This ramen place was delicious and I'm so happy we stopped on our travels to the Ark encounter! It was nice to get a hearty meal that was not just nutritious but SO flavorful. The only person who didn't love their meal is the one who got the curry shrimp and rice. I tried it and it was good, just not her thing. Spicy ramen and spicy beef was so good and MAN it was hot lol. Exactly what we paid for! The accidental perk was the amount of water I drank, I'm putting that towards my gallon a day requirement. The crab Rangoon was good but heavy on the cream cheese, I like it more 'crabby' but the dipping sauce they gave with it saved it. My son got the spicy ramen and I think asked for it extra sliced by mistake, the hostess saw him enjoying it but getting redder than Bob the Tomato and provided him extra broth to dilute it some. The takoyaki came out quick and was easily the best I've had in Lexington hot, soft inside, and packed with filling. I had the Spicy Miso Ramen, and it took me straight back to a bowl I loved in Fukuoka the broth was light but full of flavor. My husband got the Tantanmen, and he loved how rich and just spicy enough the broth was. Super satisfying. One thing my hubby pointed out is that this ramen didn't have any fishy taste that many of the ramens back in IL had. Saw this restaurant when we went to work out at Planet Fitness. It's right across the way. The Tantan Ramen was so delicious. The broth was amazing! So tasty. Absolutely delicious! Tucked away in a commercial neighborhood in Georgetown, I don't know that I would have stumbled across it. But our group was craving ramen or something different from the traditional food we'd be having over a holiday break, so this popped up as the place to be. Service was incredibly friendly, helpful, and quick. I don't think my water glass ever got halfway empty, they were quick to refill. Which was very helpful because I ordered the spicy ramen (normal heat level) - it was delicious but right at the top of my heat comfort level, so I drank a bunch of water! They also kindly offered forks if anyone would be more comfortable, which I appreciated because I have not quite figured out chopsticks yet.
