fresh, It just made the sandwich explode with flavor. The food is fresh, flavourful, and high quality - we had the house salad (perfect!), the panzanella (beautiful tomatoes and the mozzarella is light and creamy), and the whitefish sandwich (delicious).
