We stopped in for lunch and placed an order, then went to shop at a cute little vintage store next door while we waited. Our order was ready before we were finished shopping and it was delicious. I got a chicken Alfredo personal pizza and they definitely did not skimp on the toppings. It was wonderful and reasonably priced. My boyfriend got an Italian sub which was also good. We discovered AJs pizza in Myrtle Beach, it's carry out or delivery only. We placed an order during the dinner rush and wait time was less than 25 minutes! We arrived a little early - it's a small inside area with a counter to order, pay and pickup. While there several folks came and went with pizzas. Employees were very friendly! We ordered the honey mustard and jalapeño chicken pizza, BBQ pizza, olive and pepperoni pizza, breadsticks and cheese sticks. You must not pass up the breadsticks, get at least two orders. Only 5 sticks but they were fluffy and delicious! The pizzas were very good too - crust not too thick and flavorful. Our fav was the honey mustard, chicken and jalapeño pizza. YUMMO!! we ordered a personal size pizza with mushrooms and a personal size pizza with pepperoni and extra sauce. We've never been here and wanted to do a comparison to see if they were as good as people say they were and they were amazing. Sorry, I only got the one picture no picture of the mushroom pizza. Our first night in Myrtle Beach and we got to our condo fairly late. So we made it a pizza night. After looking at a few handy dandy Yelp review, we landed on AJ's. We ordered via phone for pickup. Everything was ready upon arrival. Always a massive plus. The entire staff was friendly and very helpful. Great vibe all around. We ordered a Margherita pie and a Buffalo Chicken pie. And a pesto chicken wrap. Being from NJ and a total pizza snob, I jumped in with an open mind. The Margherita was done with a S.C. flair. Not exactly the correct type of tomatoes, but the tomatoes they used were VERY fresh and it worked. Had a background kick off garlic and a buttery flavored crust. The Buffalo Chicken, I enjoyed a little more. They added onions and pieces of celery, which I think was a PHENOMENAL touch. If they did a smirk of ranch, this would've been solid Pesto chicken wrap was a solid alternative. Chicken was tender. The pesto sauce was average. All in all, this is a decent, little Pizzeria within Myrtle Beach. We're here for a tournament at Ripken and we've found that most places close very early. I'm a big pizza guy. West Coast to the East Coast. I was in Myrtle Beach for a Conference and I had my pizza guy cater 80 Detroit pies for two days. He's a pro. He told me to hit A.J.'s on the way out of town. I got to the unassuming hole in the wall to-go pizzeria. I ordered a medium pepperoni pizza with extra cheese on their white Italian dough. They brought the pie to my car. I took one bite, and OMG. The flavor was something else. I was taken back to my childhood. The sauce and old-world style pepperoni are off the meter. You could not get a more flavorful bite. It made the 2 1/2 hour drive home a delight. Highly highly recommend. read more

Saw this recommended in several different places so decided to give it a try. Excellent! Can't say much about ambiance, it's a take out/delivery place, but it was clean and well lighted. Service was good, I was greeted as I entered, I had ordered ahead and it was ready when I got there. We had a supreme and it was great - crust was perfectly cooked, good sauce, and the toppings were very fresh and perfectly balanced. I think we have a favorite pizza place now! read more

We ordered from AJ's and had it delivered. They were even kind enough to deliver a bit later to accommodate us. We had a couple pizzas, which were great. I especially loved the crispy crust. We appreciated the family side salad menu item.. it had mushrooms, onions, cheese, tomato.... And was plenty large enough for our family. We also tried the Philly Cheesesteak egg rolls.... We used AJ's twice in our short visit to Myrtle Beach. Both times it was for takeout. The first night we needed a salad to complement our other left overs from traveling. The salad was fresh looking and was very good. The second day while visiting a facility close by, we ordered their version of a Hawaiian pizza and meat lovers pizza. Both were very good and our nephew enjoyed them. If we travel this way again, we would definitely order from them if it fits our needs. read more

Visiting from out of town and ordered pizza delivery to our timeshare. It took 1 hour and 5 mins and they quoted us 45 mins. The supreme pizza was delicious and the large was the perfect size for 3 people! The caesar salad was a waste of money it looked like bagged lettuce and crotons from a package and was very bland. We ordered the Margherita Pizza and the jalamango wings. Crust was flavorful and fresh veggies and a light touch of garlic. Arrived piping hot to our room at the Sheraton. This place was recommended and it didn't disappoint for the pizza. The wings were mediocre. Not spicy enuf for my taste. The flats were prepared well. The drums were overdone. Okay, I gotta tell you, was not expecting this. I THOUGHT I was headed to a sit down restaurant but I was wrong. This is take out or delivery only. My son and I almost left but so glad we didn't. The staff was very friendly and helpful making a selection. We went with the meat lovers with Brie (amazing) and some wings (amazing) and another meat lovers with traditional cheese (amazing) my son is less adventurous with food and did not want to take a risk on the Brie but he tried a slice of mine and liked it. All in all, the food was excellent! Fresh ingredients, perfect amount of sauce and cheese. Crust was done to perfection. Wings had great flavor. I went with the hot buffalo and garlic parm.
