Avoid this jeweler. They are very unhelpful and dishonest. I took my watch there because I needed the latch fixed on the band. They said I would need a whole new watch. I took it to another jeweler who fixed the latch for $12 the same day. read more

They were so rude and without any authorization they damaged my jewelry when they gave me the estimate they went way over what they should have according to the 2nd opinion I got they tried to charge me for many things that were not necessary I would not recommend this place or ever trust them with my jewelry again read more

I took several watches in for battery installation. The staff was professional and friendly. When I retrieved my watches, I was told that one did not require a battery (no charge) and one just wouldn't start. I left it there so that the watchmaker could take a look at it. I just needed cleaning. They are honest and competent at Danielson's. I have ben there many times and have found the same quality of service. read more

I haven't purchased anything from this store but I did go in to see their engagement ring selection. I went in maybe 20 mins before closing and the young gal (owner's daughter) didn't make me feel rushed at all. She showed me just about everything they had, in the style I was looking for, and I thought it was all very nice. All but one ring I looked at was 14k gold . I was looking for Platinum but she said they could do custom. She offered a lot of information and education regarding selecting a diamond. It was extremely insightful even though I had already done a lot of homework. I was so impressed with the customer service. If we don't end up purchasing a ring from them we will definitely use them for other services like sizing, polishing or evaluation. I highly recommend checking them out. read more

Update: upon trying on my rolex, (and having a couple other people, who had tried it on in the past, do so again), we all agreed it was significantly smaller. Someone it was once quite loose on, can't even fit it. I hate to say this, but it's obvious links were stolen from it. Danielson has been my family's jeweler for as long as I can remember. The Danielson family has had their business in Redmond for years. Although my engagement ring came from my husband's family's jeweler in Bend, Oregon, Danielson resized it for us and also did our custom wedding bands. They made and re-made the wax molds many times to get mine juuuuuuust right and to fit perfectly with my engagement ring. All the work was done in house, and came out beautiful. I took my wedding ring in to be cleaned. They got it back to me a day early in like-new condition and only charged me $18! For that they thoroughly cleaned the ring & the stones, straightened the prongs, made it into a perfect circle again, and buffed out all the scratches. Yeah, I'm hard on jewelry! Like other reviewers, I've had appalling customer service from Danielson Jewelers. I bought an expensive watch from there, they're the only folks who've had the watch open (to change the battery from time to time) and this last time about a week after they changed the battery, I noticed the back loose and a piece of black rubber gasket hanging out. I took it back, they kept the watch for 2 weeks. Then over the period of the next month, the watch lost about 25 mins on two occasions. I took it back, explained everything, I thought they were keeping the watch to fix it but in fact they kept it for 10 days to monitor it. They saw no problem so they gave it back to me having done no work on it. So evidently they feel that a watch that can keep time for 10 days is the bar to clear. 11 days? Who cares, huh? Absolutely unacceptable, I will do no further business with this place. UPDATE: sure enough, several days after Danielson Jewelers returned the watch to me (after they'd wasted my time by simply keeping it under observation for 10 days instead of fixing it like they should have been doing) the watch had another episode this time stopping several hours previous to my noticing the issue. This $400 watch was fine before their most recent bungled attempt to change its battery. I now can't trust the watch at all. This is an incompetent, lazy, unprofessional, and irresponsible jeweler's. [further update a few weeks later: I can't depend on this watch now, it stops for periods so I have to double-check what it says with some other time source. Not happy at all with their customer service. They try to ignore you and think you will go away. My husband bought me a gorgeous diamond ring for an anniversary. Right from the get go we started having problems. The ring did not appraise for what we paid. Then I was told they couldn't clean it because the stones were loose. After a few years I started having to go regularly for loose stones in the setting and twice for prongs being broken and loosing the diamonds. I was told it was maintence issues. They would not do anything to rectify the problem. The owner even went as far as arguing with me. Very poor customer service. Would never go back and I hope you don't either. read more

Dale was honest and upfront about the actual value of our items, and coached us on best ways to get the most for what we have - even though it was not through them! I don't believe this place understands customer service. Not friendly when offering watch repair service. Called me to tell me my watch was ready after replacing the crystal. when I arrived the watch did not work at all none of the buttons worked. the lady working there told me I might need to read the manual to know how to operate. Very condescending and rude attitude. This is a watch I have worn for 14 years. I know how to use every feature of the watch and nothing worked the watch was broken. They offered for me to leave it with them for the watch repair guy could look at it again. This place likes to waste customers time and are not friendly very rude. The same woman called today to tell me the watch is ready. I asked are you sure because I already went there once and it wasn't. She told me if I want to I can come in on a day the watch repair guy is there but otherwise she would not test it for me while I'm on the phone to ensure me that the watch was repaired. stay away!!! read more

Unparalleled service ! Such wonderful ladies who welcome you in with a smile :) I had a custom engagement ring that my fiancé had done and I was worried about getting it resized as it was too big! We went to Danielson jewelers per recommendation from the original jeweler. I brought the ring in Saturday and got a call on Monday that it was ready!! when I tried it on again it was a perfect fit and was cleaned to sparkle oh so brightly. I like to support local business and so I took in my wedding ring and band to be sized. The grumpy troll woman who works there made rude comments about the shape the jewelry was in. I tried to chalk it up to her having a bad day but I refer to her as grumpy troll woman now because I just went to pick up my rings and all she could do was insult me more. I didn't bring my ticket and asked if I could show ID as I didn't know I was supposed to - "That's why we call it a claim ticket." Me, "I didn't know that's what you called it nor that I should bring it." Troll Woman, "We tell people on the phone." Me, "Well no one told me." It was as if she was trying to ruin my day and make me feel like an insignificant child with her evil eye and snide comments. What happened to customer service? I will not go back to this establishment as I don't like being treated in a less than respectful manner just because I don't look minted. read more
