My friends and I stopped by Shisha after Sunday brunch, and overall it was a solid Sunday Funday spot. The décor is really nice--you can tell a lot of thought and effort went into the space, which immediately sets the vibe. We got there during happy hour, so the drink and hookah deals were a plus. The hookah was actually very smooth and lasted our entire time there, which is always appreciated. Drink-wise, the lychee martini was not good at all, unfortunately. The rum punch was decent, but nothing memorable. The DJ was definitely the highlight and kept the energy up the whole time. While the drinks could be better, the atmosphere, music, and hookah make this a decent spot to check out if you're looking for a laid-back but fun Sunday hangout in Fort Lauderdale. read more

Visited here on February 1st for a friend's birthday. We arrived for the happy hour. The vibes were nice. The hookah was good and was a decent price. I ordered some chicken wings that came with fries. The chicken was hot, fresh and fried just right. The server at first was a little rude but I think she got better through our time there. The music was great but let's get to the real issue 3 drinks 90$ plus the "service charge" The server was rude and inattentive We got our drinks I paid the $90 bc you have to close out every time. I had a time at Shisha. It was my first time visiting the place. The drinks were amazing I had a Margarita. I was celebrating my birthday and ended up getting free shots. The hookah there as well were very smooth. The service was amazing as well as the ambience was beautifully lit with green lighting. Definitely a vibe. There was also a two hour hold on sections for seating so just be mindful to get there in time to enjoy the moment. read more

Decided to try this place after reading Google reviews and quickly found that those reviews can't be trusted.. This place is literally a hole in the wall. It is extremely small. I literally was there less than 5 min and had to leave. Their drink menu is super limited, not much to choose from, but seems pretty cheap. There's no food! Only chicken wings on the menu, that's it. They did have a DJ not sure what all he played but upon walking in it was "Broward" music and not my scene. Second instance/ negative interaction with the faculty and staff at Shisha lounge As I stated before in my prior review, I have been going to Shisha for a couple of months and I have been receiving moderately OK service. I stated that the service was moderate because there are certain areas within their facility that look absolutely disgusting, management has utilized chains and a rope contraption to hang their speakers up within the facility. They have also stacked boxes and other resources behind the bar which is visible to the customers coming in, and there are also holes within the ceiling that are the size of softballs. But because it was a black owned business that was trying to become a franchise within the Florida area I continue to support them. I recently visited the Oakland site in which one of my male friends was already sitting within the facility. As I was walking up to Shisha lounge, the male security guard shouted across the parking lot "y'all on that type of time" I was accompanied by one of my friends, and she was showing me an Instagram post in which we were laughing about the post. I then responded to the male security guard by saying yes, I assumed he was asking us that from across the parking lot because he knew our friend was coming out to greet us or we just seemed very excited to walk into the actual facility. We then arrive to the front of the building in which the same security guard states to us that he wasn't going to allow us to go into the lounge and he proceeded to let two women standing in line into the actual facility. He never then communicated why he was so upset, and my party had never interacted with him before, so we had no clue where the animosity was coming from. My male friend then proceeded to come outside to greet us in which the security told him that he only reserved one seat so he could not let us into shisha lounge. This caused an escalation into an all out argument with the male security because my male friend wrote his reservation on their clipboard and specified that he was requesting three seats at the bar. So; my party and I proceeded to request that management intervene on our behalf, both managers at the time, pulled the male security into the Shisha lounge and allowed him to explain what had transpired outside and why he was not going to allow us into shisha lounge. I noticed that one of the managers came back out with a clipboard and stated that because we were arguing with the male security about the issue. We were no longer able to enter into the actual facility. I then went on to tell management that we hadn't even had any communication with the male security, and we didn't know his reason for why he was upset or why he wasn't allowing us into Shisha lounge , my male friend at the time stated that he reserved for a party of three but management told him it was OK to come into the facility because there was one seat open at the bar, but because of the disagreement with the male security; management no longer wanted to hear our reasoning and we were no longer given an access to utilize our reservation. What gets me frustrated with this incident is not the argumentative approach/response, is not the miscommunication in regards to the reservation, but it's the fact that the security guard was sticking his tongue out at us and laughing because he felt like he could again abuse, his power and his authority to decipher who he allows within the facility and without reasoning. read more

Place was supposedly a 2 hour wait . I arrived at 4:30 and was told to come back at 6:45 since the people would be kicked out at 7.. never happened ! Entered at 7:15 . Didn't get food until 8, hookah at 8:40 , food at 8:50.. then was told we would still have to leave at 9... how is our two hour activated if we didn't get serviced until 8p??? Food was late because they went down the street to pick it up ... drinks didn't even come out at same time. Someone's drink came out at 8 and everyone else's came at 30 minutes later .. manager and bartender argued with us to get out . Very rude and will never go back!! All I can say is wow. This is my 3rd and last time trying to attend this lounge. Don't do it. I watched the guy at the door tell me that the lounge is full only to walk to my car two minutes later and see him let 6 people in. I was perplexed why lie that you are at capacity if not. Excessive wait times. Waited 30 minutes to be seated. Once seated and ordered it took us over an hour before our drinks came out and they didn't come together. My party's drinks came and it still was another 30 minutes before my drink arrived.
