I have been to a lot of hair stylists. Dan is BY FAR the best one. I have very short hair and it needs to have a very exact cut. He is so precise!! I always get compliments on my haircut. He's also great at color. Dan is so good that people think I don't have any gray hair!!! The color looks very natural which is exactly what I want. I have been going to Dan for at least 10 years and have followed him to different salons. He's at Fringe and Fern in Walnut Creek now which is a hair salon and plant store!! While it may seem like an odd combo, it's very relaxing to be surrounded by plants- it's an environment which I appreciate!! Dan is not only a great hair stylist- he's just an all around great guy!! Beyond amazing!! Daniel is not only the most professional, approachable, and kindest stylist I've ever had, he's also the best at working with my hair. I have been so disappointed with haircuts here in the U.S. compared to those I had in England. That is until I found Daniel after looking for a Vidal Salon inspired hairdresser. He really understands the "logic" of hair as very few do. He is kind, humble, gentle and an absolute genius: a real artist who really cares about his work. I would give Daniel 10 stars if I could! I have followed him to 4 salons over the years because no one has ever been able to cut and style my hair the way he does. And I know this because I never got compliments on my hair until he started cutting it, and I have been getting those compliments ever since. Dan at Infinity Salon has been my stylist for the last few years and it's always a great experience! I love how he does my color. I like to change my style frequently and Dan always listens and discusses the options with me. I've sent my husband, daughter and sister and they all love Dan, too. I recently had shoulder surgery and was in a wheelchair being taken to my car. A woman in the elevator was obsessed with my hair! I have very fine, thick hair. Which means a perfect haircut is essential for my hair to be manageable. I love Dan! I have never had a bad hair cut or color. I have gone from dark to adding in carmel highlights to going dark to now RED! He has never steered me wrong! He also helped me cut 13 inches off my hair! He is super patient and always takes the necessary time to do a really good and through job. I went to Dan for a hair cut last week and I totally loved it! I have longer blonde hair and it was all one length. I asked him what he would recommend for a change and he suggested layering it especially around my face. I have a lot of hair and he thinned it a bit as well. It looks GREAT! Let me preface this review by saying I am exceedingly picky about my hair. It is very long and I am embarrassingly attached to it and how it looks. I found Dan via a 20-something co-worker who seemed to have a new hairstyle and new color every six months, and her hair always looked terrific. I was in the process of trying to grow out my heavy highlights in a way that wasn't obvious, and had gone through 2 (really expensive!) hairdressers and was about to give up. When I told Dan what I wanted to do, he gave me my options and the benefits of each. That was almost 2 years ago and my hair is the best it has ever been! He has been able to color the highlights only so that I can keep my hair long and have NO obvious roots showing - and I only need to touch this up every 9 months or so. He also changed the style, which gave my hair body and curl that I never knew existed. I feel like I am due a refund from the overpriced hairdressers that I went to in the past. Even better, Dan also cuts my 17 year old son's hair, and my son actually likes the result every time. No more fighting to get him in for a cut. Priceless! read more

Dan has been my hair stylist for several years, and he is the BEST with cut and color, and cutting straight Asian hair. Even after a few weeks of growth, his haircuts retain the same shape and bounce. He spends the time to do the cut right and you know he cares a lot that it looks good and that you like it. He's always up to date on the newest hair products and is comfortable using them because he understands what they do to enhance your hair.
