On this past Saturday, I come out of the beautiful Aquarium in downtown Norwalk to find my rental car had a flat front tire. It was raining, I was in a strange town (I am from Ohio) and had no idea about this car and how to do the spare. I called Danny's Tires and in about a 1/2 hour, they show up and put on the spare, and I follow them to their shop and they fix the tire. I am on the road in about an hour. They take care of you on the street. There are signs that make it so cars normally can't park here so the street is generally theirs to use for changing tires and whatnot. They work hard and took care of my truck in a short amount of time. Reasonable price read more

This review does not do justice at telling you how great Danny Jr and crew are. My first experience with him was more than a year ago when he repaired my girlfriends curb-rashed rims. He went out of his way to accommodate her. Most recently, he repaired a rim for me for an insanely low price. Soon thereafter, he helped me select a set of rims online that would fit my car (Tesla). He had no horse in that race and did it out of the goodness of his heart. Once the rims came in, his crew mounted and balanced the new set of tires that I bought from him for less money than any place I know of. This is a family owned business that takes pride in their work and ethics. They've been in business for decades, and that alone speaks for itself in this land of harsh competition. So my car was making a terrible noise when I drove fast and the mechanic said I needed to get 3 new rims. I took my car to Danny's and he showed me that the rims were fine and the noise was coming from a piece of plastic hanging from my bumper. He reattached it and charged me 20 bucks. He very easily could have made me pay for new rims (I would never know the difference), but this dude runs an honest shop. Highly recommend. read more

I came here for basically USED new tires. Call ahead with your rim sizes from your existing tire walls. These guys are polite, fast and they will give you a good deal. Weekly deliveries of new and used tires. I found tires here 10 other tire shops did not have. read more

Danny's prices are comparable to others. I am an astute customer and unless it's a do or die, I do my research. I hate to be ripped off and shop around because I feel that I am too good looking to be taken. I bought a pair of used tires from Danny and one blew out from the dreadful potholes this winter. When I reappeared on the scene like Columbo in a raincoat, he was not around but his family ( white man) tried to sell me a used tire for about $40. I had to ask him if he was serious and went about my business. Bottom line: Predators in a black neighborhood and you will pay the price while waiting for your welfare check. Moved on and I obtained an almost brand new tire for the same price with mounting and the works. Buyers, we are suckers every day. Wow! I got a flat tire and they came to my rescue in five minutes even though they were pretty much closed! Danny was so sweet he gave me a brand new tire even though I didn't have the entire amount on me. This is a wonderful Mom and Pop business that you want to do business with! Best place to get the best yet the cheapest tires. This business has been open and booming for about 35+ years. The used tires even look brand new. & they now reconstruct rims to looking just like they had before. Those potholes can be a killer. I had a cracked rim, thought I needed a new but but they totally repaired it for a great price. Highly recommended. read more

Very good place, nice owner, fast service and reasonable prices. I had four tires balanced and a tire replaced in less than 45 minutes. Only one small niggle with my experience - but not enough to deduct a star: they jacked the car up so it was tipping backwards and forwards while the tires were off - seemed a little precarious, but was fine in the end. read more
