Dropped in for a drink and an appetizer last weekend. The atmosphere is that of an upscale bar with lots of cushy seating and dimly lit vibes. My cocktail and edamame appetizer were delicious, the edamame salted to perfection. I struck up a conversation with the bartender who is also the owner, she was very nice and inspirational. That drink was still sweet when I told her I couldn't drink it and that it gave me a stomachache she just said ok. And gave me my receipt for it. $22 for a drink is crazy. Posh just isn't what it used to be a few years ago! I came here for drinks and hookah following dinner with my friends. I ordered the Eye of the Dragon lychee martini with Hendricks gin instead of vodka. While I thought it was really good and sweet, 2 drinks and $50 later, I was expecting to feel a little something; especially considering these weren't my first drinks of the evening. I also ordered the Paradise cocktail but it wasn't good. I ended up sending it back. We also ordered the blueberry and mint hookah. It took them over 20 minutes to bring the hookah out; and the shisha was burning to the point that it had a funny smell. The service is what breaks this place. I use to come here often until the service plummeted. I was craving sushi and decided to stop by and see how it is these days. There was a lady and guy working the floor and I was unfortunately in the section of the careless guy. He was extremely unwelcoming to the point where I didn't want to order anything else to avoid adding more gratuity to my bill. His service was that bad to the point where I decided to eat an entire meal without a drink. I was charged for things without being informed and when I asked all he could say was " I thought it was a substitution but it's not and I had to charge you so I guess I'm sorry." I would've kept it as is if I was given the CORRECT information or informed when he was told to charge me extra. He was not sorry and truly did not care because gratuity is already included. Covered in spicy mayo and also had 2 drinks regular margarita and a mango margaritas. I came to this place with friends who had been before and they recommended it for good sushi...that part did not disappoint. We ordered an assortment of rolls and one of my friends tried the flaming Posh which definitely was a spectacle! Two of my friends ordered a hookah in blueberry mint I believe and they liked the flavor. The downsides to the place were the attentiveness of the server. He was very charismatic at first then disappeared through the evening. In his defense, I didn't see any other servers really so maybe they should work in staffing because it was almost impossible to get anything we needed after ordering (drink refills, eel sauce, etc). Lastly, when the bill came, one of my friends noticed she was charged more for a roll than the price listed on the menu. She pointed it out to the server who then told her the price recently went up for that roll and that "they weren't gonna print new menus just for one change" He chose not to honor the price listed on the menu and then proceeded to point to this very fine print at the bottom that reads something like "prices may vary". My husband threw me a birthday party at Posh Lounge this past weekend. I don't think I have ever been as catered to in my life as I was by the owners Van and John. They were so easy to work with, helped us figure out how much food we needed, bought and put up all the decorations (which were done beautifully).... and then the food. TLDR: The food is delicious, the ambiance needs work. We got the sushi that arrives in tin foil and they flame it up, definitely super impressive and was absolutely DELICIOUS. We will definitely return for the food. The ambiance is lackluster, the seats are that of a night club (really uncomfortable to eat in) and the smell of hookah is intense. If you're not smoking hookah or don't like the smell of hookah (like me) it really ruins your experience and I couldn't wait to leave. I flew into Fort Lauderdale to celebrate my birthday with my niece, who wasn't able to dine with me. I ordered the beef fried Gyoza, which was delicious, the manager was nice and made great drinks. The music was okay. I hung around to see the band, which was a disappointment. Six drinks later, I ordered the dragon rolls, which were delicious. Unfortunately, the night ended on a sour note when I received my bill for $174 and there was a $10 charge that could not be explained. The bartender said it was an alcohol charge, which made no sense, I was charged $16 for each drink. I felt like I was being taken advantage of, and because I was by myself and it was late, I chose to pay the bill and left no tip. Needless to say, I will never return. read more

I had a great time at posh tonight. It was a friend's 40th birthday and they did it pretty big! The service was great! Van was so pleasant the entire night and took care of our every need. The sushi was AMAZING!!! We had a few orders of appetizers (edamame, dumplings... ), a giant sushi boat and a few orders of these flaming rolls. OMG!! My mouth is watering just thinking about the tenderness of the sushi and the perfect char on those flaming rolls! I don't know exactly what fish was in the flaming rolls but OMG OMG!! PHENOMENAL! The perfect balance of sweet and spicy and smokey all in one bite. Overall, I am more than certain that the guest of honor and his wife and all of us were more than appreciative of the great care that they took to cater to our large group that night. I think we took up most of the lounge. It was so worth it because it was such a great time. Kudos to Posh Lounge! Looking forward to the upcoming renovations that they're going to make. We've been going to this place since before we even moved to Fll! It's a small lounge kinda hidden but the food (especially their flaming sushi - aka your sushi is lit on fire in front of your eyes) is really good. Whatever sauce/glaze they make is absolute crack (addicting). We've gone probably over 10x so far and the staff is really nice and friendly but for such a small lounge it gets super packed and busy and they always only have one bartender who is also the server for the whole lounge so it takes a really long time to be helped every single time. The sushi also takes a really long time to come out even if you're like the only person there. They have an extensive drink/sushi menu and all of their cocktails that I've tried so far are really good. On the weekends they play really good music and they also serve hookah daily. There's indoor and outdoor seating but we've only seen people sit outside maybe twice. It looks cute outdoors especially if you smoke hookah and want to get fresh air but we were told that lots of mosquitoes linger out there. Nonetheless, it's one of our regular spots but we just have to be mindful to not go when we're starving cause we'll die before we get any food in our system. read more

Every few years I try to give Posh another chance because it's conveniently-located & is open later than other restaurants, but it always manages to disappoint again and again. I ordered 2 sushi rolls, and the bill came to $43 for a subpar yellowtail roll and a subpar "red velvet" spicy tuna roll. Normally when you're paying about $20 for a sushi roll, it's larger and has more going on than just 8 small pieces garnished with spicy mayo. I also waited for 25 min even though the sushi chef was just standing there and had no other food orders. Then trying to get the 1 server to pay my check took forever. read more

It was evident that they didn't have enough waiters for the amount of people in there. I'm so torn on how to rate this place. I can't choose a rating without first explaining why I'm giving such a low rating but a high review. I'm all about the overall experience at a restaurant or establishment so sometimes my rating doesn't reflect my review. This review in particular is a great example of what I mean. We (3) were greeted and were offered a seat on a love seat which was too small but there were no other seats available so we took it anyway. No menus, just the seat. We eventually got menus. We eventually ordered. But we waited almost 1.5 hours to get our food, we got 2 rolls and 1 order of gyōza. I couldn't believe how long it took. We witnessed people walk out after not receiving any service or acknowledgement. We heard a few people complaining while others were having the time of their life lol. I even heard the waitress snap at a customer who questioned how long the food was taking, she stated that it was a Friday night and there are alot of people here so there is going to be a wait. *awkward* lol. The DJ was playing good music, a nice mix of everything so that helped to pass the time. We basically people watched until our food arrived. We got the Posh Roll and Miami roll I think I can't remember. Wow, phenomenal, both rolls were so unique in flavor and presentation. The Posh Roll a Must Try!!
