Wow yall! this place is 2 mins and 45 seconds away from me and I have been sleeping on it. I don't think of getting food from a place by the gas station but this is an actual restaurant. I would love to give this place 5 stars based off how good the gyro actually was... but they lost two stars from me bc 1. No one wore gloves while preparing food.... You can actually see how they prepare your food while you're waiting.... And 2. The place smells of cigarette smoke. Bad. Very bad. Not something you would expect to smell walking into a pizza joint. I was in the area, and right next to this place is a gas station. Saw the gyro sign on the window and decided... "Oooo gyro, why not?" Walked in, cigarette smoke hits you right in the face. Small place. There's a couple of small tables to sit and eat if you wanted to. I went to the counter, first thing you noticed is that it's ran by an elder lady and a bunch of high school boys. Ok cool. No problem. I order my gyro, and I watch it get prepared. I see bare hands touch my gyro, my meat, the pita, even wrapping it w bare hands grossed me out. The gyro meat came out of the oven and tongs were used to put it on the pita... and then you see bare hands used to straighten it out again. Not one single person wore gloves while preparing food. The young guy who wrapped it, brought it to me in a white paper sack was nice. As I look around the store, it wasn't dirty, things in the kitchen seem to be organized and looks clean. But the smoke smell and no gloves was a negative. PLEASE make your employees who handle food put on gloves. It's basic food hygiene! I go home, open it and it is a gyro. After how I saw it get prepared... I was kind of skeptical to eat it. Told myself I'm sure Taco Bell or McDonald's does the same thing, I just don't see it at the drive thru. I prayed I wouldn't regret this, took a bite and tossed the rest away. It was a waste of my $6. But overall, the gyro actually tasted like a real flavorful gyro.... The pita was nicely soft, meat was seasoned, it had chopped onions, chopped tomatoes, wilted lettuce and really good tzatziki sauce on it. If they only had clean gloves on while making my food, I would have devoured the whole thing. Gyro would have been a combo w chips and a drink for $6.50. But I only got a gyro for $5.or so and it came w a small container of spicy bread and butter like pickles and a pickle spear. read more

Danny B's is our favorite pizza place. Excellent high quality ingredients and friendly service and delivery make it our number one.

We have picked up pizza from Danny B's at least six times since we found them during the spring '20 pandemic lockdown. This place is our mainstay local pizza place- their huge, thin, New York style slices have amazing sauce and toppings. We love the authentic style! Our fave is hands down the Pepperoni Cream Cheese. If you haven't had pizza like this, you need to try it! Our only reason not to give 5 stars is that the one time we preordered- for Halloween, so obviously a super busy day- we picked up pizza that was dry and, well, not as fresh and delicious as we have ever had previously. However, we will not give up on this place. And I am sure they will continue to maintain quality in every area and improve where they need. We love them! Update from last night- I talked myself into ordering again and it for sure had to just be the holiday rush. Last night's pizza was every bit as good as the first time we ordered. The pizza is *really* good. I am a big fan of the everything - essentially supreme + bacon. The veggies they use are locally sourced, not from a can - the difference is huge. This place is adjoined to a gas station. Don't let that discourage you. I'm begging you, don't let that discourage you. I like you. I think you deserve the best pizza you can get. If you're like me, you had second thoughts. I know i did. I thought "maybe I'll just fuel up, grab a soda, and go home." (BTW, how cool is it that you can fuel up while you wait for your order.) Fortunately, I braved it and walked inside. It's not much to look at. Instead of paying high rent for a big space filled with lavish seating, they have a TV, 2 tables, and a little faux bar. That's okay. You aren't here for the atmosphere, other than the atmosphere inside the pizza oven. I really enjoyed the pepperoni and cream cheese pizza. It's become my new fav. I still want to try a 'lots of toppings' pizza here, but I haven't for a few reasons. First, they have an incredible 2 2-topping special. Second, I've only made the trip out here a few times, as it's a 15-20 minute drive. Having said that, for the simple (1-3 topping) pizzas that I have had, I'll take Danny B's over Hideaway, Falcone's, The Heat, or anyone else you care to stack against them. read more

Living in Piedmont, we stop at the Total Express gas station fairly often but we never realized what we were missing having never gone to Danny B's for pizza! My daughter-in-law and I ordered pizza and pepperoni rolls for take out last Friday night for the family and we were all pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste of our selections. From the moment we walked in to pick up our order we were hit with an amazing aroma of Italian spices. We looked at each other and both said "Wow does this place smell fantastic!" When we got our food home we could tell it was made with quality ingredients and was delicious. The pizza that we ordered was on a New York style hand tossed crust and the pepperoni rolls are like Mazzios pepperolies but better and you can get them year round!! Tastes great! We got a 20" NY style pepperoni and added cream cheese. If you like cream cheese at all then you should get this! We also got the garlic cheese knots. If you have ever eaten real Brooklyn pizza, you should like this! I do have to say our pizza was a tad cold and the garlic knots were over cooked. That said, I'll be ordering again! We love Danny B's! When we first found this place they were the only ones that would deliver to our little town. Now we have other choices, but Danny B's is the only place I've found to be consistently perfect! Pizza is always perfect and the gyros and wings are spot on too! Great customer service also, whether over the phone or in person, they are very helpful! OMG....the cinnamon rolls, they are ooey gooey goodness! I was super excited to have their pizza. My friend called in an order and for some reason it took over an hour an a half. From what we were told the driver got lost but the funny thing is the house was less 2 miles away. How did the driver get lost for about 45ish minutes? I don't understand it. The driver was a young kid so we felt a little bad if he actually did get lost but no a days most people have cell phones where they can get directions or he should have printed the directions before leaving. The pizza was warm when we got it so we had to heat it up. The pizza itself (after reheating it) was pretty dang good along with our spinach dip. The owner told us that he would make it right. I haven't checked with my friend to see if he fixed the situation thus giving this place a 3 star. read more

My husband is out in okc working on oil rigs, and I placed an order from california to surprise him for valentines day. Not only was the person I talked to the most helpful person, because I don't know the area at all, but the decorated the box, and threw in their own holiday surprise!
