This shop was recommended to me when we moved to the area. I had a Jeep Wrangler that I absolutely loved. I had built it the way I liked it, I had adventures in it, and I'd driven all over the country. Loved it. Back story, I had an Eaton Trutrac installed while living in El Paso, when I moved here it failed catastrophically. I took it to Danmark and they showed me that the part wasn't torqued or anything, it was just bouncing around in there. It also took out my ring and pinion. I ordered the parts and they put them in for me at a reasonable price. During that work, they confirmed my axle shafts and bearings were not affected. Shortly after installation we drove to Maryland. I had noticed a little dragging thunk noise around turns, specifically accelerating out of them. I brought it back to Danmark and they told me it was my axle bearings, which had been fine a few months prior. I bought the parts and had them install them. I guess they don't test drive because it was still clunking around turns when I took it home. I called Eaton and they told me the trutrac is kinda noisy so I cautiously moved on. Fast forward a few months and I haven't driven it much but the clunking had gotten so bad it felt like the whole back end was shifting with the clunk and it was nearly undriveable. In tears I got underneath determined to try and find out what it was and within minutes, I found that the track bar was not torqued down at all, in fact it was completely loose. So essentially, I would turn and my axle housing tried to stay straight. I told them this and I got "oh sorry. He's usually good about that stuff", never once offered to take a look or make anything right. Meanwhile, I know the problems that can occur from that loose track bar. It probably prematurely wore out my axle bearings, and I have no idea what damage was done to the brand new diff. I lost ALL confidence and trust in my jeep. I was terrified that something would go wrong. The shop had also done work on my engine, now I'm worried that wasn't done right. My husband did an oil change after them and they had rounded out my drain plug and torqued it on so tight that he needed a special tool to get it off. I gave up my Jeep today because Danmark destroyed my confidence in it. Every little noise, I swear it's driving worse since they did the work, clatters from hood after the engine work. I don't trust anything they did and that distrust lost me a rig that I built exactly the way I wanted it. I was going to keep it forever because I took amazing care of it. took our ford explorer to Danmark for vehicle diagnosis ...they returned car ...12hrs later check engine light back on ... Didn't fix the problem..That cost 1300, once back at shop wanted another 1700...for an issue which was not checked first time.. My family has come here many times.. We feel taken advantage of...RESPONSE was to waive fee next time we come .......They are good at small jobs,any major repair avoid them.... Peoples hard earned money is cherry picked by them....i personally hate when the customer is the problem bc you speak up. read more

don't go alone if your a woman they will take advantage, i went to get my brakes fixed and they damaged my bumper , gave me a number to someone that would fix it "for free due to the inconvenience" but the number did not work and it was not a real address, after i confronted them they acted like they had no clue who i was or what i was talking about . came back years later with a new car and their still rude and rush you away. don't know if it's because im african american but it definitely feels that way. read more

I've been going here for over 30 years. Most of the time I get my vehicle repaired here it is not done correctly and has tro be brought back multiple times to get it fixed right. In March of 2023 I took car in because it was mis firing. 1300 bucks to get fixed, which is reasonable. Took it back in January of 24. Same issue. They were going to charge me until I told them they already replaced the spark plugs and coils last time I was in. They said they would replace for free because it was under warranty. In May of 24, same exact thing. Car was mis firing yet again. Took it back up there. They refused to fix it. While it was up there I had them replace a tire. The tech broke 3 lugs off of the wheel. Rich (the owner) tried to tell me it was already like that when I brought it in.....it absolutely was not. Rich has always been good to me, but this lat time left a bad taste in my mouth. Im now using Charbonier Auto instead. read more

Customer service 10/10! I experienced car troubles while visiting from out of town. Was recommended Danmark by a mutual connection and couldn't be more greatful. While my car was beyond what could be done in house they recommended someone else that could help. Being stranded out of state, meant I had to book a flight home and they went as far as to offer me a ride to the airport. If you want an honest shop that will take care of your vehicle as if it was their own...this is it. They won't charge you for unnecessary repairs or take advantage of you. I have been taking my cars and referring people to Danmark for over Ten Years. I want to say for the past three years their service has been getting worse. They take no pride in their wor, I even feel as though they don't want to do complex work on your vehicles. Right now this will be the THIRD TIME in the past month that I am having to return my car for the SAME ISSUE! This is not safe, I have my children and grandbabies in my car with me. Right now I have to pay for a tow AGAINNN because the work they did;(EVEN AFTER BEING TOLD I WAS SAFE) has my xx babies stuck far away in this heat!! I will take my car to the dealership after this! If you don't have competent people certified to work on cars close down! This is horrible and not my 1st time dealing with returning my vehicle to Danmark. I tried to stay with this company because we had good histor. I can't put our safety at risk anymore. read more

I needed motor vehicle inspection. My car failed due to a small cracked lens cover. I took it to another dealer and said my car past the inspection. As long as the light went on and off it passes inspection. I dont trust them anymore. read more

This place used to be one of if not the best but they don't seem to be interested in getting it right anymore. They now happily upsell you on any and everything whether it fixes your issue or not and suddenly develop amnesia regarding why you came in to begin with. If you've got a time machine go back to 2010 and these guys will take care of you. Otherwise steer clear. read more

Bait & switch scammers Took my car in for 2 new tires. Was told $98 for both tires including labor. When I was called, after the new tires had been put on, I was told the total was $193...apparently they didn't have the tires they quoted me for $98 so they picked different ones with a higher price tag and put them on without calling me first. I ended up having to pretty much pay an extra $100 (that wasn't budgeted). Total bait and switch! Not cool Danmark Tire not cool at all. read more

Horrible first experience! I simply had a battery put into my car by Danmark and the technician scratched the side of my vehicle directly beneath where he stood to install the battery. The owner, Rich, was very rude and not accommodating at all. He immediately denied any responsibility. He did admit that there SHOULD have been a pad draped over the side of the car where the technician was performing the work, but the technician did not lay the pad down, which would have prevented any damage to the vehicle. Rich even tried to blame the scratch on the tow service that brought my car to Danmark. When I informed him that Danmark was the business that provided the tow he walked away. I do not recommend doing ANY business with them as they do not value their customers nor their property. read more

A true gem in Florissant! These guys are highly knowledgeable and don't try to mislead their customers. They offer real customer service and never try to oversell. When my wife got a flat from a puncture to her back tire, the service tech at our local tire dealer (national chain) said they could not repair it because the damage was too close to the side wall, then (surprise), he tried to sell her a new tire for about $200. I told her to refuse the service and I picked up the tire the next day and drove it into Florissant. The Danmark tech looked at it and the only concern he had was if I wanted to wait for the repair or pick it up later. Thanks Danmark! It's good to know real Customer Service is still alive and well. read more

A huge Mahalo to the friendly staff of Danmark Tires! These folks went above and beyond to help me with my tires. I tried to change my flat on my own, to drive up to them to get my tire replaced and the jack failed. The car almost came down on me :( I called them with my voice shaking from the whole mess and they told me to sit tight and someone was coming to me. The gentleman who showed up, worked fast, and super friendly. He got my car up and spare on. He followed my car back to the shop and there the staff took all the worry away.
