It is not a sit down restaurant, but more of a quick service stand that features some of the best barbecue on the island. They allow you to go and sit on the porch of the bed and breakfast near by to enjoy your meal and people watch. They are open for lunch, from 11 to 3 daily as long as the weather holds up. I ordered the beef brisket topped with their house made barbecue sauce and it was one of the best beef briskets I have ever had. The cole slaw was really good also. It is a southern style slaw that is creamy and sweet. Topped with a ice cold drink and I was set for the day. The next time you are Mackinac Island, make plans to find this place. Eating there is well worth the trip!
