Dropped off my machine and got a call with an estimate of how much it would cost to service it and how they would service it. I gave them the go ahead and it was ready to be picked up the next day. My machine runs so smoothly and perfectly now. I love it! I definitely would recommend them for machine servicing. It looks like they also have an area for quilting and classes. I thought it to be odd to not see the product to give an accurate estimate. I sent photos and rough measurements. I never received an acknowledgement of my message. I waited it a few days and reached out. Days later I received a response my message was received. I waited quite a few more days and reached out again to see how the estimate was going. No response. A few more days had passed and I tried again. She said she would have it the next day. Two days later a random estimate arrived with no correspondence to accompany it. The bid was extremely high. Never a follow up from the owner. The reviews are good and she came highly recommended. Terrible customer service.

Told them how important it was to have them within a month. They understood the assignment and came through with perfection and amazing craftsmanship. Unfortunately, the overall experience with We Are Fabrics was disappointing because of the timeline and communication. When I first went in to select my fabric, I explained that I was hoping to have the project completed as quickly as possible. Since it was a custom job requiring the upholsterers to come to my home for measurements, I specifically asked about scheduling. I was told the project would probably take about six weeks. Instead, it took approximately 12 weeks from the time I placed my order and paid my deposit until I received my cushions. As the weeks went by, I had to call several times for updates. That's when I was told the upholsterers were extremely busy and backed up. I completely understand that delays happen, but I wish that had been communicated when I first started the project. Had I known the upholstery department was already booked out, I would have had realistic expectations and been much less frustrated by the delays. If you're considering We Are Fabrics, I think you can expect excellent craftsmanship. Just be sure to ask for a realistic timeline before starting your project.

However, if you cannot locate a member of the staff for guidance, you maybe on your own. It would be helpful for a Store Directory to help you on your treasure hunt for your needed supplies. There is a large parking lot that can get congested. Watch for pedestrians that dart out into the crosswalk with too much confidence that all cars will stop and not look both ways before crossing. That is what contributes to the congestion. Checkout stations are well organized. Watch out for the racks of items designed for you to activate your impulse buying mode. Look ahead!!!

If you want to take your ceramic home the same day, you can use acrylic paint, if you don't mind waiting you can choose to glaze it and there is a $5 firing fee. We chose to do glaze and wait a 1-2 weeks and they texted us when it was ready. (Only took a week) In terms of inventory, they have cute Knick knack ceramics you can make or kitchenware like plates, bowls, coasters, etc. I also saw people painting canvases so you really do have a lot of options if you're looking for a fun craft day. Pro tip: do multiple layers if you're gonna do glaze. I'd recommend at least 3, but 4 or 5 if you have the time.
