We were looking for an RV Park near Acoma Sky City and decided to stop at the Dancing Eagle Casino & RV Park. Full hookups at $19 a night was a big drew. A gravel lot with both pull thru and back-in spaces and a fenced pet area is all there is. You are near the Interstate but far enough away that the highway noise was not a problem. We decided to do dinner at the Restaurant in the Casino. The food was wonderful and the portions were extremely generous. Also immediately adjacent to the RV Park is is a hardware grocery store with almost everything you may want or need. read more

Very open and clean. Right off the highway attached to the Casino. Stopped off because kids were getting hungry and it had good friends. Service was friendly. I am really disappointed in the food. The kids burger, while a good portion, was very dry. The Nachos were so salty we could not eat them. I was definitely disappointed. Seems to be very clean. I must say for being out in nowhere land very clean. I was sat very quickly and my server came over almost immediately. Not a lot of customers so I hope the food is good. I stopped to get out of the rain. There is an old time soda shop but it is not open when I asked the waitress she said it is really never open anymore They do allow for take out and eat in. That is a plus I can't stop thinking of how clean this place is!! So I'm not looking for spectacular so it met that. Ordered the chicken fried steak. Little overcooked do it was hard and chewy. The gravy is not home made but it was ok. Suggest with the boiled corn throw on the grill really quick I also got the chips and salsa, chips must be from a bag as some are stale and salsa is nothing to write home about. Very disappointed. This place use to be much better many years ago. The service is hit and miss. Many times they leave the plates and baskets sitting up on the counter way too long. So by the time they bring it to you it's not as hot as it should be. This happened again right now with my tuna melt and fries. I actually saw my basket sitting on the counter for over five minutes along with four other plates/baskets. And there was two servers standing right in front of the counter. Halfway through eating, my sandwich and fries were cold. I didn't see a manager around to address this with. I would not recommend eating here. read more

Don't understand the negative reviews. Today was amazing. My wife and I are using the Rv park at the casino for the night and decided to try the famous hamburgers. Did not disappoint. Went in not expecting much. The staff was working so hard to get everyone their orders. The burgers were half pounders with all the trimmings. Lots of sides to choose from. We had nice crispy sweet potato frys. BTW the dining area and all of the casino was shinny clean. We will for sure come again if we travel I 40 again read more

Hands down the best place to eat out in Laguna/Acoma. The breakfasts are awesome and flavorful. We stayed at Sky City for a week and came to the Dancing Eagle Diner three times for breakfast and once, stopped in twice in one day to try out the lunch too. This is also the only place between Grants and Route 66 Casino where you can get beer or wine with your food since everywhere else is dry. First off the portions are ridiculously huge. The kids chocolate pancakes were trucker size. There were three plate size fluffy pancakes topped with chocolate syrup, crushed Oreos and whipped cream. It was way more than any human, let alone kid, could or should eat. The Southwest Benedict is amazing. It's a plate sized fry bread topped with skillet potatoes, delicious chorizo, green chilies (of course) and eggs however you want them. It's a huge portion so sharing is ideal. The Asada Skillet is super flavorful and a good second option. You really can't go wrong with the breakfasts. My husband tried the Shake Rattle and Roll shake and it was amazing. I can't wait to come back next time I'm in town. read more

Dropped by this place on our route66 trip and this was the worse food we have tasted during our 65 days journey. Ordered medium rare steak with baked potato and lamb stew. The lamb stew is incredibly salty with fatty tissues on few piece of bones, the fried bread supposed to be soft and crunchy, not these... hard and tasted day old. And then the steak, overcook at first, sent back to kitchen, came back rare with blood and cold meat inside. What so hard about medium? 4 minutes each side, or until 140degF inside, rest, then serve! Couldn't eat much of it just nibble on bland boiled corn and a bit of baked potato for late lunch. And the service, took 15 minutes to be seated, 20 minutes for food to arrived after ordered, then you got lousy and expensive food! read more

For starters, the food was great. My husband had the El Fuego burger which was spicy as all-get-out, but delish. I had the Yucatan tacos with some of the best lemomade I've ever had. All great. Best part? The loaded Idohan chips with cheese, salsa, sour cream and bacon. Yummy! What was really lacking was the speed and quality of service. We stood waiting for about 15 minutes while the hostess chatted it up with her co-worker. Then, our waitress was awful. She had to come back and take our order twice because she 'forgot', forgot our drink order and never checked back in on us. Good food for a smoky, crappy casino, but do what we did....get the food to go after waiting 25 minutes and forgo the rude service. read more

I went to "Dancing Eagle Casino" in Casa Blanca, NM in Sept. 2011. It was my first time there. Like most small casinos "Dancing Eagle" wants to make money from the gaming and gives you good food to stay. I had the buffet which had a nice selection of items for a very reasonable price --- not like Las Vegas (where I paid about twice as much). read more

This place shocked us. Decor is bright and very nice. Food quality was excellent and the quantity was off the hook. My wife had a MASSIVE Cobb Salad and I had the best Checken Fried Steak I have ever had. Real mashed potatoes and a great sauteed veggie side. They also have a very nice soda fountain next to the restaurant. WAY better than your average diner. read more

A few years ago, my family and I ate at this place and loved it. Today we stopped by for some breakfast, but found that the quality had declined. Of the six in our party, none of us were happy. First off, our waitress was rude-she acted irritated when we asked for extra silverware (after sitting for quite a while without) and she practically threw it on the table, along with the tobasco sauce. We had to ask every single time if we wanted more of our drinks, and my sister got bottomless French toast but only got one good batch of three. The first time, it was burnt. Second time was ok. Third time, it was undercooked. Two at our table got hair in their food-one human, and one that seemed almost rodent-like. The burritos tasted below average, and the presentation made us lose our appetite. The servers were not courteous, and refused to apologize or give us a discount for their horrid, distasteful food and service. All in all, while the place may have been good in the past, their quality has declined greatly over the years. On January 6, 2013, we (my sister and I) decided to try Dancing Eagle Casino Retaurant's breakfast so we stopped there at approximately 7:45AM. At first the restaurant appeared to be closed because it was dark inside from the truck. Once we found it was opened we walked in but the waitress was very unfriendly. I smiled and said, "Good morning", but she just looked at me with an expression to say that What are you doing here? There was no greeting from her. A smiling welcome would have earned two guests to eat there and try their breakfast. We turned around and went to Sky City Casino where we were welcome the minute we walked in the casino. We had a very good breakfast there and played some before we headed to Albuquerque. Please have your employees trained in good customer services. Thank you. read more
