Lite sauce tomato cheese with the ricotta the carne was just as I was hoping for loaded down with meat. Such a great place and I am certainly glad I found it by chance. The wide variety of food from Pizza...sandwiches...salads...and all kinds of entrees. Pizza is the best in the area and everything I have tried has been very good and lots of it...it is very clean and the service is top notch with the owners on top of everything. I didn't realize I ordered from Frozen Disappointments R Us. If I wanted a cold, lifeless slab of dough with congealed cheese and toppings that tasted like regret, I would've just rummaged through my freezer at 3 a.m. The pizza arrived cold, but in a timely manner. This is the old Franco's Pizza place which the new owners made it to their own pizza restaurant. We were waiting for this establishment to be open and it did not let us down. They do have great lunch specials, which we took full advantage of, 2 slices of delicious almost NY style taste and feel of the NY style pizza, but was good, w a drink. The owners were very attentive and right on point to serve their customers. There was a lot of people in the pizza joint for a good reason. I'm kinda afraid to try another food off their menu like their chicken parmigiana bc I'm afraid it's going to be a frozen patty which they will heat up w a slap of sauce n mozzarella. This pizza was the worst pizza I have ever had. There was hardly any toppings on our pizza. We ordered three large pizzas and two orders of wings and it was $96. They told us it would be ready in a half hour and that half hour actually was over an hour. I do not recommend this place. There are so many more good places for pizza. read more

Our two go-to Italian restaurants were closed, so we tried Mulberry St. Totally classic inexpensive Italian restaurant vibe - just the ticket for the beach! So glad we tried it! The food is not fancy, just good classic Italian fare. The Italian sausage was the best, and the meatballs are actually real deal beef/veal/pork - so tasty. I sent them a PM and was told they were under new ownership???? They advertise as thin crust pizza, ordered a small cheese today, it was thick crust, undercooked and doughy and cold!!!! I had to put it in the air fryer to crisp and heat. I'm done with them. Many other places to choose from in the area. I do not recommend any more. And I used to rave about this place read more

You order from the menu and then they'll bring it to a table if you're eating in. Drinks for self, serve, so able to mix lemonade, and iced tea were a bonus! Ordered the 'red' Margherita pizza, and Greek salad. The pizza was perfect! Light and crunchy crust with fresh ingredients, including delicious sauce, mozzerella and fresh basil was delightful. Also, the salad was amazing! Fresh romaine, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, stuffed grape leaves, pepperoncini and a healthy slice of feta cheese along with the most delicious Caesar dressing I've ever had- chock-full of feta as well. We also ordered dessert to go: rainbow cake and lemoncello cake. I preferred lemon cake as was fresh, light and delicious. Owner visited tables to make sure everyone was happy. Ordered on Door Dash an extra crispy well done 14" cheese pie with half green peppers/mushrooms. Ordered at 6:13 and pizza was out for delivery at 6:31. $24.99 for a 14" pie barely cooked. Definitely not crispy or well done(which were options on the app). Antipasto salad was standard nothing special. Pizza ingredients are not high quality and especially for the price. Honestly the pizza is no where near NY pizza...'more like pizza hut pan pizza. I love to support local and always keep my expectations in check(no where except NY has NY pizza) but this place missed the mark. read more

Like all new places it was very good in the beginning but has since gone downhill. Ordered a pizza for dine in one day and while eating saw a huge roach walking across the half wall. Instead of making a scene and alerting other people in the restaurant I called Joann the owner over to let her know. She sent one of the pizza makers out from behind the counter to get it. We revisited Mulberry St several times afterwards, add we were very disappointed. The last time ordered a calzone and it was horrible. I told Joann we didn't like it after trying a very small piece. They never even offered to remake it or refund us. We will never return. They can keep the roaches and the crappy calzone.
