Best thing I ever did. Great customer service, product being held for me. It was just as lovely in person as on line. I purchased a pearl necklaces and they end up selling me a fake pearls necklaces , I ask the employee if they were real she falsely said yes, days later I research the pearls and they were fake. I was very upset when I noticed the pearls were pealing off. I read the policy that Daniel's is please to offer a 10 day money back and they refused to do there own policy, they refused to give me my money back, I was force to get something else, even though I when before the 10 days. Adamaris was an absolute delight! Despite being preoccupied, she greeted me right away, making me feel seen and welcomed. Her sweetness and hospitality made my visit feel truly luxurious. We picked out a stunning rope gold necklace that I'm having cut into a choker, and I also bought my wife a couple of beautiful pairs of earrings. Trash... do not go here if you are in need of a piece of jewelry for a special occasion. I came here and was helped by May. I explained how I was looking for something for my partner & needed it quite quickly as we are going on vacation. I seen a ring online, and they had the same in stock but some reason it was $500 more. So they offered to ship in the ring I seen online. They advised me it would be "overnighted". Do y'all know that it has been over 2 weeks and they have not so much as called me to let me know it arrived let alone called me to advise that it hadn't come yet. I've called 3x and they told me it hadn't arrived and that they would call once it has. They completely dropped the ball. Which in this business, you need to be prompt and punctual seeing as people plan things like, I don't know, ENGAGEMENTS around their word!!!! Don't come here. Shitty customer service. Super sad cos I really like this place and have bought multiple items with them costing over 4500$ and I opened up a Daniels card and was told NO INTEREST THE FIRST YEAR! I wanted to pay in cash and she kept pushing me to get a card with "no interest" little did I know it's DEFERRED INTEREST after a year! I was charged almost 700$ after my card was almost paid off after the year mark was up for deferred interest. The company they go thru deferred the interest on what I originally spent not on what was left on the card. Obviously nothing I can do now. Do not trust them!!!! Horrible business pushy desperate sales people with no knowledge on how they're financing works! I've bought a lot of jewelry in my time and only came here cause my boyfriend really liked them. I brought a watch to them for repair and absolutely zero things happened to it. They took my watch, and said that their repair shop would need to hold it for a week to make sure it could accurately diagnose a problem. I figured that was fair because the problem I had was intermittent, so there was no guarantee they would be able to see the issue right away. The diagnosis would be free, and we would discuss repair costs depending on what the repairman would find A week goes by and they leave me a message that my watch is ready to pickup. I go in and they hand over my watch and tell me " Oh, it looks like you don't owe us anything." Yeah, cool, but what about the diagnosis? What did the repairman find? "Oh, yeah, nobody wrote anything down so I don't know."So what was the point of you having my watch for a week and a half? " Well, we could call the repairman and ask, but I don't think he would remember this exact piece." The only thing keeping me from blowing my top was the fact that this didn't cost me anything. They may as well have just left the watch in a drawer for a week and a half for all the good it did me. There was literally no benefit to me bringing this to them. In fact I slightly feel that they owe me $50 for this cheap Timex I bought off Amazon to last me while my regular watch was in their shop. However, that's kinda ridiculous, but I was still really frustrated. I left, with no intent to ever give them any more business. I don't know the quality of what they sell. They might have nice things. The only redeeming quality of theirs is that they are very personable and seemed to actually want to help...too bad they're inept. read more

This business doesn't even deserve the 1 star rating that I gave them. My kids, who are 19 and 26 and both live in the Bay area, received jewelry for Christmas from their grandfather. He told them they were welcome to exchange it if they preferred something else. Since neither of them really wear neck jewelry, they decided to exchange it. On December 29th, I went with them to the store in Hayward, because that was the closet location for them. We walked in and we were greeted by a young lady. I told her that they had received jewelry for Christmas and they wanted to exchange it for something else. She asked if we had a receipt, and I told her no, it was a Christmas gift. She said that she couldn't exchange it without a receipt but I could speak to a manager. Shortly after, another young lady came to assist us, we told her that we wanted to exchange for something else. She also asked if we had a receipt, we said no, that's why she was sent to us. She then said she was going to talk to another manager. (We thought she was the manager). Then an older gentleman came out and asked could he help us? We explained the same thing again to him. He told me that he could not do anything without a receipt. Mind you that the items were still in their boxes with the tags still on them and they all agreed that it was their merchandise, but still refused to let them exchange, without a receipt, 4 days after Christmas. By this time we are upset and called my father, who had purchased the items. He told me to tell them that they should be able to look up the information because he had put it on his account that he had opened. Sure enough, they had found it but said that they would need him there to do the transaction! Extremely frustrated now, I told them that they could just take their merchandise back and credit his account because after all of this, we no longer wanted their jewelry. Then, we were told that they couldn't credit his account because it had been past 10 days! We walked out of the store and called customer service. I spoke with 3 different people and repeated the same story 3 different times. Then I was told that they would have someone call me within 48 hours, (which I never received). My daughter went back in the store to see if they would give them a gift card, or store credit so they could find something at a later date and in a different store where we wouldn't be treated as if we were some sort of criminals. When she walked in another lady approached her and asked if she could help. She told her the same story and she repeated the same mantra back to her that the previous sale associates had. We left. My father called the Fresno store, where he purchased the items and was told that we could exchange it there with no problem and that we had until the 10th of January to do so. He also received a phone call from a gentleman whose name is Shawn, who said to call him if I had any problems returning it. I came back home (I live about 35 miles south of Fresno) on Sunday, January 3rd. I stopped on my way home in Fresno to exchange the jewelry for my kids. They seemed to be aware of the situation and offered to help. Then the young lady helping me, asked was I going to make an even exchange? I told her that that was the plan, to get as close as possible. Then she went into the back. I could already tell that an issue was ensuing, so I informed her that Shawn said to call him if there was a problem. She asked who was Shawn? I told her I didn't know but I assumed they would, but they didn't. So, I called Shawn myself. Well, Shawn wasn't working that day! The girl then came out and told me that I couldn't exchange it without a receipt, because now it had been past 30 days and although they don't allow exchanges past 30 days, they would make an exception, if I had the RECEIPT!!!! I walked out and called my father. He showed up at the store and I told him that he could deal with this, because I was tired of dealing with these ridiculous people and this ridiculous company! What company has such an absolutely nonsensical policy of exchanges right after Christmas???!! I will never walk into a Daniel's Jewelry store again to purchase any of their overpriced, chain store,cheap jewelry again. I will only deal with reputable jewelers and I would advise anyone else out there to do the same! read more

My husband went in to pay off an item and the store lost the receipt fpr one of the payments. The two female associates then called my husband a liar and demanded he show the receipt. He then got upset and the younger associate began verbally assaulting my husband who is a veteran and then they refused to let him payoff the item. He explained that this was a present for his pregnant wife and they continued to be disrepectful and refused to help him. He even said screw the last payment and just let me payoff the amount in your system and they refused. After i walked in the young one was sitting there yelling and clapping her hands at him talking about being a legit business. Completely ridiculous customer service!
