She did not try to listen and applied a very antagonizing approach that made her own sale assistant literally shake, my daughter cry and my husband felt like dirt. I was told that the earliest appointment to do that at the Landmark Store was 7 weeks away. I was told it would be faster 'to ship it into the store' without speaking to anyone about the specific engraving job I want done. This used to be a simple process of going into the store, speaking to my regular salesperson, and getting the job done. It has now turned itself into a nightmare. During the finalization of my purchase, which was upwards of $30k for the set, I was told by Courtney we would receive box seats to the SF giants game as a thank you for our purchase. To this day, that has not happened. 3 years later.. Also, we have friends that have Tiffany wedding sets where they receive Xmas ornaments every year from their Tiffany contact. I went to Tiffany Walnut Creek around 1:15 on December 26. I have a wedding ring that I bought last year that was supposed to be size 6.5 but when I got married in July I realized it was too tight. It did not feel the same as the sizer did. I went to customer service and she measured in front of me and said it is measuring between a size 6 and 6.5 so it is not a size 6.5 like I bought. Then she took my receipt and went to the back, came back and said that it is a 6.5 and I they can't do anything. She said they can't resize it because of the type of ring and they can't exchange it because I waited too long. But the way she said it was that it was all my fault. She was asking me why I didn't go right away and said I should have. She said "just wear it around your neck or something." Excuse me?! She also said it may fit better when I lose weight. Thanks for that... Now I don't trust whether the size was right or not but it definitely was not the same size as when I was sized when I bought the ring. I got married in July, got pregnant right after, and I didn't want to go out because I was paranoid about the coronavirus. But it was still my fault that it doesn't fit. read more

She didn't care to find a solution to help process an online order pickup and identity verification (using my CA DL) due to a minor mistake in my wife's online order purchase form (outdated landline phone#). She simply refused to be helpful and understand the situation. Luckily the store manager showed up, understood the situation, and found a way to save the sale. I was on the verge of canceling my jewelry and leaving the store because of this negative customer experience. Avoid this store or at least this sales associate!! A great experience . I'm not a regular at a store like this. On December 20 I did some last-minute shopping. My wife had a very twisted and unwearable necklace and I decided to get her a new one a little bit heavier weight. I was very pleasantly welcomed in the store. I could've easily have felt a little bit out of place. The staff member who helped me was absolutely kind, wonderful, thoughtful, and all the way wasn't making a huge purchase. I felt no less important than anyone else . They untangled the necklace for me and clean the pendant that was on it for no charge and my purchase was a very simple silver chain. I still hit my deadline for Christmas and was able to pick up the clean necklace and the new one with it installed correctly on the Saturday before Christmas I will put Tiffany Company on my list of places to shop for future gifts for my wife, mainly because of the staff attention to detail and being very pleasant, helpful and kind. read more

We had a nice visit here for a repair and cleaning! I have no basis of comparison, as this was my first Tiffany experience, but it was pleasant. I had a repair appt. for 4 p.m. but it was so hot out; we arrived early at 330 to escape the sunlight. They were super nice and took us right away. We were helped by a nice younger women. I'll never go to this location again and beware if you bring your jewelry here to get the cleaning service. On 08/14/2023, a Monday mid afternoon I brought two rings (love ring & 1837 Narrow ring) and one necklace (double heart Tiffany blue pendant) to get cleaned and a bracelet (Heart Tag Bracelet w/Diamond) for repair. The sales associate, B. Williams Pickens was amazing. She made me feel welcome and offered me water. Everything went smoothly when dropping off my jewelry. On 08/16/2023 I stopped by to pick up the jewelry that was done getting cleaned. This is where the bad experience begins. I walked in & a sales associate gathered all my jewelry for me. They looked good & she placed them in a Tiffany cloth baggy. As soon as I got into my car my instinct was to put my jewelry back on prior to my departure. I'm glad I listened because why was the love ring TOO big. I went inside & asked the lady to check what size Love ring I bought. She stated a size 5, I had her check the love ring they gave me and she said it is a size 7. HOW?? I was told jewelry expands over time. Great! So how does jewelry expand two sizes in two days? One size a day? Interesting, especially since I bought the ring I never removed it! That was one of the reasons why I bought it because I couldn't remove it. I even told them they can rewind the cameras to view when I removed the ring from my finger to hand to the sales associate for cleaning. Anyway, she grabbed Nicole Soong (I THINK. According to my receipt) but the lady is white with blonde hair, maybe she was the manager? She told me they have over 100 clients that come in to get their jewelry cleaned. If you have 100 clients and you lost/misplaced my ring, maybe the system should change to ensure this never happens again. She claimed she checked through their records and no one else brought a love ring. She told me she can resize the size 7 to a size 5, no thank you. I do not resize any jewelry of mine, I purchase based on it fitting me specifically. I wanted MY ring, not some randoms ring! She let me know she can just give me a brand new one size 5, it was too small to be put on & they didn't have a 5.5 in stock. She stated it can get mailed to the store & they can mail it to me. No thanks, you're probably just going to resize that 7. I asked to see the size 5 once again. I have tiny fingers but big knuckles. I shoved it past my knuckle & it fit perfectly. I removed the tag & handed it to her stating I would like to stick with this ring. I appreciated how they handled the situation at the end and gave me a resolution that I agreed with. But if they did mess up & switched the ring by accident own up to it & admit your faults. I feel the fact I came with receipts (pictures of me wearing the ring, time stamps, etc) that helped my case proving that was indeed NOT my ring. I want them to learn from this experience & change the process they currently have in place. Now I'm iffy to even trust Tiffany & Co with cleaning my jewelry. Clearly their system is broken & needs to be fixed. Maybe NOT put the same jewelry in the cleaner at the same time? Maybe photocopy all jewelry a client brings in to ensure it is their jewelry & provide the client a copy? Maybe check the ring sizes? Maybe be more careful? I had a terrible experience at this location. Be aware that if you purchase an engagement ring, the diamond might pop out as it did for me with less than 3 years of light wear. They will not take any real responsibility and they will charge you a lot of money to put the diamond back on. Also, they will say that "this never happens... but when it does prongs are bent" which was not the case. They managed to blame me for the tilt of the entire head. Sent in my bracelet to have a palm tree charm fixed. It comes back with my lollipop charm MISSING the white fill. The charm was in perfect condition when dropped off. It wasn't checked in the store because the person who gave back the bracelet said we could keep the little charm covers on to keep it shiny. I attached pictures to show what it looked like and what it looks like now. I can't believe someone at Tiffany's would ruin my charm and then give it back to me like I wouldn't notice. This is not what I expect from such a high-end jewelry store. Now, I will have to bring it back and wait another 2 weeks for it to be fixed. I was planning on buying a mother's day gift at Tiffany's but now I'm questioning whether these products are worth the price. Last time I sent my bracelet in for repair, they only fixed half of it and it had to be sent back to complete the repair that I had to pay for, but this time, they broke something that wasn't even damaged in the first place. Honestly I haven't been impressed with Tiffany's for a long time but for me it's been customer service that has been set back. I don't know the woman's name but she has helped me two separate occasions and she is the opposite of helpful it took her about 35-40 minutes to check me out which normally I wouldn't mind except for we had a reservation. Also no other customers so no reason to take that long. I don't think English is her first language as she seem to struggle to understand what i was saying. She couldn't find my account so I had to fill out a form new account form on an iPad. Only for her to then find my original account. The necklace i wanted wasn't in stock so when I asked if she could make a note to call me when it arrived as shipping wouldn't arrive in time she said no i would have to just call in and see if it has arrived. Or check my email. So as a luxury company I thought that was pretty low rent customer service. The necklace was standard simple silver and cost about $450. For a thin strand of silver hanging from a thin chain. It was not thick or any bit worth that price point for silver but your paying for the name. The return policy is ruff 14 days if you dont wear it 30 days for in store credit. So basically if you wore it once you need to get store credit instead of a refund. All and all not impressive customer service. Store policy or design. Went back with my best friend looking for a ring for their husband and it was the same lady. She told us she had the ring we were looking... yet the ring she brought out was a completely different style. Then 10 min later brought out other options that were nothing like the ring or metal they asked for. So when we mentioned we needed the ring by Tuesday for the anniversary she continued showing us other options when we settled on a style i asked again if she would he able to get it by Tuesday in the size needed and then she said no not by Tuesday. I'm a black woman. Today was a hectic day. I went to this store in a hurry to get a gift for my sister in law and then rush to go pick my child up at daycare. I was wearing leggings, an old t-shirt I cut up at home, and didn't have time to brush my hair. I looked like a hot mess. As a black person, I'm used to being followed by security in stores, have people hold tight to their purses when passing by me on the streets... So looking unkempt when leaving the house isn't ideal in general, especially when going to an upscale store in freaking walnut creek. But the service was excellent. It is with great regret that I am writing this letter as Tiffany and Co. has wasted enough of my time in an attempt to purchase a bracelet to mark my co-workers 40 years of service at our company. Initially we thought that Tiffany's is a top brand in the jewelry industry and if any company will deliver a beautiful piece of jewelry to mark this monumental occasion it would be Tiffany's, but we all were sadly mistaken and offered nothing but disappointments. On December 20, 2021 I placed order number online. The initial, the rep. was of great help and took all the details needed for the order including the important engraving detail. He assured me, what I had indicated, would be displayed on the bracelet and if not I would receive a call back. This was also reiterated as it was very important this was completed accurately for my co-workers retirement party. When the piece arrived on December 23, 2021 without any call I was sure that Tiffany's delivered the piece as requested given the caliber of customers Tiffany's serves I expected nothing less and was confident this was the case, so to make sure my co-worker had the coveted experience of receiving a personalized Tiffany gift in the infamous blue box I gave her the gift without unwrapping or checking it's accuracy. I just knew it would be the perfect moment. As we opened the retirement gift at her retirement party over Zoom, to see the disappointment on her face when the engraving was wrong was devastating. I immediately contacted Tiffany's on December 28, 2021 and spoke to a client advisor who had reassured me she would fix this error and get me a replacement bracelet mailed out to me. I also gave her several options if the initial engraving did not fit and she assured me again that they would call me if there were any problems. She wasn't as accommodating as I felt she should be as she didn't offer to compensate me for this inconvenience in some way so I asked to speak to a supervisor. The Supervisor refunded me the engraving fee and sent me two crystal glasses. Again with confidence I knew Tiffany's wouldn't make this mistake again, so I met up with my co worker and returned the original bracelet and waited for the replacement in the mail. It took longer than expected and when I called in and asked for a tracking number the Client Advisor provided me with the wrong tracking number from the original order. Eventually the replacement bracelet came and yet again the bracelet was wrong. I was livid by how much effort I had put into fixing this issue and for it to be wrong again I felt was just disrespectful. I contacted Tiffany's and spoke to another rep. and I asked if we could upgrade the piece to ensure the engraving would fit as the upgrade had a larger heart pendent. Initially he was nice and promised to call me back within an hour but after many hours later and not receiving a call back I called him. When I reached back out to the rep. and I was met with nothing but resistance. He stated I wouldn't be compensated in any way for this inconvenience and that all he could "frankly do" (his words) was to send us out the same replacement. Frustrated I just asked for my money back which never happened. I had to go into a store in Walnut Creek Ca where I spoke with a manager, Tina, that tired to unravel the mess. The transition was such a mess she had to pay me out some of my return in cash as the second item sent out somehow displayed a lower amount than I originally paid for it. Thank God for receipts! She reassured me my credit would arrive shortly on my original form of payment. Days went by and I never saw the charge back so I called Tina to inquire. She apologized and said she would call the corporate office and find out that was going on. Come to find out there was a glitch in the system that interferes with my credit back. I was promised my money back on 1/18/22 and it still hasn't arrived. I am overly devastated by this month long saga and will never purchase from Tiffany's again. My co-worker feels the same way as we have gotten nothing but upset from this purchase. What started out as a joyous celebration turned into a nightmare and waste of time. I'm only writing this letter in hopes that this is fixed for your future customers at Tiffany and Co. as no one deserves this type of customer service from any company. It's unfortunate that Tiffany doesn't value its customers and my time lost for this nightmare. I expected more from Tiffany's for all the disappointment and time wasted.
