Dang Brother Pizza was one of the vendors at the King Tut event I attended. They were offering pizza slices by someone wearing rollerblades! I was so full, but had to have a few more slices because it was so good. The dough was thin and had a bubbly crust. The sauce was delicous and pizza tasted great! I loved the margherita slices a lot! I need to order my next pizza from here!

Their gluten free pizza was AMAZING. Thin, crispy, however very oily. Service: quick but the cashier over charged me, she later corrected it but I was the one that caught it. It is a mobile truck so not sure where to find them next.

Owner: Kevin Spenla I got introduced to Dang Brother Pizza thorugh our Community Ranch festival. DAEL sur ranch festival hired few food places including Dang Brother Pizza. They are quick and at the same to time, perfectly cooked. They served for three days and it was hectic, 3 guys that worked the truck and two ladies to serve today were pretty awesome! They were friendly, accommodating and really made the event a fun experience. i am planning to hire the. For our next event, I guarantee you, You won't be disappointed. Dang Brother Pizza.was instant hit among kids and adults. Their menu is simple and to the point. The staff are super friendly and the way handled the crowd is amazing and courteous. Kevin the owner is super friendly and he is andling a great business model. The Fire truck idea is brilliant for the Pizza oven. Pizza cooked in fire truck; its hard to resist. Tip: They've currently opened up on Uber Eats. Book them, you won't be disappointed.

We were so stoked to see Dang Brother Pizza at ArtWalk San Diego Liberty Station tonight. They can be found at various events around Southern California and and they cook their pizzas out of the back of an old fire truck. At the last event I saw them at they had a couple of trucks there due to the number of attendees. Tonight it was just the one truck. The pizza was just as outstanding as I remember it the last time. A little bit pricy for a small pizza but the sauce is delicious and slightly sweet with the perfect crust and plentiful cheese. I would probably have them at least once a week if they were close to me at a permanent location. I hope I attend another event they are at again soon.

Pizza cooked in a fire truck? Yes please! Had the good fortune of experiencing this food truck as it rolled through RAGBRAI in Fort Dodge, IA! My two day pizza craving was finally satisfied with an awesome cheese pizza with added jalapeños. Yum! Excellent crust and loved the extra heat on top. Cooked quickly despite the long line. Bonus star for the veteran discount! Thanks!

Tried this little pizza stand out while at Camp Pendleton for the day. Despite there being a long line at this location around lunchtime (right across the aviation squadrons on base), they serve pizza pies out with the quickness!! Fresh ingredients, very tasty bites. Will definitely order from them again. I ordered the "Terminal Lance" pie, with pepperoni, jalapeños, and pineapple. So dang good!

I do like pizza and I liked Dang Brother's Pizza but I felt that on this particular visit, needed a little TLC. I ordered the Sexy Pepperoni for $12. Their were some burnt edges on the pizza but that was to be expected given they use a hot wood fired pizza oven. I will admit that it was more than I would of liked, so I recommend that they keep an eye out and keep the pizzas rotating every 30 to 40 seconds to apply an even bake around the circumference of the crust. I had to remove a lot of the burnt portion of the crust. In addition, the crust could benefit from, as they would say, a pinch of salt. The texture of the crust was very nice, reminiscent Neopolitan crust. Now for the rest of the pizza, the pepperoni was very tasty, the sauce was very mild, and feta & the garlic needed to be more noticeable. Actually, I was not able to taste the garlic at all. I added a good amount of grated Parmesan cheese and dried oregano flakes and that liven the over all flavor of the pizza. The ladies running the place were very cool and fun to talk to. Let's give them pizza some TLC!

Got to try Dang Brother Pizza at the Holiday Food Truck Festival in Balboa Park. The line was a bit intimidating at first because it was so long, but it actually went by pretty fast. They definitely have an efficient operation going on, which I love. They have people working the dough, putting on the toppings, managing the oven, taking orders, etc. While in line, I saw them add a bunch of fragrant rosemary by the opening of the oven. I ended up getting the Margherita. Delicious! Hot out of the oven and flavorful. I could eat a whole pizza all by myself. Don't forget your free drink with Yelp check in. For the size, the pizza was just a tad bit pricier than I would have liked, but I'm not mad about it because it was tasty. I'd order Dang Brother Pizza again!

    $16.20 for a sausage/mushroom pizza but where's the mushroom??

I had Dang Brother Pizza at the Holiday Food Truck Festival in Balboa Park. The line was a little longer than others, but the smell of the dough definitely drew me in. The line moved quickly, someone took your order while in line, you pay, and then you wait for your pizza. I got the sausage and mushroom and was disappointed with the amount of toppings. For the price ($16.20), I was hoping for a little more, however for the novelty of being a food truck in Balboa Park, it was worth it. I ate the whole thing myself!

Our pizza came out burnt only eating 1/2

We have had dang brothers pizza before at previous engagements. Today at another event we paid 20$ for burnt pizza and only ate half. These guys are cool people but they need to be consistent. Highly doubt I'll eat here again. Bummer cause pizza is my favorite food and I wanted to like these guys..

I hired Dang Brothers for my bridal shower and it was such a great decision. They came with their whole set up, arrived at the perfect time, set up quickly and had food ready right on time. We were a group of 25 women so we obviously didn't eat a ton of pizza... so they were nice enough to make a bunch of extras and leave them behind for us. We chose 4 different options, but they also offered to make custom pizzas for guests. Thanks again for helping make it a perfect day! :)

We went to balboa park and found this amazing fire truck turned to a pizza oven truck! How cool it is. My husband is a pizza lover, so we decided to try this cool spot out and we loved it. We even recommended Dang Brother Pizza to our friend. It is really delicious!

On my latest visit the pizza was delicious, full of Pepperoni's and great sauce. Service was 10 and fast. I consider Dang Bros. the best pizza booth in San Diego.

A service truck with all of the advertising for Flavor Chef Catering was driving extremely erratically, well over the speed limit, and was tailgating me to the point that I was worried they would hit me. I was turning into my residential area with my signal on when the driver of this truck tried to split the lanes and almost caused an accident. When you have all of your advertising on a panel truck, you need to understand that that's just as important as having a good or bad product. I would never use this company and I would make sure that if I ever have the chance I would let people know not to use them either. Driving so erratically that they almost caused an accident is more damaging than a bad meal.

I had guests coming up to me telling me how they quite literally cleaned their plates and went back for seconds. JP really went above and beyond to provide us with the best service and experience. He even made sure we were fed pre-ceremony. An all around wonderful guy. He's communicative, detail oriented, and a wonderful partner in what can be a stressful planning process. Could not recommend him and his team enough.

I gave JP (owner) an incredible amount of grace throughout the process and yet, he still managed to screw us. It was not a single issue, but a failure on multiple levels. THE SHORT VERSION: 1) he was very unprofessional overall in his communication. 2) he backed out of bar service a few days before our wedding and ghosted us after the wedding without a refund, 3) without exaggeration, some of the food at the wedding was inedible THE LONGER VERSION: The tasting went amazing. Ashley (who no longer works there) was extremely communicative. They asked for 50% as a deposit (which is pretty high) but the food was really good so we accepted. However, the tasting was the only good thing about our experience... 1. He was unreachable for months leading up to our wedding. The company phone number was either not taking calls, or went straight to voicemail. No response to emails. He finally got back to me about one month before our wedding (we thought we got scammed at that point). I gave him the benefit of the doubt despite all of this 2. He backed out of providing bar services a week before the wedding. I knew something was off when he wouldn't provide us with an shopping lists for our cocktails, despite following up. A few days before our wedding, our coordinator told us that his bartenders did not have proper certification and without one, could not serve alcohol (note: this was merely an RBS certification... EVERY OTHER bar service that we spoke with met this requirement). I specifically asked at contract signing if they were certified. Also, JP did not inform us that he was dropping out. I had to text him myself for confirmation, as I was unsure if he was going to hire other bartenders, if they would obtain the certificate, or if he was dropping out. Only then did he tell me he would not provide bar service. Again, this was 7 days before the wedding. He also took 3 more days to clarify exactly what service he would no longer be providing, when we obviously needed to know asap as we were scrambling to secure another bar service Even though this certification is the minimum requirement for many venues, he tried to pass the blame onto the venue, stating that he never encountered this requirement before (how is this possible? As a wedding caterer, he should have been familiar with these requirement, whether or not he met them). Huge red flag. Despite this, I didn't make this an issue 3. He promised to refund us for the bar service but ghosted us after the wedding. I disputed the charge and he finally responded, threatening to sue. 4. He was unreachable on the morning of the wedding. Again, poor communication.. 5. The food failed to meet even our lowest standards. The 50% deposit really had our hands tied and we couldn't back out despite the red flags. As long as he showed up and served food that was remotely close to our tasting, we'd be happy. However, he totally skimped out on the quality and quantity. For example, our passed appetizers were smoked salmon bagels. I'm not sure if he used old bagels or what, but the bagels were stale and rock hard. My friend tried to bite down on one and immediately spit it out. My aunt had to warn guests not to eat them. He swapped out some of the items that we paid for with inferior options (ie: we paid for a fig and honey roll... he just added a basic dinner roll). Guests told us they were confused that our menu did not match the food. Some guests got half a dinner roll (meaning they didn't have enough) The main entrées did not match the quality or size of the original dish we were promised at the tasting. I understand that preparing a meal for 2 people is not the same as 100 people, and there is inherently a drop in quality on the wedding day. However, this was completely different. Many guests attested that the salmon entree was inedible as it was incredibly dry and overcooked. Look at the photo of the tri-tip I uploaded and the difference between what we were promised and what we received We asked for leftovers to be packed but never received them. All in all, I was super understanding and even allocated 15% as tip for his team despite his poor communication. Despite this, the fact that he never gave us a refund for the bar service is appalling.

Quality imagination presentation --…read more Four Seasons Food Catering is owned by the marvelous duo Billy Burd and Sierra Ridenour-Burd. They make an amazing team. They catered a party for us at the The Thursday Club in Point Loma in March and dazzled everyone. When we were trying to choose a caterer we were attracted to Four Seasons by the imaginative and creative flair of Chef Billy Burd's cuisine and by their very positive reviews. One thing that caught our attention about the reviews was that many of them were fairly long. Apparently reviewers were not satisfied to give 5 stars and a paragraph of praise, they really wanted to testify. They felt that Four Seasons was special and they were motivated to let you know just how special. After experiencing Four Seasons catering service we can understand that sentiment. The culinary experience Four Seasons provided was marvelous. The dishes were imaginative, taste tempting, and a delight to the eye. Guests loved the appetizers that were passed: shrimp wrapped in basil and pancetta, mushrooms with escargot, parmesan crusted artichoke hearts. The stationary display had a choice assortment of cheeses and a selection of cold seafood that included jumbo shrimp, smoked salmon, ahi poke, and a sashimi platter all beautifully presented. Suffice it to say the buffet was equally spectacular. Chef Billy takes pride in the quality of the products he sources. The filet mignon for example was gorgeous. The shrimp served in the seafood display were so tasty that they made you stop and take notice. This was a once in a lifetime kind of party for us so we pulled out the stops when we were choosing items for the menu. It's very much to Billy and Sierra's credit that part of their response was to say that and they would be happy to offer some more budget friendly variations. We appreciated their inclination to work with clients to find good solutions to their needs. We enjoyed meeting with Chef Billy one time early in the planning process, but other than that, all the planning and coordination was handled by Sierra. She is fantastic and a pleasure to work with. She gave us recommendations on the initial approach to the menu, on down to details like the serving schedule, linens, and the table floor plan. We communicated mostly through email which was very productive because her emails, besides being congenial, were always clear and complete. And it was amazing how quickly she would reply, usually the same day. When it came to the final week before the party and it was time to summarize all the various emails and discussions Sierra nailed it, she recapped everything perfectly. The Four Seasons staff were wonderful. During the set up time they operated like clockwork. During the party they could not have been more charming and gracious. This is another major point to Billy and Sierra's credit. It takes care and effort to assemble a team of this quality--a group of individuals who interface harmoniously not only with the guests, but with each other, and with other vendors such as the florist. The whole event flowed thanks to the staff. When you are planning a special event you hope to create a joyful and memorable experience for all your guests. Four Seasons is a caterer with an amazing combination of culinary artistry and service craft. Choose Four Seasons as your caterer and you can't go wrong.
