She was great, she knew how to work with curly hair and even how to style it (which I can't say is true for many other hair stylists). I came out really happy with how my hair felt and looked. Before she started she did offer to do a "special" haircut for me for curly hair which was double the price. I do appreciate that she warned me about the price but just wish there was more explanation of this special haircut. If I will spend double the price for something I would like to understand why. In any case, I really liked her so I may do it in the future but for this time I just stuck with the normal haircut. Will be coming back.

Cathleen at the front desk worked her magic and was able to squeeze me in. Despite my disappointment resulting in a bit of a salty attitude Cathleen was very professional and kept her smile all the while making accommodations for me. Not many in the customer service industry offer that level of true customer experience as she did. The owner gave such great advice on how to properly maintain my hair (I have a double processed balayage). She went above and beyond to ensure that she understood exactly what kind of hairstyle I wanted. And she clearly communicated what my best options were in order to maintain the health of my hair. She was very knowledgeable and very apt to educate me on best hair care practices. If you work a typical 8am - 5pm and are only available late evenings and weekends (like my schedule), you need to schedule an appointment way in advance. I kept telling her I do not pluck my brows (they are blonde and already thin) and she insisted I did this to myself. She did this for 15 minutes and then I had to sit there and feel awkward while she did the rest of my makeup. Insisted I buy an $80 brow serum because I "ruined" my brows. Insisted I make a follow up appt to try to "fix" my eyebrows. I felt horrible the rest of the session. She had slim color options, supplies were NOT clean (brushes were visible soiled), no use of sanitation agents. Obviously canceled future makeup services but left with my self esteem destroyed months later. This makeup service is only adequate if you're 75 years old with no standards or understanding of modern day makeup and sanitation practices.
