I like the variety pack of slices. If you only like one style, grabbing a whole pie cut to 6-8 large slices is a better deal (~$25-$30 total). As always, the slices were delicious, the service was fast and friendly, and the outdoor sidewalk seating is perfect for people watching. Each slice is crispy, thin, foldable and PACKED with flavor. They have about 10 small round tables for open seating in the sidewalk. The interior dining area has a few spots as well. The parking in little Italy still sucks, so good luck with that.

It was extremely tough and difficult to cut and chew. I ended up leaving almost the entire entrée on my plate because I simply couldn't enjoy it. My husband and I both commented that it didn't have the tenderness or delicate texture we normally associate with veal. True veal should be tender, fine-grained, and easy to cut with a fork, but this was quite the opposite. Based on this experience, I would not order another meat entrée from this restaurant. It's unfortunate because the ravioli showed that the kitchen is capable of preparing excellent food. I hope the restaurant will review the quality of the meat it serves, as it made an otherwise pleasant visit very disappointing.

I could tell easily that they use very high quality Parmesan because i'm a Parmesan connoisseur and could taste how potent it was. They let me have as much extra as I wanted on without limiting since I enjoy a lot on it which was also a plus in my book. Next time I would get a pasta that's a little lighter, because it was a more heavy dish and it tends to make me feel pretty full after which is totally a me thing, but they have so much on the menu to try that I'm sure I'll love whatever I get even more next time. Lastly, dessert. We got a regular tiramisu and it was absolutely amazing. They put a ton of cream which is exactly what I look for. It wasn't too espresso or cocoa strong and had a perfect ratio. I had seen a previous review on here about someone not liking the tiramisu here and it not meeting their expectations for a more upscale Italian place but I've been to quite a few authentic Italian gems and this one had tiramisu up there so I'd have to disagree and completely recommend! The service was impeccable. Every waiter was kind and prompt, constantly making sure we were taken care of and getting what we needed. The atmosphere was also a plus for us because we have a 1 year old baby and there was enough room where we weren't too cramped or crowded in, and it wasn't too loud or overstimulating. The place was very clean and taken care of as well as the bathrooms. All in all, I loved this place and I will be coming back. I would definitely recommend Monello for a nice little date night, and don't forget the tiramisu.

We said yes but that we wanted a Foccacia Bread table starter. She smiled and immediately went to put the order in. A few few minutes later she came back and we ordered our drinks for dinner: Raspberry Italian Soda, Orange Crush with Fresh Cream on top, and a non-alcoholic spritz. After we got our drinks and sip on them, it took us a bit of time to decide what we wanted. We all know that the burger here is fantastic! However, this evening, we decided to try new things. We ordered: Pappardelle Bolognese with Added Meatballs, Pappardelle Bolognese as it is normally prepared, and a Caesar salad with shrimp added. Our food was out within about 10 to 15 minutes and everything was prepared perfectly. I have to say that we really enjoyed dining in this location and we may need to come back here more instead of traveling to the Del Mar location sometimes. Our server was super customer service oriented and we appreciated her. She went above and beyond to get the orange crush drink to be unique like an Italian soda for my daughter. We were super stuffed and could not do dessert, but we did promise to come back to enjoy the lava cake at a future time. Booking with Stella's was by far one of the easiest and most rewarding decisions my husband and I made for our wedding. They were such a dream to work with, and a special shout out to Amy Zinman who took such good care of us during all our planning phases! She was incredibly prompt with her communication, helpful, and so sweet. And the food is absolutely incredible! Out of this world, truly. Serving delicious food at our wedding was high on my husband's priority list, and the moment we had a sampling of their pizzas and appetizers, we knew they'd make the perfect fit. It was a fun experience for our guests too, to have so many choices at the buffet table and receive hot, fresh pizza! I can't recommend them enough. We had Stella's Pizza cater our wedding and honestly, we're still getting messages from guests about the food weeks later. Pizza at a wedding might raise a few eyebrows, but the moment people took their first slice, any skepticism went straight out the window. The quality was just really, really good. Everything tasted fresh and you could tell it wasn't just churned out -- there was proper care behind it. We went back and forth a lot on the catering decision but Stella's made us feel like we'd nailed it. The team were also just lovely people. Friendly, relaxed, and they got on with it without us having to worry about a thing -- which on your wedding day is exactly what you need. If you're thinking about booking them, do it. My fiance and I had committed to a caterer for our wedding in San Diego. We still needed a late-night food vendor though, we consulted with Stella's. We scheduled a "pizza tasting". They hosted us in their home dining room and fed us 10-15 courses of some of the best italian cuisine we'd ever had. As we stumbled out to our car so uncomfortably full, I looked at my fiance and said "so they're going to cater the whole wedding right?", to which she responded "duh". We had 170 guests, they fed everyone in a timely manner, with incredible grace and professionalism. Their food is amazing, and their customer service is in a league of its own. read more

Unfortunately, the experience leading up to the wedding was extremely stressful and disorganized. All communication was handled through Michael, and it was consistently difficult to reach him. Emails often went unanswered (at one point I sent four with no response), and I had to repeatedly follow up by phone just to get replies. It felt like I had to manage and chase every detail myself, which added unnecessary stress during an already busy time. A major issue arose with required venue documentation (insurance, waivers, and liquor liability forms), which our venue needed a month in advance. Despite multiple follow-ups and reassurances that it would be handled, the venue did not receive all documents until just three days before the wedding. This level of disorganization was concerning and unprofessional. Even more concerning, about two weeks before the wedding, we were told that alcohol service would be limited to five hours (ending at 9:00pm), despite our signed contract clearly stating service from 4:00-9:30pm. This was described as a company preference--not a legal requirement. We had to push back significantly to have the original contract honored, which was incredibly frustrating and should not have been necessary so close to the wedding. During this time, I was even researching alternative bartending options in case we needed to make a last-minute change. Although we ultimately secured bar service through 9:30pm, we were told that only signature cocktails would be served during the final portion of the night and that they would need to be pre-batched, despite having paid for bartending staff, and beer and wine were no longer offered during that time. On the day of the wedding, we later learned the catering team arrived 40 minutes late and asked our coordinator to shift the entire timeline to accommodate them. Thankfully, she declined and kept things on track. After the event, several guests mentioned that the bar ran out of prosecco and liquor toward the end of the night. However, we were sent home with multiple unopened bottles, which was confusing and disappointing to hear. While the food itself met expectations, the lack of communication, last-minute changes to agreed-upon services, and overall disorganization made this a very difficult vendor to work with. I would not recommend them, as the added stress was not worth it - I would never want another bride to deal with what we went through.

They catered a party for us at the The Thursday Club in Point Loma in March and dazzled everyone. When we were trying to choose a caterer we were attracted to Four Seasons by the imaginative and creative flair of Chef Billy Burd's cuisine and by their very positive reviews. One thing that caught our attention about the reviews was that many of them were fairly long. Apparently reviewers were not satisfied to give 5 stars and a paragraph of praise, they really wanted to testify. They felt that Four Seasons was special and they were motivated to let you know just how special. After experiencing Four Seasons catering service we can understand that sentiment. The culinary experience Four Seasons provided was marvelous. The dishes were imaginative, taste tempting, and a delight to the eye. Guests loved the appetizers that were passed: shrimp wrapped in basil and pancetta, mushrooms with escargot, parmesan crusted artichoke hearts. The stationary display had a choice assortment of cheeses and a selection of cold seafood that included jumbo shrimp, smoked salmon, ahi poke, and a sashimi platter all beautifully presented. Suffice it to say the buffet was equally spectacular. Chef Billy takes pride in the quality of the products he sources. The filet mignon for example was gorgeous. The shrimp served in the seafood display were so tasty that they made you stop and take notice. This was a once in a lifetime kind of party for us so we pulled out the stops when we were choosing items for the menu. It's very much to Billy and Sierra's credit that part of their response was to say that and they would be happy to offer some more budget friendly variations. We appreciated their inclination to work with clients to find good solutions to their needs. We enjoyed meeting with Chef Billy one time early in the planning process, but other than that, all the planning and coordination was handled by Sierra. She is fantastic and a pleasure to work with. She gave us recommendations on the initial approach to the menu, on down to details like the serving schedule, linens, and the table floor plan. We communicated mostly through email which was very productive because her emails, besides being congenial, were always clear and complete. And it was amazing how quickly she would reply, usually the same day. When it came to the final week before the party and it was time to summarize all the various emails and discussions Sierra nailed it, she recapped everything perfectly. The Four Seasons staff were wonderful. During the set up time they operated like clockwork. During the party they could not have been more charming and gracious. This is another major point to Billy and Sierra's credit. It takes care and effort to assemble a team of this quality--a group of individuals who interface harmoniously not only with the guests, but with each other, and with other vendors such as the florist. The whole event flowed thanks to the staff. When you are planning a special event you hope to create a joyful and memorable experience for all your guests. They set up and fired up the oven. Before long, pizza after pizza were coming out of the oven. "Boring Cheese, Sexy Pepperoni, Bacon Basil White, BBQ Chicken, Hawaiian, and Meat Lovers", (along with a Caesar salad). One delicious pizza after another. I loved the fire baked crust with just the right amount of char on the edges. All of the toppings were fresh and plentiful. Of the pizzas above, my favorites were the Sexy Pepperoni, Hawaiian and the Meat Lovers. The Bacon Basil White was quite good as well. My coworkers raved about the BBQ Chicken and the salad, neither of which I had. Work party, private party or if you just see a Dang Brother's cool vintage fire truck out and about, get a pie!

We had them cater San Diego Automotive Museum's Shifting Gears Rally at Deer Park Winery and Auto Museum in Escondido. They showed up on schedule with enough preparation time to get the sandwiches hot and ready at our designated start time. The attendees loved the sandwiches and kept going back for more, complimenting the food each time. Justin's team kept everything tidy and cleaned up after themselves leaving no mess at all. It was fantastic service and I will recommend them anytime for any event.

Selection, preparation, and flavors were all well-executed. Everything was served buffet-style to facilitate socializing, and Giuseppe staff diligently kept the platters and chafing dishes refreshed and replenished throughout the two hour event.

We liked that they were very sociable and mingled with the guests, asking them questions and making small talk while they waited for their drink order. They helped us determine what amount of each alcohol we should purchase.
