Great experience with Dan's TV. My Sony Bravia TV wouldn't turn on after two years sitting in a storage unit. Dan's diagnoses the problems for a $25 deposit, which then gets applied to the repair bill. Arthur was always very kind and pleasant both in person and on the phone, and he texted within a day or two (after he heard my voicemail message which says I don't check voicemail) to me to tell me they had a diagnosis. We spoke and he explained the issue, quoted the price (minus the $25), and a few days later my TV was ready to be picked up, good as new. 2020 review: So I once again called Arthur at Dan's TV & Electronics for my second service call. And once again it was Arthur taking my call. This time I scheduled to have my lamp replaced in my Mitsubishi TV which had finally blown from the previous owner. Arthur showed up that evening around 6P. Super clean and pro per usual. Poor customer service. Although the timeline was met, the tech did not arrive with someone to assist in removing the TV. The TV was placed on the ground without a blanket to avoid damage. When the tech returned to reinstall the TV assistance was required to remount. The tech utilized my cream couch as workspace without permission and seemed irritated when brought to his attention. Although minimal complete change for the transaction could not be satisfied. In addition, the invoice does not provide a thorough breakdown of pricing for cost of items. It only provides the total which gives an impression of padding material cost. I'm happy my TV works but would not recommend based on customer service and thoroughness of invoice. Update based on remarks: Never indicated extreme satisfaction of customer service. Improved customer service and thoroughness of documentation - invoice will improve business and reviews. read more

Panasonic plasma "popped" and picture went out. Was afraid it was a total loss which was sad cuz we liked the plasma's picture quality and they don't make them anymore. We have a Samsung Frame TV and after 4 years, half of the TV suddenly became much dimmer. We called Dan's TV and Electronics, and they knew immediately how to fix it. They promptly scheduled an appointment to examine the TV in our home and correctly diagnosed that one of the backlight LED strips had gone out. They took the TV back to their shop and a few days later, we had a perfectly working TV. They also gave us a 90 day warranty on their work at no extra charge. And the total cost to repair the TV was a little over $400 which was a bargain since it would have cost $2000 to replace the TV. They even helped us rehang the TV on our wall. We turned our TV on the other day and there was no picture. We could hear sound but we were looking at a black screen. This shop charged me $145 for a house call. Their "fix" didn't work, but they refused to come back unless I paid them an additional service charge. So I contacted my service provider (DirecTV). My 65" TV would not turn on after only three years. Called the manufacturer (Samsung), but since the warranty ran out they wanted $800 just to come and look at it and reminded me that parts would be extra. Next tried Geek Squad since we made the purchase at Best Buy. They agreed to come look at it for $99, but then said "it's not worth it, just buy a new one." Before they even arrived. We called around to find a local place, but got the same response to just buy a new one. Finally we called Dans and wow what a great experience. Our 2 1/2 year old OLED LG TV stopped working the day after we had a power outage for several hours. It worked the day after the power outage was resolved but conked out the next day. Hi Folks-only 3 reviews, well, I don't post many, but these folks were just here fixing a flat panel from back when they were decorative as well as great TV's. Instead of replacing the bad part for a few dollars more the entire board was put in, right before my eyes. Over twenty screws, removed, replaced, with the new board and voila-the TV is as good as new, I could not be more pleased! Brought my Westinghouse flatscreen in when the menu wouldn't stop scrolling. Was told it was an issue related to one of the circuit boards. Fixed it for $130. A little more than I wanted to pay and I didn't get a quote up front - instead paid $25 downpayment, which was applied to the total balance. Didn't get an update so I called in a week later. Arthur was very friendly but didn't give me much detail about what happened other than "eh, electronics." 90-day warranty.
