I didn't get to taste the food because the service coming into the door was terrible. We were told…read morethat we would have a 40 min. wait for a large group. We were informed that the wait had expired on the toast tab. We came back into the restaurant and waited for an additional 30 minutes. We then asked the hostess if we could sit at some tables that were open but she told us that those tables had different servers. We then asked for a manager expecting him to help accommodate our large group but he instead became argumentative. A larger table had finally opened up and we waited for a few minutes longer to be seated. The hostess begrudgingly waived us to our table and proceeded to talk to each of the servers in the immediate area while pointing at our table. No servers came to our table and after a few minutes we had finally had enough and left. Before I left I tried to talk to the same manager but he disgracefully ducked behind his assistant manager. I tried to explain how unprofessional the hostess was but it appears that the behavior that she displayed was acceptable in their eyes. What is sad that the restaurant wasn't even completely full and there was no other groups waiting when we left. So in conclusion. The hostess was the opposite of hospitable. The manager is a weak leader and the I've had the food before.... It isn't worth that crappy service.

I don't live in the area, but we've had Jo's a few times now when I've been in town. I usually pick…read moreup our order, but opted for delivery this time due to work schedule and being busy in general. They used Doordash for delivery and we had a good delivery experience overall. I ordered a meal deal that was a big pizza, 3 appetizers and a big salad. The pizza was great with tons of toppings (Sooner) and we always love their salads. The jalapeno appetizer was well-received by most, I didn't find it that exciting, but it was still good. I liked the focaccia with meat balls, their marinara on the side was a little weak, but not bad, the cheese bread was fine too. I forgot they also put the cheese bread on the salad, so we ended up with quite a bit, but that's okay. One thing I'll mention from the 3 times I've ordered, I totally don't mind that the salad comes in a pizza box, but it does bug me that each time they've stacked the hot pizza and the salad together so by the time it got to us (since I didn't pick it up myself this time), the salad was also hot. Maybe they could get a sticker that says SALAD on it or something to help keep them separate so the pizza doesn't cook the salad in transit.

Loved the jalapeños but the other 2 items were just ok. So next time since almost $20 would just order one item. Lots of different special pizzas. We decided to try half Cowboy and half Maui. Both said BBQ base. The Maui tasted almost all ham. Would try a different one next visit. It always takes us a few tries to find the pizza we like the best. Service was quick . Seems alittle dark, woody older place, could use uplift. Especially restrooms. Lots of seating.

Another weekend on Route 66! This time our stop was in Arcadia, OK at the Pizza Shack. In my…read morenever ending quest to find great pizza I stumbled across this place totally by accident. They have been opened for just about a year and they are right next to the Chicken Shack which is owned by the same people. Another great place to try. Although they only serve one size pizza and it's a thin crust my thoughts were that this wasn't a pizza for me. However, my wife loves the thin crust so I made an exception and thought I had to try it. We arrived later in the afternoon and we were the first dine-in customers. I noticed several others come in for to go orders. Now I'm not familiar with the Iowa Stone Pizza but I was about to be schooled! For simplicity sake one size, one style is not a bad concept. We opted for the Canadian Bacon & Pineapple and for many that's blasphemous but it reality it's a very good combo. My wife felt the meats would be too heavy on her stomach as she was getting over a short illness. Overall the pizza was better than I have expected since I'm not the thin crust kind of guy. It held up nicely with the toppings and cheese. If we make our way back again I'll have to remember not so much cheese. I'm not as big a cheese fan as my wife, typically she'll order extra cheese - she didn't on this one! We started out with the Savannah Sticks - Cheesy Bread - tasty, but I'm not a cheesy bread fan. The staff was quite enjoyable and they provided us with all the details we could ask for! They were quite engaging and that made the dining experience great. Unique rustic indoor dining decor, we sat at a picnic table and had a great conversation with our friends! Obviously there was more pizza than we could eat so a take home bag was in store for us! Their Saturday hours made it easy for us to choose a time to go. Weekdays they open at 4 but Saturday's they open at 11. This is just another stop in my weekend adventures and another restaurant in Route 66.

Also the store is connected to the Chicken Shack which is adjacent. They are also able to make smaller pies for you, so excellent service.
