(Typical of me) P R I C E Thankfully Yelp has the request a quote feature and I looked at around 15 different businesses in the Studio City/Noho/Downtown area and asked for quotes. APPLANDROID definitely had the lowest estimate of $50, compared to the $70-$120 estimates I got from other businesses. On Yelp, they were also one of the most responsive businesses!! ALEX is the MAN! T I M E The fix was estimated 40 min. at first, but then he came back and altered that estimate to one hour because I have an iPhone 8. The repair only ended up to be 45 min. after all! I ain't mad. I ended up talking to Alex for another 10/15 min afterwards. He's awesome! L O C A T I O N / S H O P Arriving at the shop (on Van Nuys Blvd.), I found that there is only street parking. I quickly found a meter on a side street for $1/hour (which is fine because the repair takes only an hour). The shop itself is very simple and minimal, which is fine! I was the only customer at the time (I came around 10:45am on a Friday). I decided to wait for my repair instead of leaving and coming back...the shop has a comfy couch with a TV (channel is set to Tru TV), as well as outlets. I'm sure they have WiFi as well, but I didn't ask because I was doing work that didn't require internet. Overall I'm thoroughly impressed. Will definitely come here again if I crack my phone. Wore a mask and adhered to safety measures which are especially important during these times. Took less than 15 minutes, and my screen is perfect. Charged 150 total for a screen install for iphone 8S plus, all said and done. Expect to pay more if you want it done on the spot after the storefront closes. That was alright...but my screen is now also pretty glitchy. Like overly sensitive, selects words randomly and jumps to spots that aren'r touched. Kinda a bummer that for 150 the screen is not fully functioning. Not sure if that's a common thing or not. read more

Literally the best place to get your screen fixed in the valley. Other places charge you more than twice what they're charging! I walked in, gave the man my phone, and it was as simple as that! Very quick--I was told a two-hour wait, but it really only ended up being just over an hour. I almost paid $205 to another place, but I would've been phone-less for two weeks!
