Samsung recommended Dan's TV so i called when my set started losing its picture. Arthur came, took the TV back to the shop and repaired it. Perfect picture. But slowly the TV started losing picture again, so Arthur came again right away and picked it up. Evidently the problem was with the power source, which was surging and damaging the new LEDs. So Dan's TV replaced the power source component at no cost to me except for the component itself. My TV was off Samsung warranty so the cost was covered by Dan's TV's own warranty, even though I believe that warranty had already expired. Very nice of them. So far, I'm good to go! read more

Wow, this was literally the fastest and best service I ever had on any appliance or home item ever. I have an older LG TV and the HDMI port recently came off in my hand. Yesterday (on a Sunday!) I googled "TV Repair" and Dan's TV came up. So I went online to their site and put in a request to have them contact me, thinking it would be at least Monday or later before I would hear back from anybody. Well, a "chat" person came on immediately as I made the online request and they made an appointment for 9am the morning of the very next day (today, Monday). Arthur came to my house right on time and he was wonderful. Told me some good facts about my older TV (it's true they don't make 'em like they used to) and also reconnected everything so I don't need to use that 3rd HDMI input any more after all. He also recommended a person for installing wall mounts and TVs when I move. He's my new "go to" - and he should be yours too. I had the unfortunate tragedy of my Samsung 4K UHD tv suddenly turn off on a rainy Sunday morning. After a less than pleasant experience dealing with Samsung directly I knew I would need a third party to assist in getting my less than three year old tv back in working order. Not only did Arthur come out the same day but he assured me he would take care of my needs as soon as the parts arrived from Samsung. Sure enough, he called me on Wednesday and gave me his word he would come out to Downtown Culver City and get me back on track. He arrived after 8pm and apologized for running behind his quote on time. Not only did I not care, I thanked him for keeping his word. He literally came the same day he said he would. After fifteen minutes of swapping out the part he had to order we were back on track. The price he quoted me on Sunday was right in line with the balance due. While I didn't particularly enjoy spending a third of the price of a new tv, this was still more efficient than buying that new tv. I highly recommend Dan's TV & Electronics for any and all tv needs. Petros P. I gotta say most tv repair shops wanted to charge $50 for a diagnosis of the problem and put that money toward the cost of repair, which they estimated at $200 to $250. Even worse, they wouldn't do the repair in my home! I would have had to transport my flat screen to their shop. Dan's was able to diagnose the problem over the phone and came to my apartment on time thevery next day. Total charge was $145 for the repair and it was done in less than an hour. There are no quotes, despite the "request a quote" option. You will not get a quote. He will tell you to just come in. Which I did. The open sign was there; the sign with the little clock hands that reads "be back in" said he would be back at 12:15. It was 2:30. The typed out letter taped on the door said he would not be back until 7:00pm. All three signs right next to each other. Overall very disrespectful and doesn't do quotes/estimates as advertised. I ignored the warning signs and now I regret it. I had a TEAC N300 turntable and the anti-skate was not working. The turntable had the problem from the moment I got it but I kept putting off getting it fixed as it still played records. I finally used Yelp to locate someone who could repair it. Arthur (owner) of Dan's TV replied and I took the turntable to him. My first warning sign came when he asked me if I "brought any vinyl". A bit odd for someone who allegedly repairs turntables. Nevertheless I journeyed to Fry's and bought the least expensive album they had. He also demanded $25 up front payment "in cash". That constituted warning sign #2 and #3. Warning sign #4 was my receipt.....a POST IT note!!!! After more than a week I called to find out if the turntable was repaired. He had said it would be three days and HE would call. When I reached him he said there was "nothing wrong with your vinyl player and the anti-skate other than it is missing the needle". He called the turntable a "vinyl player"! He said I could pick it up but that he did not keep the business hours posted on the store door. He told me to call before coming to the store. In fact, as I learned, some days he answers the phone and some days he doesn't . When he does his hours are incredibly erratic. One day I called at 9:30 (the posted hours say he is there at 9. He told me he wouldn't be there until 1:30. I stated: "So if I come at 1:30 you will be there?" He then said I should call at 1:30 to double check and then come at 2!!!! As to his claim of a missing needle it is preposterous as I used the turntable the day before I took it to Arthur and even moved the needle guard to protect it. So, I was finally able to retrieve the turntable today, a month later. The needle is indeed missing from the cartridge and it is clear he doesn't even know what the anti-skate does. He also did NOT offer to return my $25. I have never dealt with a less professional individual. He should have simply said he doesn't repair turntables. Instead he took $25 from me and further damaged my turntable. read more

Wow! If I could give these guys 10 stars I would. My 82 inch QLED Samsung lost a picture in the morning . We were very upset because tomorrow is a Super Bowl! I called Samsung and was referred to Dan's. I called them and asked them to make a house call immediately. A tech showed up in an hour. Very nice guy by the name of Arthur troubleshooted the TV, found the bad board and replaced it. I paid $217.38 for the repair and was the happiest person in the world. Amazing service! Came in with a retro Atari computer monitor that needed repair. Everywhere I called (including so called retro computer repair places) told me they wouldn't touch it and I should just recycle it. Called Dan's TV expecting to get turned away like everywhere else but I was pleasantly surprised to hear him say he'd take a look at it. Not only did he restore my collectible Atari monitor to perfect shape, but also surprised me with how reasonable he charged me for the repair.
