My wife and I dropped our daughter off for softball practice than came here for dinner. We were drawn in by the neighboring BBQ stand (but they were closed) and saw the Thai cart (so we investigated). The menu looked good and inviting so we ordered. I had the Pad Thai and she had the Pineapple Fried Rice. The food was good. The portions were larger. And everything came out fast and hot. More importantly, it came out correct. We didn't come looking for Thai (I still really want BBQ) but am satisfied with our dinner. read more

Portions are great, food is so flavorful, super friendly staff and easy to order. I'd say this is my favorite pad Thai in the area. Love seeing awesome spots like this in the community. I also saw that they have tonkotsu ramen so I'm definitely looking forward to trying that in the future when the weather is a bit cooler! read more

Awesome thai food for our little town. So I usually give a reason for my review. This one gets 5 stars for several reasons. 1-Service. Service is good, the people running it are polite and they greet me every time, they answer my questions when I have some and they are not pushy when I'm being indecisive. 2- Food. Ok, maybe not the BEST thai I have every had, but way up there. Easily top 5. So I have to say coming off a food truck in our little town, that is a major victory. I am very happy to see someone upping the thai game in St. Helens after years of mediocre or bad thai. This place makes me crave thai again. 3- Atmosphere. Seems good, outdoors which is good and safe for covid-19 social distancing. The aromas around the food carts is good, and other people seem to be more friendly and inviting to conversation. 4- Price. Very important. I left a not so good review for a thai place who had way overpriced yucky pad thai. Dang's has really fair pricing and is worth the money. Portions fit the bill and I have not felt ripped off. They seem good. That is about it, I encourage you to give them a try. I will be dining there often. Their food is really good. My sons favorite is Pad Thai and salad rolls​. I like also the sweet rice with mango on the side

Okay. It took me a while to try this place because I'm almost never ready for dinner before 7pm but I may have to change my eating schedule every now and again because this place is delicious! I only tried the pad kee mao (drunken noodles) and spring rolls but both were great... and the pad kee mao may be some of the best I have had in years. I'm a huge Thai food fan, and one of my favorite dishes is pad se ew. Ever since having kids my spice tolerance has really declined and whenever I order medium it's way to hot, but when I order mild it's bland. I called in my order and asked if they could give me in between mild and medium. They accommodated my request and also put chili sauce on the side incase I wanted more spice. There was a little sticker shock on the price tag of $12 however once home, this portion was plenty for two which my spouse and I split- no complaints about a $6 lunch! read more

Last week I had a craving some Thai food, but I had to peruse the menu to make sure my food did not contain allergens. I went to this food cart located behind the bowling alley here in St. Helens. Dang's Little Dragon has a menu that piqued my interest. I spoke to the two men who were working there, informed them of my allergy to the Fabaceae family, and proceeded to order. After looking at the menu (which is displayed right on the outside of the food cart) I decided the Spicy Basil dish was what I desired. I got that dish made with Fish Sauce as to not trigger my allergy. I also added two Veggie Salad rolls (minus the peanut sauce) to my order. Sat back enjoyed some of the people watching as my food was being prepared. Five or so minutes later I had my lunch and the aroma of the food was teasing me. Got home, opened the container and the plume of aromas surrounded my nose. The aroma consisted of spicy, earthy, fresh, sweet. I quickly grabbed my chopsticks and dug in. The first bite was a combination of spicy, peppery, salty, sweetness that was perfectly balanced. The fresh veggies crunched, the ground chicken was tender, mushrooms were cooked just right, the Basil added a little anise flavor, the onions added nice tang and crunch, finally the peppers (red and green) finished each bite with their texture and sweet flavor. Each bite was the same, and I was enjoying every single one of them. After consuming the Spicy Basil dish, I had leftover juice in the container, so I escorted the white rice from one side of my container into the sauce for a nice soaking bath. While the rice bathed, I decided to eat a salad roll. I put a drizzle of Coco Aminos on the roll and took a bite. The roll had crunchy carrot and celery, soft rice vermicelli noodles (I believe that is what they were), and other ingredients that I forgot to write down as I was consuming it (I was busy enjoying the food). The rolls were done nicely, and hand made, I just wish my allergy would not prevent me from having these with the peanut sauce, but life goes on. After I consumed the salad rolls my rice was done bathing, and the extra juice had been absorbed. I devoured the freshly flavored rice, and with a burp, the meal was gone, lunch was perfect, and I had a good sweat going due to the spice in the dish. Absolutely loved the fact that this food cart is openly willing to work with those of us who have food allergies.
