Employees are very rude. I went in for a tire change and my vehicle was damaged by the hydraulic jack used to lift it. When I noticed I drove back to the shop to show the employee, but a different one was there. I showed him the damage and asked what can be done. He became very defensive and said "well I never touched your car". I asked if we can look at the cameras, to which he responded "no we got no cameras" then walked away. I already did not want to return to this shop because the initial employee that helped me was very rude and sarcastic. read more

Would give this place 6 stars if I could. Problem: I grazed a curb with my Porsche at around 25mph but this was enough to knock a front wheel out of alignment, steering wheel tilted 15 degrees, PSM error lights came on, loud cracking noise if I turn wheel too far. First I brought the car to a couple local Manhattan auto shops, all said something is bent, one shop quoted me $3.8K for to buy replacement knucke and two tie rods to fix. After I questioned him he took off the knuckle and reduced price to $1.8K saying the knuckle is not THAT bent, talk about shady lol. That shop also said that they should be able to order the parts and have it fixed by next day. This gave me the KEY clue that probably nothing was bent, because Porsche parts are notoriously difficult to get next day. Solution: So I looked around for a shop to realign the wheels only and called Rush and spoke to Ramon. To my surprise they had the latest Hunter equipment to be able to do a Porsche alignment (typically needed to be done at dealership for 4x the price). I brought the car in the next day, they first thought something was bent too but upon inspection one of his guys said nothing looks bent so they'll do the alignment to see if it'll fix the issue. 1 hour later, the car drives straight and smooth as new, no noise, nothing. Total cost was $110! Outstanding work, no upsell, no scamming customers like the Manhattan autoshops. They'll have my business for life or as long as I live in NYC. read more

I came here today after looking up the nearest tire shop after I discovered I had a slow leak ok my tire after driving over a nail. The awesome positive reviews stood out on Yelp and that's all it took for me to come here to get my tire fixed. The shop was easy to find. The service was awesome! Chucky was more than happy to help and was able to patch my tire for $7 in about 5 minutes. I strongly recommend this tire shop after the experience I had. They were very personable and didn't take advantage of me. I know this because I had another nail that didn't go all the way in and they didn't charge me for repairing that puncture because it wasn't problematic. Quality: They have this new computer alignment system, for a top-notch wheel alignment after mounting new tires; 3. Friendly: Staff is great and very friendly; 4. Good price. My Tip: I used the Mavis discount tire website to do the review (they have consumer ratings on the tires). Then compared prices to Rush auto. My preferred tire was $45 cheaper at Rush (and I needed 4!). So that was an easy deal. 5. Fast order: Selected the tires on their website, and they arrived the next day in the shop. I got a flat upstate, and the tire the local shop had available didn't match the tires I already had on. Another tire didn't have the correct tread level anyways so it was enough for me to finally get 4 new tires for my AWD car and I put them on at this shop. Excellent service and very friendly. Read the reviews and so decided to come here to fix my bent rim because I didn't want to deal with repair shops ripping me off. And like what previous reviewers said, they were really honest. The guy I spoke to (Diego?) said that they can fix the bend but he said that it won't be perfect. He said that it is best that I go to another repair shop to get my rim straighten. A lot of places can bend it back for you but not many have the machinery to straighten it so he told me to call other places up and ask specifically to "straighten rim". I walk out already but because I really like his honesty. I came back and patch my slow leaking tire. I will update this review if anything comes up regarding this patch tire. read more

I got new tires this Saturday and needed to get them mounted/balanced. Went to a place in Queens originally and was told the wait would be almost two hours to get my car in. I called up this place since I was going to be in the area later on in the day, and was told to just come in, there wasn't a wait. Got there in a half hour and they started on my car right away. Within a half hour, I had all four of my tires mounted and balanced. The guys here were super nice as well, and it was much cheaper than other places I checked out. Total for all 4 mount/balance was $60, and another $3 each to discard my old tires. Tax with credit card came out to $78. Highly recommend this place for a quick tire swap or fix! read more

Seeing that it was already 8pm at night, we needed to get her car fixed or else it could have been worse. It was late at night and the only option I found on Yelp was this place. When I called, a friendly man greeted me and told me he was open. Within 5 minutes, we were there. This place is a humble business with an owner who is sweet, honest and does good work. We ended up chatting with him while the tire was being fixed and I loved how real he was. He was kind, didn't try and upsell...was just a good guy! I ran over a crazy pothole on the Long Island Expressway, damaging 2 of my tires. Every other tire shop could only fit me in the next week. My rim was bad. Huge Brooklyn pothole ate my wheel up, leaving 3 dents, the lips flared out and a hole pinched through tire sidewall where it bottomed out. Ugh.. Roadhazard Insurance has me covered on the tire, but for the rim, my tire spot said they don't do rim repairs. Found Rush on Yelp, and headed over.. The staff at Rush got my wheel round again in less than 30 minutes. Can't say enough on how impressed I was on the work, surely thought the rim was going to scrap. On the phone, they quoted $60 dollars to install 4 tires. I asked them if there were any additional charges - To which the man said, "No". Upon arriving, I was told $72. So I reminded him of the phone quote - To which he said it's extra to hold onto the old tires. They quickly installed the 4 tires, so I paid them $80 and told them to keep the change. Next day, THREE OUT OF THE FOUR TIRES WERE FLAT! [Refer to pictures I uploaded.] Well, at least now I had an excuse to get out of going to a funeral! So off I hiked several miles to Target to purchase an air pump. After filling the tires, I sprayed some soapy water on the tires to find the source of the leak: all valve stems were leaking air! So back to, Rush Auto Tire Shop, I went! Naturally, the guys remembered me. After telling them of the trouble, and showing them the source of the leak with the soapy water, they said they would fix it. Rather than feel embarrassed, they seemed genuinely happy I had come back to patronize their tire repair shop once more. Fix it they did by replacing the valves. However, to add insult to injury, they cheerfully charged me again! Now it all made sense: They had been expecting me to come back! [Refer to copy of receipt photo I uploaded.] As you can imagine, I pleaded my case to them! After all, it is standard operating procedure among all tire shops to verify proper sealing of the tires & valve stems by dipping the tires into soapy water and looking for any leaking air bubbles. As a direct result of their failure to install the tires & valves properly, and their failure to check them for air leaks afterward, I suffered a financial loss, numerous set-backs and aggravation. In fact, after looking around the shop, I did not see any tub of water or any other means for checking for air leaks after installing tires. As incredulous as it may seem, the only reason that I can imagine for them not having a means to check for air leaks is because sending out leaking tires IS part of their standard operating practice! Think of all the additional revenue that comes by sending out bad tires knowing well the customer will return the next day - Whereupon they CHARGE THEM A SECOND TIME to fix their 'mistakes'! Unfortunately, the shop was only willing to give me a paltry $2 break in the NEW bill. So instead of being charged $42 dollars, I was charged $40 to have them fix their previous days 'mistake'! In summary, it was not $60 to install four tires like they said over the phone - Rather the total cost to me was $120 (twice the quoted sum), plus $40 for the electric air pump at Target, plus the innumerable set-backs, time, aggravation and insult. Can you imagine the depravity that stitches together the fabric of this business? I noticed they don't like handing out receipts and demand cash, (I was forced to get cash around the corner at an ATM). It makes me wonder if they properly pay taxes! My recommendation to the public: If you decide to do business with this shop: Expect to be victimized by the highest grade of malice and fraud! Like the serial murder, the people of this 'business' are indifferent to the life of others! I don't know what dark traits drive these confidence men, nor how they lack empathy. My guess is that they derive more than money from their confidence schemes. I think they enjoy the power of exploiting the decent nature of hard working human beings! read more
