I've been here maybe three times now and it's a very cute themed bar. The staff are super sweet and welcoming. I usually get this passion fruit drink, super strong!! Love it here.

This gem in the dogpatch is a great spot to grab a drink before a Warriors game! It's a couple blocks from chase center so it's not as crowded. They had good happy hour specials, we got a 2 for 1 cocktail special. It was light, refreshing. There was one bartender working with several tables which was impressive! He was hustling for sure. The space is decorated well with cute sea themed decor and dark intimate lighting. They also have a pool table if you're with a group. I recommend sea star for a chill happy hour for sure!

The Sea Star is a fun, relaxed bar that provides a nice escape from the modern vibes of the Dogpatch. The decor helps set the funky, nautical theme, and the cocktail menu is pretty extensive and has something for many different tastes. I got the Peanut Envy, which was served with a small snack of peanuts on the side. The drink was tasty, but I was expecting a bit more of a punch given the bourbon, sherry, lime leaf, lemongrass, peanut, lime and chili. It was refreshing and easily drinkable, but didn't have much heat or strong flavors, so I would try a different drink on their menu next time. The salted peanut snack was a nice addition, although it also could've used a bit more seasoning Nonetheless, we enjoyed the fun ambiance, nautical theme, and extensive menu.

Love the vibe here and attention to detail with their cocktails. Garnishes are beautiful and cut with precision. Maybe it's a female bartender thing, but I really loved it . Was there on New Year's Eve and all the bartenders were totally on point and super nice and attentive. It was really my first time enjoying a cocktail at Sea Star and I couldn't have been happier. Brittany, Mars, and Alicia really know their mixology and how to do hospitality. I should've been going here years ago. And their craft beer program is incredibly well rounded, kinda rare for a place that does great cocktails. I can't wait to go back! Oh, and did I mention they have Detroit pizza by the slice for sale by LongBridge, this is a cool hack because Longbridge usually only does square pies on Thursdays. But here you can get it any day of the week. Insane! Lastly, their Mezcal / Montenegro shot on a big rock with a twist cannot be beat.

A proper Whiskey Sour, made by bartender extraordinaire, Curt/Kurt.

Really outstanding cocktail service, compliments of Curt/Kurt the bartender. I ordered a whiskey sour and he replied, "With or without egg whites?" Y s, please! Thanks for the jolly visit. I'll be back.

My favorite bar during our bar hop! The bartender, the bar itself, and the drinks ‍ ! I ordered cherry poppins and the bf got an IPA. So good! We played a round of pool ($2 per game) while we sipped our drinks! Bathrooms are clean. And they had plenty of sitting places. We'll definitely be back!!

What a great find! A bartender at Atwater suggested this place and so glad he did. Delicious craft cocktails and friendly recommendations. A great place to hang before going to Chase Center.

After a concert at Chase Center, I ended up here with a friend. The decor is cool, there's a octopus ceiling lamp. Good space, there's a pool table and a digital jukebox. The bartenders are very friendly and funny. We put some music and it was great! Everybody singing good hits. I had a blast! I had an apple cider (yeah, I know.. boring!). Didn't know the brand but I liked it.

My husband and I jumped off the Muni whilst out of town after seeing a show at Chase Center when we saw this bar.

The story at Li PO was that the last time they were there, the woman barkeep told Ryan he couldn't order his beer or pick their seats & made Nicole & Ryan get wreaked guzzling their signature booze bombs the Chinese Mai Tai!! I was warned to be ready to have my choice of liquor ignored! They both were presented with the required youth beverage, the dangerous delicious Mai Tai. Almost everyone else in the joint was sipping them too thru straws. The Chinese decor outside and inside add to the amusement, I felt like I was in the epic 1980s film "Big Trouble in Little China". Bartender has been friendly enough each visit. The legendary famous Mai Tai is a secret recipe, costs $12, and will give you a nice love you long time buzz with just one. The place was surprisingly moderately busy and lively on a Sunday night! Maybe this place could use a fresh paint job and remodel, but that would be a travesty to this old girl.
