I had another company come look at the problem 2.5 weeks ago. I called them in the morning and the showed up a couple hours later. After looking at my HVAC, they diagnose the problem as poor air flow due to a dirty air filter. There was a fine white powder on the filter which made it hard to see the dirt. The white powder is a result of using a ultra sonic humidifier with tap water. They suggest to change the filter more often (every 30 days) and buy a different brand filter with a MERV 8 or 10 rating.

The technician spent over an hour documenting the system and doing maintenance tasks. The documentation took a lot of the time since he took photos of every part so the next visit the state can be compared.
