First got an estimate and agreed to it in March of this year, emailed back and forth until June. They kept saying that I was on the schedule but never came. Although the job took longer than expected for things out of their control, Dante's team was diligent and spent the time to make our fence and yard beautiful. Dante was communicative about the status of the project throughout and they did an amazing job. We had an existing front and back fence but no side fences. Dante's team helped us get exactly what we wanted, a modern looking private backyard and an iron fence on the side of the front yard that matched the front fencing already in place. All of this work was welded and painted by hand. When they left everything was clean and nice. They were also able to do some additional work welding a new mailbox to the front gate and repainting out front stoop which is all metal and was rusting a bit from the salt this past winter. The day of the estimate, Dante communicated that he was running behind. Totally understandable, we rescheduled for a later time. I had a sump pump issue that was causing my sump pump to run all of the one and flooding my yard. I met with Dante and he provided me with several options on how to resolve my issue. After discussing at length Dante actually suggested the cheapest option as it would resolve my issue as well as the far more expensive options. I chose Dante to work on our front and back yard based glowing Yelp reviews. He's very pleasant when you see him in person. But it is not easy to communicate with him. He's often late in responding to emails/phones/texts. I have to send at least a couple of communications for everything, only hear back from him days later. It is very frustrating when you are trying to communicate every step of the way - getting estimates, making appointments, picking materials/plants. A promised overnight estimate comes weeks later after I've pressed several times. A promised visit gets delayed hours or days. Being flaky is not a good business model. Even though I really enjoyed chatting with him and he's knowledgeable about things, I would not recommend because it will cause you serious frustration and delay in progress. read more

We have 2 old, huge pine trees in our front yard and a lot of dead branches needed to be removed. I had gotten a bid from Dante this past spring and I emailed him for the job, referencing the original proposal. After returning a signed contract to him, he was able to schedule us in about 3 weeks. He came out today and did a great job, trimming everything, going back and trimming a little bit more when I asked him to. The trees look so good now - something I've never said since I moved in 9 years ago! Afterwards he cleaned up everything, raking and using a blower to make everything was perfect. Never even gave us a quote. Messaged back and forth pretty well for about 3-4 days and then nothing. Not even a "we're swamped, it might take me a week to get back to you." Nothing. I tried contacted 2-3 more times, giving plenty of days between and still nothing. So--great communication in the beginning and then the owner completely ghosted us. Disappointed, for sure.
