Great customer service and prompt delivery! I needed to send Thank You flowers a few days before Valentine's Day. My company has a discount with 1800 but because it was VD, delivery was going to be 2 weeks (!) later. I looked up neighborhood flower shops here on Yelp, found Daniela's and read all the positive reviews, and purchased an arrangement via their website. That evening, someone called to let me know what I chose wasn't in season, and she helped me choose something comparable. Plus they confirmed my credit card information; I like this security feature! I live in California and volunteered to assist a family member, that had lost their young son with a casket spray. The funeral was being held in New York. The funeral home recommended a couple of florists and I chose this florist because it was near the funeral home. The cost of the spray was over $300. Not a problem. On the day of the service I get a picture from the family showing the flowers with a ribbon showing my name painted in gold as the sender. I hit the roof. Let's just say I did not handle what a saw well. I called Daniela's and I was told that a ribbon with the message was the way it was done. Sending a card with a casket spray was never done. I thought, what a load of crap. I said, it was my understanding that a card would be included to let the family know the casket spray was from me. Not a ribbon broadcasting that the flowers were from me. Here is the problem Daniela's sees putting a message on a ribbon as the norm not the exception. What really set me off was their attempt to justify such a tacky display at one of the most horrific times in a family's life. Daniel's thought sending a card with the flowers was something unusual, but a gold sparkling message on a ribbon wrapped around the casket spray was normal. As I stated I didn't handle the situation well, and had a few choice words for them. The standard should be sending a message to the deceased family on a card, not written in gold on a ribbon attached to the flowers. It blows me away that this florist, just didn't see how foolish their thinking is on this issue. So they get a 2 stars for not having the insight to ask customers do you want to ribbon wrapped around your casket spray with your message or should we send a card to the funeral home that can be passed on to the family. It's unfortunate when owner's get so closed off in their thinking that they miss the small things that keep customers coming back. read more

Awful. The arrangement was sloopy LIKE A BIG BLOB.. you can tell it was made in a rush, the flowers were NOT fresh. Most flowers were missing leaves and discolored and they were uneven.. one side had more white flowers than the other. Anyways, I took it upon myself to call the business explaining the situation and they really didnt say much just "OK". (Worst customer service) I was so dissapointed because it was a thoughtful gift and then it became a problem because I knew how expensive it was and the shop didn't deliever what they were advertising. I looked online at their website and what I received was the complete OPPOSITE! It looked completely different. These pictures dont justify how awful they really are and the lack of effort put into it. I wrote this review in hopes that I can help someone else save their money. I love the folks here and have almost always been so happy with my purchases. The ponytail palm I bought from them when I moved into my new apartment 4.5 years ago is doing well. Last year I bought a lot of my window box plants from them and they did beautifully all summer. I will say that the prices sometimes do feel a bit steep, particularly for the cut flowers. Staff was nice and knowledgeable and patient with my dumb-ass and probably repetitive questions about plants (dont want to kill the poor things). I even came in with my own pot that I wanted use (matched the decor to my apartment) and they even potted the plant for me. Best flower shop in the neighborhood! The staff are friendly and great at helping to make decisions. They can make a few flower stems turn into a gorgeous bouquet, and their selection of fresh flowers is incredible. Plus, the leaves are trimmed off all stems so you can put them straight into a vase, no extra work required (unlike grocery store bouquets). All of this, and their prices can't be beat. I bought a fig tree, I spent almost $400 and the plant had mold, I was told by sales person the black spots on leaves were normal but leaves just never got better and instead got worse, the black spots spread all over the plant and when I came back to talk to manager, the "manager" or daughter of owner couldn't be more rude. She was vulgar, offensive and just plain rude. She screamed and kicked me out of store unwilling to even listen to my consent. Gross behavior all around. DO NOT come to this place! Great plant selection with very reasonable pricing. Got a beautiful, healthy Christmas cactus, two medium-sized succulents and a medium sized fern for just over $50. They had a great selection of little succulents and other small plants for $6 that I only resisted because I don't have the pots for them yet ;) There was also a lovely variety of bouquets on display for $6. I used to lived in the neighborhood about 3 years ago and I was a regular at this shop I definitely recommend the shop but I'm writing this review because I'm a bit unhappy I've bought multiple flower arrangement in different flower shops and this shop used to be my go to when I was in the neighborhood I recently lost my friend and I wanted a nice and very special arrangement the arrangement looked beautiful but there was two things I didn't appreciate and one thing they should take into consideration specially when they make a sympathy arrangement because grief it's a very indescribable feeling my ride to the memorial was an hour and a half away by the time I got to the memorial the Angel couldn't stay in its place by just motion from the car so it was just put there I fixed the problem second problem I had and I didn't realized at first is that it wasn't even put on a vase it was just a paper box wrapped on thin colored paper never have I ever bought a 136 dollar arrangement on a box based and it had absorbed all the water by the end of the reunion so it is disappointing. read more

Terrible customer service!! I placed an order early in the week for a bouquet to be delivered on Mother's Day. I received a confirmation email and called Friday to inquire if there was a way to track my order. The woman who answered the phone informed me that my order had been canceled! I received zero notification and it was very upsetting that it took me calling to find this out. The woman kept saying I should have received a cancellation email and when I told her I did not, she responded with "Well you should have gotten one." She was rude, indifferent, and very unprofessional. What kind of business cancels an order - a Mother's Day order - without any kind of notification?? And then shows no remorse or empathy? She didn't even try to make things right and the best part - SHE COULDN'T EVEN TELL ME WHY MY ORDER WAS CANCELED! I was given no reason at all and now this leaves little to no time to place another order elsewhere. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Shame on them for treating customers this way during pandemic times. Please save your money and spend it at another local business!! read more
