Came here on a date because had heard great things about this lounge. The space is laid back w/couches scattered throughout indoors and there were a couple of tables outside. We sat for a while chatting at one of the couches until my date realized no one had been by, so he figured he'd go to the counter. There wasn't a drink menu visible or offered, just a case w/some offerings. There wasn't a lot of options, at least visibly, but I was intrigued that they actually had coconut water from an ornamental coconut as an option! We later saw them bring what looked like hot tea or coffee to a table and would have liked that, but again, not offered or listed anywhere as an option. We also didn't see a food menu nor were we offered one or told they had one. But, again, saw them bringing food to the other tables. We just got the coconut water and a btl of something, but were not given the drinks when we left the counter? I thought that was weird. I guess he had to take off the top of the coconut? They have nice hookahs and we got the watermelon shisha, which was good, but the flavor died out rather quickly. They start off w/3 coals, but we ended up taking one off because it started burning too hot when pulling. It took awhile for the hookah to come out and it came out before our drinks did. Again, weird. I don't know how much it cost as my date paid for everything, but he said he wouldn't be back and he lives in the area. The best hookah place in SoFlo! Absolutely awesome time! Came here with my bff to try it on a late Friday night after I found this place through Yelp, and I loved it! Mind you I have been to plenty of hookah/shisha places all around Palm Beach and Broward, and this is by far the best! We ordered the double apple hookah and we didnt particularly like the flavor so we askes our waitress to exchange it for citrus mint and she was very happy to do so and make sure we enjoyes our hookah. They quickly brought us our new hookah and 2 people checked back with us to make sure we liked it. Which we did, it was great! Very fruity and minty. The hookah lasted throughout the whole night as they were constantly coming around to clean and replace coals. The service was perfect! Best I have recieved at an arab place. A lot of employees came around, those besides out waitress, to ask if we needed anything and to see how we were doing. Everytime our waitress would come around she would smile and she was very kind. You could definitely feel the teamwork that went in to making sure they delivered the best service. I also noticed people were ordering fruit which looked delicious and very fresh, I have to order some next time. The best part about this place was the atmosphere. The place was packed! And everyone was smoking hookah and playing cards and other games. You could also tell that the staff had developed a relationship with many of the customers. Later on in the night their was some debki dancing among the employees and customers. My only complaint is lack of a wide variety of snack/food options and also choice and source of music. Im waiting for them to change up the music a little, seems to be the same songs everytime I come in. I definitely had a really great time here, everyone was just so kind. I came in here to smoke hookah with some friends. The server approached us and asked us if we'd like to order a hookah. We asked for a menu but this place doesn't have a menu but the server insisted that they have every flavor. So we ordered a hookah and they didn't have that flavor lol. So we just took whatever they had. It took them 45 mins to give us the hookah, and they brought out hookahs first to people who came in after us. we honestly wanted to just leave but the one server who worked there was no where to be found. We finally got our hookah and honestly we weren't impressed. The flavor kept dying down. A man came wirh Ferrari sneakers to change the coal and was giving us dirty looks and ignoring us when we spoke to him. All the men in this place were staring at us and us girls felt so uncomfortable. I will not be returning, there are better hookah places in the area with better customer service. read more

Firstly, it's NOT the hookah at all, depending on who fixes it, it'll either be perfect or trash. The service is absolutely trash. This is not a review after 1 visit either. My husband and I frequented this place well into about 6 months. They are just about the only place in Broward County that does happen to open early during the day, which is why we actually kept considering coming back. However, once you've learned better you do better. I would like to acknowledge ONE employee, not sure of his name, but a younger gentleman who seems to be the only person actually knows the job & how to service patrons, especially frequent patrons. All others (including the owner) show zero hospitality. If you're not of the Middle Eastern culture, you can forget service or being acknowledged. You have to literally keep asking for the very same service that you see others receiving around you. Showing disdain will only make the little service you do receive even more trash. Visible attitudes and/or avoidance all because you have to ask for coals, drinks, food, or anything else a patron should be asked instead of asking. I urge African Americans to be mindful of this establishment. Our dollars are definitely NOT valued here at all. Look elsewhere! Go elsewhere! read more

The FOOD actually saves this place from getting 1 to ZERO star from me. I was a regular here before so I can say this THE SERVICE WAS AMZING UNTIL I CAME BACK HERE FIRST TIME IN MONTHS. Besides from the hookahs, which I think it's very decent for Sunrise area, their food, especially the burger, is what makes me come back here. My boyfriend and I came in late at night. I get it! It's late. However, it does mean we got ignored, not even a hello from any of the servers. They didn't offer us even water. Nobody came check on us once. You open until 2am. So anytime before that you still have job to do. Not chitchatting, not smoking hookah, not playing game with your customers. I do hope they go back to their usual routine . Me and my fiancé were spending the weekend not to far from this gem. I do not do hookah at all and I figured we should try something new. Starting off this place was so warm and inviting to me. The server was so nice and wanted us to have a nice time. Next thing we know he is tending to every table but ours! We finally got his attention to order some food. And I wanted this sandwich that was pictured on the menu and the server said it's just decoration. They don't really sell that there. I was kinda annoyed but that's fine. I asked to order a regular turkey sandwich and he kept saying hamburger meat. It was really weird. I ordered ginger tea and he completely forgot about it. I had to ask another server to get it for me. When We were ready for the check to pay and go home my fiancé had to ask another server to take the check back after being ignored by our server. Okay, so here's an updated review. This hookah bar is now under new management and has increased 10×! The service is way better. They have designated people for coal management and are always helpful and friendly addressing any issues. It has a much more diverse crowd, younger and older and a lot of space with comfy seating. And the hookahs! They smoke perfectly. I had problems with them before but the last 3 times I've been, they are great. Also, they've added more food to the menu and do now have a list of flavors divided by brand. Lots of flat screen TVs with sports playing. There seems to be quite a few hookah bars in the immediate vicinity of Dandana, but this place stands out for sure. The hookah selection is quite good. A few different selections. I always go for mint. I also love that they have mint tea. And the dessert offerings are pretty good too. However, I wish they served more food. Also, the music is not so good. It's a bit TOO traditional. I'd like to hear some more modern Arabic music. The vibe is super chill, the service is good and the prices are very fair. I'll definitely be going back. read more

Finally a Hookah lounge that is worth the drive! Come here with friends pretty regularly, it's cheap, good service and a great way to kill a few hours (especially with a Domino set). When you walk in, the music is traditional Middle Eastern music which is just high enough to not be obnoxious. The atmosphere is warm and inviting with slightly dimmed lights, and the icing on the cake, at least 75% of the guests were middle eastern, in my opinion the place MUST be good if this is the case! The hookah is truly unique, the bowl which holds the coal and shisha are not your typical porcelain bowls but a grapefruit! It adds a flavor and lasts forever! I'm partial to Mint, I keep it simple when it comes to my hookah. The food is good too, I like their shwarma chicken sandwich, very tasty and filling. But my favorite, especially in a cold day is their cappuccino, so good! My wife loves their Mint Tea, which I have to say for not being much of a Tea drinker, I've ordered it a few times myself with a side of honey. Been coming here for almost a year now, the place has changed management, but in my opinion for the better. Came here for the first time to catch up with a friend who suggested we go there. We hadn't eaten so we ordered burgers, hookah and mint tea. Our server I believe his name was Akmad was so sweet and attentive. He was awesome. We loved the place so much we didn't realize we were there for almost 5 hours. The vibe is positive and chill. 5 stars, why? Let me explain. I only dabble a little bit into the hookah game and only come here with friends who are into it more, the environment is great and staff are super friendly. They are willing to help you with anything you might need. But I haven't event gotten to the best part. The French fries. Do yourself a favor and get these to compliment your stay, the fries are crunchy, full of flavor and they come with an assortment of sauces. FLAVOR town is where you are headed if you get these. Absolutely enjoyed my experience here. The staff were extremely attentive, funny, and helpful. The vibe is as if Starbucks went Mediterranean and sold hookahs, but in a much larger space. It's very clean, and doesn't feel as congested as most hookah lounges. Not to mention The FOOD was delicious and fresh. I visited this hookah cafe with my best friend. The atmosphere was terrific! Great Arab music, friendly customers, and friendly staff. We originally tried the double Apple hookah and didn't like it, so we asked to have it replaced with citrus mint. The staff was extremely friendly and cooperative and made sure we were happy with our choice. The staff brought out a cake for someone's birthday and everyone joined in to clap and sing. There was even some dancing with both the staff and the customers. My friend said this was the best hookah cafe she's visited in the Ft Lauderdale area.
