We arrived a little early - it's a small inside area with a counter to order, pay and pickup. While there several folks came and went with pizzas. Employees were very friendly! We ordered the honey mustard and jalapeño chicken pizza, BBQ pizza, olive and pepperoni pizza, breadsticks and cheese sticks. You must not pass up the breadsticks, get at least two orders. Only 5 sticks but they were fluffy and delicious! The pizzas were very good too - crust not too thick and flavorful. Our fav was the honey mustard, chicken and jalapeño pizza. Everything was ready upon arrival. Always a massive plus. The entire staff was friendly and very helpful. Great vibe all around. We ordered a Margherita pie and a Buffalo Chicken pie. And a pesto chicken wrap. Being from NJ and a total pizza snob, I jumped in with an open mind. The Margherita was done with a S.C. flair. Not exactly the correct type of tomatoes, but the tomatoes they used were VERY fresh and it worked. Had a background kick off garlic and a buttery flavored crust. The Buffalo Chicken, I enjoyed a little more. They added onions and pieces of celery, which I think was a PHENOMENAL touch. If they did a smirk of ranch, this would've been solid Pesto chicken wrap was a solid alternative. Chicken was tender. The pesto sauce was average. All in all, this is a decent, little Pizzeria within Myrtle Beach. We're here for a tournament at Ripken and we've found that most places close very early. He told me to hit A.J.'s on the way out of town. I got to the unassuming hole in the wall to-go pizzeria. I ordered a medium pepperoni pizza with extra cheese on their white Italian dough. They brought the pie to my car. I took one bite, and OMG. The flavor was something else. I was taken back to my childhood. The sauce and old-world style pepperoni are off the meter. Saw this recommended in several different places so decided to give it a try. Excellent! Can't say much about ambiance, it's a take out/delivery place, but it was clean and well lighted. Service was good, I was greeted as I entered, I had ordered ahead and it was ready when I got there. We had a supreme and it was great - crust was perfectly cooked, good sauce, and the toppings were very fresh and perfectly balanced. I think we have a favorite pizza place now! read more

We ordered from AJ's and had it delivered. They were even kind enough to deliver a bit later to accommodate us. We had a couple pizzas, which were great. I especially loved the crispy crust. We used AJ's twice in our short visit to Myrtle Beach. Both times it was for takeout. The first night we needed a salad to complement our other left overs from traveling. The staff was very friendly and helpful making a selection.
