The moment I walked into the office Felt uncomfortable. The receptionist was awful. The first thing she said was your $700.00 consultation fee is due now how would you like to pay for it. Not hello welcome. Handed me several pages to fill out of my personal information of which the Dr. did not even look at.....because he asked me same questions. The office was very dark and freezing and the reception room was packed . I was not impressed with his staff and it left me with a negative perception of the Dr. His fees are over the top. The receptionist Kristin Hughes is awful. I sent in photos and was told it could take over two weeks for the Dr to get back to me. Totally fine. I'm on vacation anyway. I get a voice message from a Bonnie from her office saying to call back. No details. I shoot Kristin a quick nice message saying I'm unable to call because I'm on vacation. Can we keep to email please? She writes back telling me "You'll need to call the office back and request to speak to Bonnie." I told her I can't do that right now once again and she writes back: " Then you'll need to call when you're back." NO HELP and RUDE. No other office staff I have been in contact with hasn't been able to give some kind of info by email and they were so nice. Horrible customer service. Will give my money elsewhere. read more

Had him perform a forehead lift. I looked exactly same after. When I told him that he showed me pictures of my skin littering flapped down exposed my meat tissue it was uncalled for. This was one of the worst decisions of my life. I went to him because one might assume that Brooke Burke, his wife at the time, went to him and she looked great. Silly, I know. I think she later said he did not do her work which makes sense. He did my breast implants and clearly placed two different sized implants in but made me wait a year for him to "redo just one of them". Even then he made me pay the surgery fee although it was clearly his mistake in placing two different sized implants. After he redid just one breast, it was still HUGE compared to the other. I waited years to pay a new surgeon who removed and replaced both and he was shocked that there were two very different sized implants inside. I sent the proof to Dr. Garth Fisher who basically said "too bad" and didn't offer me a dime. I would have never had them removed and replaced if he hadn't messed them up. I wish I had reported him to the Medical Board. But I did pass out pics of my uneven breasts (with no face) to everyone in his waiting room. I hope to God it deterred them from having surgery with him. He has NO morals and did not feel the least bit obligated to give me a dime to pay for my THIRD surgery. You DO NOT get not one thin dime for pain and suffering when they screw up TWICE. Insanity. read more

I am writing this review as a cautionary note to women that elect to undergo augmentation with a doctor who feels that he decides what is acceptable in his eyesight. A few years ago I decided that it was time to change my saline implants to silicon. Initially, I wanted Garth to perform my surgery 15 years ago, but I'm so happy that I did not. My initial surgery left me scarred due to keloid, but my doctor at that time was able to reconstruct them by a simple revision where he injected kenalog prior to suturing. Now please keep in mind that this time around I only wanted to go from saline to silicon and have a areola reduction using the exact technique that my former physician used to prevent keloids. I went in to consult with Garth by paying the $500 consultation fee, no problem. During the consult, I explained my back history of what I had experienced during my previous surgery. The first red flag, Garth humiliated my prior physician Dr. Peter Cheski for committing suicide. Who does this? Poor bedside manner strike number of 1. I told him what I was looking to do this time around, and he said that he would not perform the surgery without doing a lift as well. Now knowing what I've been through in the past with scarring, I said I would be willing to do the surgery if he would apply the steroid prior to suturing. He said he'd never done this before, but would consider. Surgery day. Side note: this will be 1 out of 3 surgeries performed over a three year period. I'm being prepped for surgery and experiencing a tremendous amount of anxiety and stress over the outcome. I beg Garth to use the same method as mentioned on the operating table, and he declined! First surgery completed and I wake up in my hotel room totally freaking out because a piercing that I had on my vaginal region is missing and I did not remove it? I find out that while I was under, he took it upon himself to cut them off!!! I'm infuriated! Not only did he not follow through with my plan to avoid scarring, but he also illegally removes my piercings while I was unconscious? Totally unacceptable. The first surgery can be described as a complete butcher. I was mutilated. I was left butchered, not able to work for months while healing and in constant pain. Additionally I had to visit the office every month for steroid injections that were ineffective. On to surgery number two that left me once again, jobless for months and in constant pain because he still would not inject the kenalog prior to suturing. However this time around, Garth said he would offer laser treatments to remove the scarring , as well as tattooing to complete the treatment. All expenses would be covered by the office. After a year of laser treatment, my areolas still had a great deal of keloid. So on to surgery #3. Surgery number 3. This time around, he used the exact method that I begged him to use the first go around. All expenses for the surgery were paid for by his office. Guess what? This time around, no keloids! However, he decided to discontinue the laser treatment that was never completed because he feels like "they look good to him"! Absolutely not! I requested that the office paid for the completion of treatment at a facility near my house in Orange County since he no longer offers laser treatments. He declined. Now I am left with highly visible scarring, thousands upon thousands of dollars lost from not being able to work post surgical and completely embarrassed to go topless after spending roughly $30,000! Please if you are reading this, run for the hills! No one of any skin tone should experience what I have. *Lawsuit coming soon! read more

I had a 10 pound baby in my 20s and no matter how much weight I lost or how much I exercised I had this horrible fat stomach. I grew up at the beach which made me more self conscious of it. I went to Dr fisher to consult on a tummy tuck. He grabbed my belly and said that it was not my fault and that there was nothing I could do that would make it go away. For the first time in 15 years I didn't feel guilty about my stomach. He said it was the result of having a 10 pound baby and only surgery could fix it. I lived about 300 miles away from his office and instead of booking me for surgery in his office he suggested I find someone closer to home to do the surgery. Who does that! I just want to let any potential patients know my experience at the office. I arrived for my 11:30 appointment at 11:20. The office staff greeting me was very friendly. And they brought me to the exam room promptly. But after 90 minutes, I had to exit the room to find a nurse to find the doctor. When he arrived sayin "hello how are you?" I told him I'm ok but I've been waiting 90 minutes his response was "well you dont have to be here". With no apology or even basic explanation. At that moment I felt that he could have cared less about me as a patient. However, what happened next is why I'm writing this yelp review. He abruptly exited the room leaving the door WIDE OPEN and me fully exposed to the outside. I was shocked and humiliated. I had disrobed before he entered the room and was in a paper gown that was open!! This is why I'm writing this review. I've heard he is a great surgeon but God for bid there should be an unforeseen complication, in my opinion Dr. Fisher would not have the compassion it takes to treat you as a human. read more

Not a plastic surgeon I'd recommend to anyone especially now that his pricing is three times higher than his original fees. I use to love his nurse Tina for injectables. Garth is more legendary or well-branded, than really- skilled. If your looking for breasts and want really large ones I would go to Pousti in San Diego and I can guarantee he'll do a better job. For other things I'd try my angels: Dr. Baxter in Seattle, or Stephen Teitelbaum or Grant Stevens (both are exceptionally skilled and in L.A. ) Teitelbaum is definitely my L.A. favorite, but you have to want a conservative outcome AND NOT A Super -large size because he wont agree to it for any price.. I had Fisher do a breast augmentation for me in 2000, and the result was average or average +! I recently called Dr. Fisher's office manager, Bonnie, to schedule a new consult and found that his fees had increased tremendously -ie. $500 consult fee and 25k for breast revision. I'm not at all a fan of bargain surgery or going to low- cost plastic surgeon's, just for the pricing. You generally get what you pay for in this World. Still, I am not sure why anyone would go to Dr. F for surgery given his outrageous out- of- market pricing. The only way I can imagine someone choosing Dr.F as their surgeon, is if they didn't speak English or understand the exchange rate of a dollar, weren't very informed ABOUT AESTHETICS AND PLASTIC SURGEON'S available, other than info from name -droppers , or they ARE THE TYPE of people who buy things from expensive stores, and leave the tags on for others to see. I just received a gift certificate for services at his office. I really don't want to go. I had a consultation with him about 12 years ago in my early fiftys for a face lift. He was so rude and unkind. He took a pencil and eraser side pushed up the skin on my face and said there is so much to lift. It is so untrue. I am now sixty six , opted not to have surgery and look great for my age. He also said my nose was too masculine and need to be made more feminine. I have had plastic surgeons like Raj Kanodia tell me my nose was great and shouldn't be touched When he was finished he sent me to the financial office and she told me it would be $29,000. DO NOT GO HERE. This review is for Dr. Fisher's Biomed Spa. I recently went in for my first ever botox treatment and filler injection. I bought the treatment through an online promotion that talked up the doctor and his qualifications (and even called the office to make sure I was going to get to talk to him) so I was more than a little surprised when I showed up and they informed me that a nurse was going to do the procedure. They wouldn't offer me a refund and after a lot of reassurance I decided to go with their most experienced nurse. What a mistake!!! I am in my early 30s and don't need much work. Who knew that five minutes could ruin my face. I walked out of there with completely lopsided eyebrows. They were so bad that every one of my friends and everyone in my office noticed. When I looked surprised one eyebrow ended up in the middle of my forehead, while the other one didn't move. I called the office and they said that I had to wait a week to let everything settle in and if it didn't even out (which it didn't) I could come back in to get it fixed. On the second visit, they attempted to fix my eyebrows. While there was an improvement after the visit, it still looked pretty bad. A week and a half later (still with a screwed up face), I decided to go to another doctor (Dr. Jessica Wu in Brentwood...she does all the celebrities and is AMAZING) to fix their horrible work. This was the worst three weeks of my life...I've never met Dr. Fisher and I'm sure he is as amazing as everyone says he is...but his spa and the staff are incompetent. STAY AWAY!!!! read more

Walking into Dr. Fishers office, was the single best decision I have ever made. I have never been so happy! What a difference he made in my life, with a simple rhinoplasty. I consulted with every top doctor in Beverly Hills. I took my time. I never felt comfortable with any of them, but when I met Dr. Fisher, I just knew I found my doctor. He is simply the best. Professional, extremely kind, patient, he takes his time. He answeres all your questions and discusses any concerns you have with you. Other doctors made me feel like they were giving me some robotic sales pitch, or had better things to do when I consulted with them. All the staff in Dr. Fishers office are just amazing. Planning surgery was a piece of cake thanks to Bonnie. She is a doll and made me feel so comfortable and take care of. I had waited until now to go through with my rhinoplasty simply because of the fear of not loving my result. Dr. Fisher went above and beyond my expectations. Dr. Fisher is an amazing surgeon with a friendly and talented staff! I was referred to him by another happy customer and he did my breast augmentation. I was extremely happy with the results and have sent many of my friends to him as a result. Yes, he's expensive, but when it comes to altering your body do you really want to be cheap? No. If you want generic and fake looking cosmetic surgery then he's not the guy for you. Dr Fisher is tasteful and takes pride in doing the very best work that he can do. Essentially, all of his customers are walking advertisements so why would he want to do anything less than the best? I am also a huge fan of the bio med spa and his skin care line (cell Ceuticals). I have gotten facials at the spa and my friend received a lip injection. My friend was very worried about her lip looking fake and the staff did a great job at giving her just what she wanted. I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Fisher's Med Spa staff. This review is specific towards Chanel's poor quality of customer service. I feel empathy for her because I can't imagine that it feels good to operate with such poor business integrity. I paid for a $600 spa treatment under the condition that I could split the treatment between 2 sessions within 6 months. When I returned for my second appointment, I was told by Chanel that the nurse no longer works there and she was unwilling to "honor" the prior agreement nor the fact that I paid full price to only receive half a treatment. Chanel started attempting to bargain with me, asking how much I was willing to pay for another service. She went in and out of the room coming back with more proposed costs, which included a maximum offer of 20% off a full price treatment. There was no regard for the fact that I already fully paid and she refused to honor the agreement nor provide a refund. I consider this a very dishonest way to conduct business, and I later heard from other clients that Chanel did the same thing to them. I've never been treated so poorly by a customer service staff. I highly recommend that you spend your money elsewhere as I do not support a business with low moral integrity. I learned a valuable lesson not to pay in advance without a written agreement. read more

Just noticed that this guy is still being touted as a top breast surgeon on GOOP's Guide to Cosmetic Surgeons and though my breast surgery was performed by him several years ago (and undone by another surgeon 3 years later) I can hardly believe he is still on any kind of "best" list. Read a few other 1 star reviews before writing this and the experiences of those women were more in line with mine. Be forewarned, ladies... if you're okay with regularly waiting in a lobby an hour or more (without apology) for a scheduled appointment, or with not being heard about what you want and possibly getting something else (I mean he is a "great" surgeon after all. Who knows what's best for your body more than he does? Uh, YOU perhaps?) and then leaving you with a surgery that you spend thousands of dollars on, only to have it undone later for thousands more by someone else (I chose to spend more money for him not to do it), then by all means, see Garth Fisher.
