My stylist is from NYC and asked me specific questions about what kind of highlights I wanted, where I wanted them and whether I normally opted for toner. Still waiting to see the outcome. Slightly awkwardly waiting in the reception area while she juggles another client. Slightly disappointed at the lack of mindless magazines - No Self, Seventeen, Vogue or Glamour. Fortunately, there was Harpers Bazaar so I could catch up on Paris Hilton's latest. I did the face framing height lights - 8 foils but I think she gave me a few extra. Saved around $60 by skipping toner and a blow dry. Asked for thick highlights, and they looked a bit skinned but the stylist showed me how they were actually thick. She was right. She didn't show me my hair automatically at the end. I had to ask, but I did like what I saw.

My appointment was 6:45 PM with London. I loved the setup of the salon as each stylist rents out a space. Each space had four walls and two chairs (essentially its own room). Plus each stylist and customers wore face coverings. There was only one other customer in the salon during my appointment, in another room, which made me feel more comfortable. Now to the services. London washed, cut and styled my hair for $42. Wow! I thought this was an awesome price;) I really enjoyed the shampoo and rinse as it was very relaxing. The haircut turned out fabulous! He straightened my hair and touched it up with a flat iron. He made it seem so easy. It takes me forever when I do it and my arms get tired LOL. I would absolutely recommend London for all of your hair care needs. He is a 30 minute drive from my house and I will happily take the journey for the awesome results!

The only thing I didn't know is not to wash my hair and arrive with it wet for an updo. you should arrive with clean, dry hair. Kendall shared it takes more time as now it had to be dried .. I offered to just do the blowout, but she was very sweet and OK with sticking to the updo plan. Both of our hairs receive lots of compliments at the wedding that night.
