I couldn't recommend this office enough; I wish they saw adults! We brought my 2 year old here today for his first appt. and had the best experience from start to finish. I was so worried about bringing him to the dentist and was putting it off and I wish I had brought him here sooner! The staff was so friendly, both over the phone while making the appt. and while we were there. The office was in a great location, had plenty of parking and was beautiful. We were greeted with his name on the welcome sign, which was so sweet, and left with so many goodies. I can't wait to bring him back in 6 months! read more

I made an appt for my 2 toddlers. One child was excited to go and the other one was so scared and traumatized by previous doctors. From the moment we walked into the office we were greeted with a big smile. I loved that they had a welcome sign with my kids name on it. The arcade room is a huge plus and is how I was able to get my scared kid excited about the visit. We were taken to the back to get their teeth cleaned very promptly. The staff cleaning my babies teeth were so kind and happy and positive. It made me so relieved to know my kids were in good hands. We will definitely be back. My son is now 9. He regularly asks when he gets to go to the dentist, he LOVES Dr. Smith's office. Their whole strategy of making kids comfortable from the very first visit has paid off and clearly works. The dentist has never been a scary place for us. I've asked Dr Smith several times if he'll take adult patients (I'm petrified of the dentist) but he says he's committed to pediatric dentistry . Oh well. My son needed to be seen on an Urgent basis and i was able to get him in for a same day appointment. We waited about two minutes to be seen and they took x-rays as soon as he went back, the dental assistant was so sweet and the Dr. came in within ten minutes of my son sitting in the chair. Dr. Smith was very knowledgeable about my sons dental trauma and we were out of there within twenty minutes. The office was set up nicely to keep kids distracted and the staff seemed great. I have since scheduled new patient exams for both of my children. Dr. Smith is definitely our new dentist. read more

Our insurance just changed so we switched to Dr Smith for my 4 yr old. What a clean and fun waiting room for the kids. The staff was lovely and very kind. Kristin cleaned my sons teeth and she was wonderful as well. Even gave my 2 year old that was with us a toy and toothbrush. Dr Smith is warm and friendly and spent some time talking with him. I called and within minutes they had my daughter scheduled for a same day appointment. I had an extremely nervous child when it comes to the dentist and they really worked hard to make her feel comfortable. They included my daughter in making decisions so she felt that she was part of the process instead of having the process done to her. Just got back from a dental procedure for my son and I have to say that I always leave so impressed with how well they interact with kids. I want to give a shout out specifically to Jahniqua (forgive me if I'm spelling your name incorrectly) and Dr Jenny. My son has anxiety, and Jahniqua was so great at quelling my son's fears. She explained all her tools, shared each step of the process, and always reassured my son with how wonderful he was doing. After the procedure, he told me she made him feel "safe" and that's a huge thing for us. He also always enjoys Dr Jenny's singing as a distraction from all the tool noises. Thank you!! read more

This was my daughter Brielle's first dental visit. She's my first and only child so I'd consider myself a nervous mom for sure. I was expecting the worst and didn't think it would be a successful visit because doctor visits are always super challenging and Brielle is normally really shy, and freaks out when anyone touches her. I was SO IMPRESSED with the way Cheyenne worked with her! She is nothing short of amazing and Brielle let her do the full cleaning, AND X-Rays! I could not believe how well the visit went and can't stop raving about them to my friends and family! Everyone in the office was amazing from the moment we stepped in, and Dr. Smith was so calm and reassuring. Hands down the best experience, and I'm not usually the type to leave reviews! I was very nervous about taking my son for his first dental visit but the staff and Dr. Smith made his visit easy and fun. I am so grateful to everyone for making his visit special, we even walked in and saw his name on the board welcoming him. They made a huge difference for us and spent a lot of time answering questions and making my son feel welcome. We are new to the area so when my son had a toothache, I needed to find a dentist quick. Dr. Smith was very nice and explained everything in great detail regarding my sons treatment. My son is scared of the dentist but the staff made him comfortable and he did not experience any pain afterwards. This practice is out of network for my insurance, which I did not have previous experience with. Atia, the office manager, took the time to call me and explain in detail how my reimbursement works. This office was beautiful! Beautifully painted ocean and sea life in the exam rooms as well as amazing set up in the lobby that excites the kids! They have a movie going in the lobby with cute little kid chairs and then an electronics section with 2 iPads and some arcade games! I love that they had a board on the front desk saying welcome to the new patients with the new patients names! It felt very personal and special! The front desk receptionist was kind and easy going. The kids got called back and we went through a small door almost like the movie Willy Wonka with the tiny doors for the Oompa Loompas, which was also a cool experience for the kiddos! They got to pick which movie they wanted to watch out of three options. They got their teeth cleaned, X-rays and a fluoride treatment and the doctor came in at the end. He goes over the X-rays and exams their teeth. The assistants were great, always made sure the kids were comfortable and even let me son take a break during the X-rays as he got a little overwhelmed. They got dental care goodie bags with a golden coin to redeem a prize! As we checked out, the kids were given tshirts which was unexpected but very nice! I almost wanted one myself haha! This is more about the billing department/practices than about Dr. Smith, but there are some serious issues with their billing department. I've asked them several times to contact me via email to pay my bill and they just send out paper invoices and send them to the wrong address. Then I get collection notices. Would be much simpler if they could provide a way to get notification online and pay online, but I just have to call in every time, get placed on hold, and pay that way. read more
