the tuesday we went...they had no $1 margaritas and this sign was the reason we went in ):
    Alyssa O.

honestly, food was great. but on a game day like today, we were trying to find a good spot for happy hour and we saw this sign. INSTANTLY excited for $1 margaritas. super disappointed that this wasn't real, they didn't have $1 margaritas!! service was great and the interior was really cool, but unfortunately, we went there solely because the sign the had outside with the line of people said $1 margaritas ):

Came by for lunch with coworkers again. Did the easy QR menu ordering- it's easier than splitting checks. I got the Grilled corn and bean salad with pollo asado. Food and drinks came out, but you don't get chips or salsa unless you buy it . Salad was good, chicken had good flavor. Had to go up to the bar to get refills. Overall, food was good, service was just ok. Chips and salsa would be nice like many taquerias, but oh well.

I seen these characters in SF and they are no prize

Oracle Park has always had some watering hole nearby to grab some drinks and food. Years ago this spot was known as Pedro's which offered tacos and drinks. Pedro's was the spot for pregame and the after fact game hangout and it was connected to Pete's Tavern. Today it's now known as Under Dog Cantina. This place has almost the same layout as Pedro's and offers many different dishes on their menu . On an Autumn stroll on National Taco Day I went to Underdog on King street ( they said there was no king) at a private event for AI Video by Affogato.ai. The carne asada tacos were so good. The meat was tender and never chewy. I also had the chicken tacos and they were on point. The bar served some good drinks to pair with the taco plate. They also have the San Diego Burrito ( not better than the San Francisco burrito) and the San Francisco burrito. For those who like it cheesy they have the Cheeseburger Burrito. Overall the spot to go to all four seasons and it's on King street for drinks and food. Come by where there is $1 Wednesday chicken "wing" and where the SF Giants across the street go "swing "and they won the MLB championships "ring "across the street called "King " Although it's called Underdog they are not serving "Purina " because today its called Underdog " Cantina" which offers comida " Latina" although it's across Oracle Park it's not the Oracle" Arena"

Came here for my club's alumni night and we were just blown away by the excellent service and food. Worked with Nem from the restaurant to organize the whole event, who was so responsive and on top of everything. We catered the party plus package which came with a taco bar, burritos, and appetizers. For the tacos and burritos, we chose carne asada, pollo asado, tofu, and veggie. Appetizers included chips with guac and salsa, and grilled corn and black bean salad. They also had so much Mexican rice and beans on the side. The carne asada burrito was just meat, beans, and tomatoes, no rice! Pretty good deal. The tacos are small and authentic, an I loaded them with all the toppings. Also loved the all the sauces they provided. We had an open bar and I got the horchata which was very autumn vibes and loved the cinnamon. We reserved the main room which was the perfect amount of space with lots of seating. We were also able to connect to a corner TV through airplay to play trivia. Overall had a great time here, hope to work with them again the the future!

Went to Underdogs for a quick bite during the SNF game and came out pretty unimpressed with the food. The ambiance was nice with TVs everywhere; I can see this place being a fun spot to pregame a Giants game or to watch the Niners, but for a random Sunday night, it was pretty empty. The service was average: ordering was through a QR code and you grabbed your own water/utensils so very minimal contact with your servers. We started off with the Queso Fundido and it just wasn't flavorful (4/10). The cheese taste was faint, and there wasn't much spice. I love a white queso dip, but this one missed the mark. We also got the Mexican Street Style tacos and the Crispy tacos which were just fine (7/10). The meat was nicely seasoned and the side salsas added some punch to the bites. I've had better, but they did the job. Overall, I could see this being a fun venue to grab a drink and a quick bite, especially during a game. But if you're after a standout meal, this wouldn't be my first recommendation.

Went here for a company happy hour and the service was great & super quick. I liked the margarita pitcher (came with salt rimmed glasses) and the chicken nachos. The nachos had a decent amount of chips & chicken but wish they came with more guac! Space inside is sports bar vibes and pretty spacious.

I have came here before a game and ordered their food to go too many times to not leave a review! Crazy enough I am always having too much fun to remember to take a pic for my reviews but wanted to give them one regardless! First let me first start off by saying for how busy this place gets I have never once had bad service here. It is consistently fast, friendly and they've never forgot any requests I've make on to go orders. This place is such a fun, lively bar that so happens to be one of the best Mexican food spots in the bay in my opinion! Always a good time here!

One of the best happy hours in SF. Street tacos are so crave worthy and it's one of the very few places that don't pre-batch their HH margaritas. Phenomenal location as well, literally right across the street from Oracle Park. For sure recommend Underdogs Cantina!

I was staying near the ballpark and craving some solid Mexican food after a long day. Found this spot on Yelp and decided to give it a try, glad I did! The place is huge, with plenty of seating both at tables and the bar. The staff was incredibly friendly. Honestly, I expected them to be worn out since it was a few hours after a baseball game, but everyone was upbeat, cheerful, and happy to help. I went with the SF Burrito with steak and absolutely demolished it. The real highlight? All their salsa is made inhouse, and you can taste the freshness in every bite. I didn't make it upstairs, but I think I spotted Pop-A-Shot and some arcade games up there, which seems like a fun bonus. If you're in the area, especially near the ballpark, definitely give this place a visit.

I work around the corner and have seen this place packed for Giants game, but never came here either when I was at the office or when I was at a game until recently. Service was quick and friendly. We ordered with the bartender but you can also scan a QR code. It was packed just after 12pm (it opens at 10am when there's Giants day games) and there wasn't much space to stand, let alone sit! My coworker liked his Cheeseburger burrito and I devoured my breakfast La Bomba burrito. His came with a handful of fries and mine came with a handful of tater tots. They could've given us more but it was fine because the burritos were so large and delicious. This is a great place to hang out before, after, or during a game. Good vibes and energy and lots of TV.

We needed to grab a quick bite before the game (Go Giants) and a cousin decided on this place. You order from the table and they bring your food out to you. Either I was hungry or it was just so good, but we wiped our plate clean from those nachos. The horchata was alright. It tasted very chalky to me. Pass on the churros though. It was more bready than crunchy. Solid option for right outside the ballpark, I would want to try more things before I can say it would be a regular spot.

I go here A LOT with my boyfriend to watch the game or just get food to go. My go to has been the taco salad (made vegan) and it's so good! generous portions and just such a good meal lol. Also their guac and chips is good (weird way of serving it). I also love their margaritas! Also fun to play in the arcade above (however the basketball net is always broken lol). Service is always good (Bryce has established himself as a regular). The bartenders are super friendly and helpful and quick haha

    CARNE ASADA BURRITO
    Joey W.

Ordered a carne asada burrito for lunch. Burrito had weight to it - beans, rice, pico de gallo, carne asada, a little bit of guacamole and sour cream. It was a little heavy on the rice and beans side but the carne asada was seasoned well and tender. It came with salsa verde and salsa roja. The salsa roja had a nice smokey flavor which added a nice dimension to the flavor profile.

The menu is extensive with plenty of options, which I appreciated. The food was a bit hit or miss. The calamari was definitely the standout and was cooked well. The nachos, however, needed some work. The chips were too flimsy and kept breaking, making them difficult to eat. We also ordered a Lemon Drop and an Old Fashioned, and both drinks were pretty mid and didn't leave much of an impression. Service was good throughout the visit, and the atmosphere makes it a solid place to grab a bite or watch a game. While this visit didn't completely wow me, I'd come back and give some different menu items a try.
