Overall Experience is 4 stars and it would have been zero stars if it wasn't for Beth store manager at this location. Purchased a set of pearls from Daniel's Jewelers in The Antioch Mall for my wife last valentines, which was over 8 months ago! The bracelet out of the set I purchased needed to be altered, left it there to be altered, Covid happened, ok, 6 months later no response from Daniel's, no update, Daniel's Jewler's in Antioch closed down, and no one knows what happened to the bracelet that went in for alteration! Called customer service, NO HELP!!! A week later after contacting corporate, I get a call back from the previous store manager at the Antioch mall to explain what happened to the store and why it closed down and where I can find my bracelet, anyways, it's a long story! And the only reason I would be giving Daniel's a 4 star review is because of this amazing store manager Beth at the Vallejo location which followed up with me every week and finally helped resolve the situation and got me back the bracelet. By the way till today the bracelet hasn't been altered but Beth is calling me back this coming Thursday to confirm Alteration is complete and the bracelet is back at her store. We went to different places and Daniels one the jewelry store we went to in Vallejo. When my husband & I entered the store, we were greeted by not only one person but 3-4 people. I went to this store specifically for a necklace I found online, unfortunately the item was unavailable but Imelda, the store associate was very helpful in assisting me to place the order and offered me some other deals that they have going on in the store which helped me decide a better deal. I was able to get a free an Apple iPad too. I will never set foot in this store again, if someone gave me a gift card here, I would just throw it away. My wife lost a diamond on her engagement ring, I took it here and spoke with Lory, who was very friendly. They said the ring would be shipped out on Thursday and back next Thursday, I agreed. Thursday comes and they call and say that the ring has no prongs and if I would mind them gluing the diamond in, I said as long as it is secure that would be fine. The following Thursday comes (the original pick up day) comes and goes and I do not hear anything so i stop in there the following Monday or Tuesday and they said it didn't ship out when they said it would, well they said this after telling me it was returned to them and then shipped out the following Thursday (and then said they never said that when they just had less than a minute before) I asked when the ring would be done they said I would have it back Thursday (Today 3/3/2022) They called and I went to pick it up. Lory comes out from the back I ask how it turned out she said it was great as good as new. They proceeded to hand me the bag it was in and through the bag I could see where the diamond was replaced, i said this is horrible and I don't even have my glasses on. Lory and another lady working there looked at the ring and took it out of the bag and tells me that they cannot even see which one was replaced. I can hardly see without glasses, and I was not wearing them because of wearing a mask and can see it. I told them both that if they cannot see how bad it is to check their glasses. They said Well put your glasses on and it will look better. I said if it looks this bad when i cannot see I don't even want to put my glasses on to look at it. They said Well this is the best he could do. I then replied if this is his best, they need to contract out a new jeweler, I am sick to my stomach. I have to now take it somewhere else to repair their damage to the ring. I do not even know what to do at this moment, I took the ring home and immediately my wife was upset, without me even telling her the story, I guess both of us are blind. My husband and I we bought an earrings stud and they told us the diamond is certified with certification card and they did put everything in the paper bag. We came and checked the bag there's no certification card I called the place they said oh sorry and forgot they'll try to find it and call us back, next day came they called us back they said they made a mistake it's a premium diamond and there's no certification card but they said don't worry our diamonds are real. Purchased a ring from here paid 3k cash, jeweler was not in store to size ring. Manager told me she would provide me with a ring guard and I could bring the ring back for free sizing on Thursday when the jeweler was there. I came back on wed to drop it off. The ring was a 7 and I needed a size 6. The manager told me I could pay 70 45 per size after she told me it was free. If I would have know that I wouldn't have drove all the way to Vallejo. I could have gotten it sized closer to home. This store lost a good customer over 70 and a lie! Go to stores that keep there word and value customer relationships. read more

I went to Daniels Jewelers on February 10th, because my Anniversary and Valentines Day are lumped together. When I entered the store, the first thing I noticed was a Security Guard that was armed. I immediately smiled, because of all the smash and grabs that are taking place, it just provided an added bit of protection for the customer. I also thanked him for being present. When I started to look for jewelry, I was greeted by Mike. He was a new Salesperson whose been there for 3 months. There were also two other ladies behind the cou yet, one of whom I discovered was Beth. (Store Manager). I gave Mike a description of what I wanted and he patiently (I mean patiently) spe t time with me sorting through possibilities. For example, necklaces, earring and rings. Making a selection was difficult, because my wife does not like jewelry that "gawdy" in appearance. She likes nice, but simple pieces. Since I've been in sales for over 20 years, and I know how it feels to spend an abundant time with a customers, while more enter and exit, I felt compelled to let Mike know that I'm buying from him. After an hour and a half, I made a decision to purchase a ring that I was 50/50 on. As I reviewed the ring with Mike for pricing, I decided to take a 3rd lap around d the store. It was the best decision, because Mike showed me a tennis bracelet that went well with the earrings I had previously saw. Once I made my final selection, Mike got Beth involved to package both items together for the best out the door price, including tax. Beth (Store Manager) and especially Mike took excellent care of me. Most importantly, my wife was very pleased with both selections. There was no confusion about pricing, certification or types of stones being purchased. I had tons of questions and all were answered. ZERO STARS IF I COULD. I had purchased an Aquamarine ring from the Fairfield location for my mom's 53rd birthday and it was too big. She also said she'd rather have these earrings she's been eyeing from a different store. We walk in asking if we can get a refund and the woman, LORI, basically refused to give us a refund because it will "effect their sales" and to return it to the Fairfield location "out of respect". I've worked in sales so I understand but this specific location is so much closer to our house. ALSO YOU CAN NOT deny a customer's right to refund whether or not they purchased at your location or not! She also kept insisting my mom to open a credit line even after refusing to refund for us.
