My strategy for finding any new third party is to read the reviews and try and synthesize the truth, speak to a decision maker and assess and finally ask for some quotes for the parts and labor. I spoke to four shops and of course everyone needs to see the job before finally committing and that scope can obviously change. Sam freely and patiently gave me some quotes for both (others couldn't get past - we need to see it), the quotes and the final pricing were both very fair and competitive. Mo communicated freely during the fix and heres the kicker and why we'll trust these guys moving forward. They easily could have turned the minor job into a relatively major fix and they didn't, the problem and solution was less in every sense than what I assumed it would be including their cost - great job the both of you!

Delta Sonic's area manager Dave was very rude accused me of lying about the damages and the brush causing the damages. He refused to look up camera footage from February, March and April to prove that yes they did use those blue round neoprene brushes on my vehicle even though that was not in my plan. He reprimanded me for having less than 7,000 miles on my vehicle and told me that is a lot of miles for a new vehicle and that is where my scratches came from. I told him I live in the country and work in Buffalo so yes I have miles from driving back and forth to work every day and that would not cause parallel buff lines with scratches that trail along both sides of my vehicle. The only thing my vehicle was squeezed through since I got it was those blue neoprene brushes that should've never been used in the first place because I wasn't supposed to be getting a basic wash. I paid for a super kiss plus plan. So therefore not only did they damage my car they were charging me for a super kiss plus plan and only giving me a basic wash all winter.

They proceeded to check the entire vehicle told my wife that she needed a cabin filter but she told them my husband changes those they showed her the filter and said look how dirty it is the filter was just changed 6 months before and the filter was not dirty it was charcoal because it's a charcoal filter . When reinstalling the filter they left pieces of the filter housing on the floor of the car . It arrived home with my wife with the pieces still on the floor of my car . In addition my wife asked to have the tires rotated they did rotate the tires however they did not check the air pressure which is part of tire rotation three of my wife's tires were low on air the warning light in the car was on when she got home. I think that is something that they should check and make sure when they are rotating the tires. ​ I had to fill them myself . The coupons are really good idea to get you in the front door . I have to believe that the workers there to get some kind of bonus for selling your stuff .

Yes, they are more expensive than other places. But you can drive up without an appointment, get…read moreyour oil changed without having to get out of your car, and drive off in just a few minutes. That's why you're paying extra. Also, they only do a few things. An oil change, an air filter, wiper blades....They don't overhaul engines, they don't do AC repair, they don't sell tires. So when you go there to get an inspection, if something is going to fail, you know it's because it failed and not because they are trying to get more money out of you. (Not that all places do that, but you have piece of mind that it's not being done here.)

Isn't the whole point of valvoline to be able to pull in get your vehicle serviced and be out in a timely manner? Maybe i was just lucky the first few times i went and was able to catch the right time to get an inspection and oil change. I could have just made and appointment somewhere else if i wanted to wait an hour for stuff to get done.

I can't imagine it's easy work being a mechanic, so I want to thank that team, too. I almost always come here for my NYS car inspection and I was surprised when my car started making a rattling sound *after* they replaced a part for me. I came back two weeks later expecting the worst- that I'd have to pay again for service to fix something that might be a result of their recent work. I am SO RELIEVED I was wrong! In an hour they stoped the rattling sound with a simple tightening of my heat shield and sent me on my way- didn't have to pay any service fees. THANK YOU for keeping my trust! Ideally the heat shield would have been tightened properly the first time, but I also recognize the convenience and luxury of having people work on a car for me. These guys are always busy, so I still want to give 5 stars again just for keeping my trust! Who can blame them for having to work fast to see as many cars as possible in a day?

I went to Take 5 in West Seneca today to get my oil change done since I was due according to my…read moreservice sticker. When they checked the dipstick before starting, Jordan said that my oil was much too clean to change at this time. Most places would have just changed me oil and not said a word. Matt checked my cabin air filter as long as I was there and it was super dirty so I had them change it since I was there. He also told me I probably had another 3,000 miles left on my current oil. Ayana was very helpful as well getting me checked out and she and Matt made sure I knew about the discounts available when I came back when I actually needed the work done. The honesty and professionalism I saw today is a reminder of why I keep coming back to Take 5 instead of the other "quick oil change" places in the area (of which there are plenty who will never compare!). The fee for that is $21.00. The techs really knew what they were doing and answered any questions I had. It's pretty pricy for an oil change but I can usually find a coupon online or one is sent to me, which is super convenient.
