The waitresses were awesome overall, but as soon as we called ours over and told her that our egg foo young tasted burnt on both of our orders she became very nervous. We asked her if we could get a fresh order of that item and she said "let me go talk to the boss." what happened next was the last thing that I ever expected, mind you I grew up in a restaurant. My parents owned one for 40 years in eastern Oregon. The chef.(whom we assume is the owner) come to our table with the plate that we put all of the egg foo young on and starts chopping it up with the fork while consistently stating " it not burnt, see it soft!" she repeated this for 3 to 5 minutes quite loudly, everyone in the restaurant was watching her. The edges were burned all the way around each piece, five in total. My boyfriend asked " What do you want us to do? Cut off the edges and just eat the middle?" her response was to cut it again and."SEE IT SOFT! NO EGG FOO YOUNG FOR YOU!" and she stormed away. Sadly, both waitresses rushed to our table and apologized on behalf of their boss. Nobody should ever have to apologize for someone else's behavior. We told them it wasn't their fault then our waitress promptly removed the $12.50 side order of egg, foo young and adjusted the price of mine down to a two item instead of a three item meal. I can promise you we will never go back. The only photo I have is when I first got my mail and you cannot quite tell that it's burnt as it's covered in gravy. I wish I would've gotten another picture however, I never expected that to happen. I have never experienced such horrific actions by an "owner or boss" of the business, neither has Eddie.
