Fantastic half day sailing cruise with Brian and Olivia on Jan 10th. We had a group of 12 ranging in age from teens to 90 years old and there was something for everyone to enjoy between the snorkeling, sailing. and kayaking. What a great adventure! We did the full day trip with snorkeling, kayaking, lunch and plenty of good times. We sailed with Brian, Emily and Meg. All three were friendly, down to earth and knowledgeable. We started by sailing toward the mangroves and learned about local history and wildlife on the way. We stopped to snorkel and saw a ton of beautiful colorful fish along with crabs, lobsters, a lion fish and a Goliath grouper! Then we ate lunch while sailing closer to the mangrove where we stopped agin to kayak through a mangrove that also acts as a nursery for nurse and bonnet sharks as well as rays. Easy 5 of 5 stars, would recommend to all of my friends and return time and time again! read more

Well organized, excellent planning with quality freshly made appetizers and wine. Sarah's male Captain and female crew provided a wonderful sunset sailing for a longer duration than other sunset cruises we saw out on the water during our cruise. We were one of the first on the water and not quite the last to return. The sailing ship, Sarah, is intimate with about 20 passengers; she does lean a bit. We saw a catamaran and thought how boring their cruise must be; comparable to a floating platform not the wonderful sailing experience we had with an experienced and capable captain and crew. Also, there's a restroom on board: suggest you use land restrooms if you're not well travelled and can flex with a variety of situations. Otherwise, the cruise could not have been better! 1. The amount of food and wine was just enough; 2. Experienced and friendly captain and crew willing to accommodate individual needs as they occurred; 3. My boyfriend and I took the full day sailing, snorkeling and kayaking trip and it was one of the highlights of our trip! Kayaking around the mangroves was beautiful and incredibly informative. Snorkeling was also a blast. Though neither of us were very good at it...we still had fun and felt totally safe and supported. The staff was incredible. The minute we walked on the sailboat they were handing out water and fruit (keeping us hydrated) and connecting with everyone individually so that you really felt at home. Lunch was simple and filling - lots of options, even for the vegetarians like me. Post snorkeling, we were able to enjoy wine and beer while sailing back to Key West. We couldn't keep our glasses empty...they were always there to refill...not a bad problem on vacation. Captain Nick, Dale and Sean were the best. We will definitely be back again. Probably the best company to do an excursion with. We took the full day snorkeling and kayaking tour and it was one of the best experiences I've had on any vacation. The captain and mates were friendly and fun to have as guides--they were also super catering to everyone during meals and the long boat trip. The group was very intimate with 10-20 people, and not too crowded. For breakfast we had a fruit platter and still needing a little energy one of the mates brought me a breakfast bar to give me some energy. It was a beautiful day and our captain even took time to go to a dolphin spot where we saw 7-9 dolphins swimming right up to the boat (even though it was not technically in our package). You could not ask for a better experience in Key West then going with Danger Charters. I would definitely come back and do it again. read more

I would give this zero stars if I could. Snorkeling was gross. They took us to possibly the worst spot in all of key west. The water was disgusting and have no idea why someone would take us here when there is clear water other than the "captain" is a spiteful bitch. The drinks they served was spoiled beer that tasted like crap. The food was laughable. The "captain" got her feelings hurt and decided to be spiteful. She gave me a kayak full of water that someone else tipped over, then tried to blame me. So instead of pumping the water out all the way she left it in the kayak and the shit was dragging on the bottom. Worst excursion ever. I tipped the crew because the one guy that was on there was cool. Apparently they took that as I like the shitty tour and refused to refund our money. This was 900$ to swim in a toilet and row a busted ass kayak. Don't spend your hard earned money. I had to goto the credit card company to dispute this charge. read more

This is my 3rd outing with a Danger crew, 2 wine & cheese sunset cruises before, and it was the best yet. My family spent 1/2 day snorkeling & kayaking with Nate, Brianna & I can't remember his name. A great friendly, knowledgeable crew we saw starfish, sea biscuits, dolphins playing, 3 different types of sharks, cormorants and brown & white pelicans, oh my! We took their half day evening cruise (3:30 PM) which included sailing, kayaking, snorkeling, and snacks-drinks. We had a group of about 20 people, including 3 of their staff, on a sail. They start off with sailing for about 30-40 minutes till it reaches shallow waters. They said they have this special boat that is able to sail in a very shallow water as well. Once it reached close to some mangroves into 1-2 feet shallow water, they took out their kayaks. Each one is a 2 person kayak. They will do a quick prep course of working with kayaks and then everyone sets off. We enjoyed kayaking as it was our first time. Two of the staff members join the group, each leading one of the groups, guiding them through the mangroves with some interesting information on the vegetation and the aquatic life around. Post kayaking, the boat sails further into deep waters which is followed by snorkeling. While they provide the equipment and a quick prep course to use the equipment to snorkeling, unlike Kayaking, one is pretty much on his/her own. Post snorkeling, there is snacks and drinks as the boat sails back to the shore. The staff was good, well equipped and quite knowledgeable about the area and water sports. They started off with some water and food as everyone settled in. This was followed by a knowledge session on the history of Key West, its aquatic life, and people. They only allow drinks after kayaking and snorkeling for obvious reasons - so set your expectations accordingly. One caution, I would say, is if you don't know swimming, don't set your expectations with respect to snorkeling because it's not a guided snorkeling unlike in other parts of the world. They provide the equipment and additional floating help like float jacket and noodle but you are expected to use the equipment to snorkel on your own. And if the waves are high it becomes difficult to snorkel. Snacks are pretty much fruit plate and nachos. The beer collection is good. Overall, it was a great experience - especially kayaking. Definitely recommended but I would still like to try out a couple of more to see what's different. read more

Had an amazing time out on the water today 12/12/19. The crew was awesome and the snacks were perfect. We got to enjoy a wonderful morning from 9am-1:30pm out on the water. The sail was awesome. We got to see a few dolphins and a huge turtle. The snorkeling is was great, we saw many fish, a jellyfish and eels. The kayaking tour was great as well! It's a slower paced tour for those inexperienced. For those experienced in kayaking, it was a nice relaxing ocean tour. The tour was peaceful and the water so clear that you could stay out there all day. I hope everyone gets to experience this once in their life at least. This sunset cruise was an amazing way to end my Key West vacation. This cruise exceeded my expectations. The ride was fabulous and apps and wine were delicious, however what really made this cruise was the crew!! They were sooooo fun! Ren and the rest of the crew were not only funny and hospitable but also super knowledgeable about the island and surrounding areas. I couldn't recommend this cruise any more.
