More people - still only ONE bartender
Michael B.

Came in for the UFC fight and the place was packed. $10 cover - no biggie. But ONE BARTENDER and he is awesome but overwhelmed by the crowd and the fact that he is serving AND cleaning up glasses while dozens wait for drinks. Whoever owns this place needs to give the bartender a huge raise and hire at least another person or two for nights like this. Again - great bartender - but the owners need to spend more to serve better

It's not easy finding a sports bar that will play tennis, but Danny Coyle's fits the bill! A friend called ahead to see if they would play the Indian Wells men's final one Sunday (as he had had trouble watching the semifinals at other bars the day before on Saturday) and Danny Coyle's accommodated us, even letting us put it on the big TV! This was a big deal because it was March Madness season, and there were quite a few college basketball fans trickling in (especially Creighton at the time.) Service was perfect, very friendly and helpful and jokey. I like how they have three bathrooms. The decor is fun--I'll be back to watch soccer with my brother. Looks like it's the spot to watch Man U and Premier League. The pool table is also fun--be careful so you don't get hit by a cue. Would recommend the Bloody Mary as well--I forgot to say don't put in too much vodka (hey, it was a Sunday afternoon and I had to bike home!) and the amount of alcohol was perfect. There's parklets outside and a nice bike rack so you can drink and ride and watch your bike. I'll be back and will tell friends and relatives about it as well :) I'll also try to make it back for Wednesday night trivia one week!

Absolute Class Joint!!! The Wife- "Cleanest bathrooms" Game sucked because Man Utd is trash... but the environment was so fun!

Great ambiance for watching sports! Beer selection was good. At the time of me being there, chips were the only snack option. But it was a wide variety!

This is an awesome sports pub and the owner is a great guy and super friendly. On a sunny day the front windows are open and the ambiance is perfect. There's also a parklet with plenty of seating if you'd prefer to be outside. The best part is, this is an Official Manchester United bar and match days are a blast! Welcoming to all fans, but especially Man Utd fans! Come sing a few chants, have a pint and meet some new friends while we cheer on our Reds to victory! GGMU!!

This is now an official Manchester United Supporters Pub. Had so much fun here the other weekend. A bunch of fans gather here for every game and the atmosphere is electric! They chant, they sing, they drink. This is the best place to watch live games if you're a soccer fan. Loads of HDTVs, pool tables, darts and Guinness on draught. Brian, the owner, is a great guy and is also a United supporter. If you're a United supporter too, join them: http://linktr.ee/redarmysf

My first day-drinking sojourn in 15 months and it was fantastic. The sun was shining and there was no wind. If this was a sign of better days ahead, I am optimistic. A few buddies and I knocked back several pints of Stella while catching. I hadn't seen one friend in years so it was great to drink some cold beer and a warm, SF day. Our server was on pointe with making sure our beers kept coming. This is a great spot to remember that life is better spent outdoors.

A fine pint

Great place to get a few scoops. Great crowd, pool table. Very friendly staff especially young Evan took great care of us.

Good spot to get a tasty pint of beer and watch a game! Wish they had a food menu, but they let you bring in food.

Bar was packed when we left around 10:30 am on a Sunday!

We had planned to watch the third place World Cup match (England vs France) and had initially looked into the Mad Dog in the Fog and Kezar Pub as plans A and B respectively. Both of them were charging a cover charge to come inside and watch the match, so we decided to look elsewhere. We encountered O'Reilly's and stepped inside to see if it'd meet our expectations. All I can say is that we're damn glad we did! Facts: * They do NOT serve/sell food. They are drinks ONLY. BUT, don't let that dissuade you from coming here. They're very lenient on you bringing in your own food to eat (granted you should also be courteous and buy something to drink here as well.), and there are some great food places within walking distance such as Escape from New York Pizza, Cha Cha Cha and even Whole Foods. * The owner is a great guy and is even Irish to boot! We had a great time shooting the breeze with him. There was one other employee working the bar as well who was friendly. * Prices, IMO, are reasonable for the drinks they serve. The pub got pretty crowded for the match, but the two employees had everything under control and seemed to be able to still bring people their drinks in a timely manner. We got pizza from Escape from New York down the street, and then washed it down with some Guinness here. (The Guinness was $10/glass.) Our drinks came fairly quickly. Overall, a great time was had by us and all, and, to make things even better, England won the match!! I've been to my share of British and/or Irish pubs, and, despite not serving any food, O'Reilly's is still one worth patronizing. Give it a shot! 5 stars all the way

The high decorative ceilings, stained glass accents, dark wood finishes, vintage-style lighting, and unique artwork throughout the restaurant give the place a warm and authentic feel. The inside has plenty of character, with cozy booths, classic pub seating, and a spacious layout that somehow still feels intimate and welcoming. The décor and atmosphere alone make this place worth visiting, whether you're there for drinks, dinner, or simply to take in the ambiance. The food definitely lived up to the setting. I ordered the beer-battered fish and chips, and they were excellent. The fish was flaky and fresh with a crispy, golden batter that had great flavor without feeling too greasy or heavy. The fries paired well with the dish, and the tartar sauce added a nice finishing touch. I also tried the loaded potato skins, which were packed with cheese, bacon, sour cream, and green onions--flavorful and a great appetizer to share. Service was friendly and attentive, and everything came out hot and fresh. Between the quality food, generous portions, and one of the most unique interiors I've seen in San Francisco, Johnny Foley's Irish House is absolutely worth stopping by. A great combination of atmosphere, comfort food, and classic Irish pub charm.
