We had them install hot water faucet access in the backyard for kids pools, and rapid? hot water access in other areas of the house. I purchased their plan after being told that it would cover a cleaning of the exterior part of my ductless heat pump next year. Imagine my surprise when I called to schedule service, including my free exterior unit cleaning, and was told that the reason I'd been making payments for over a year, isn't covered. Their contract also states that if your dissatisfied, they'll make it like it never happened. We'll, I'm really unsatisfied, but they will only refund two months of my payments out of fourteen. Dapper Plumbing came to our home in July 2025 after we discovered condensation in our AHU that caused the circuit board to fail. Their technician confirmed what we already suspected, and we were told the replacement part was back ordered until September 2025. After signing a contract, Dapper stopped communicating entirely. There were no updates, no follow-up, and no accountability. By October 2025 after months of silence, we cancelled the service and requested a refund. It is now December 2025, and despite repeated calls and constant reassurances that the refund is "being processed," nothing has been returned to us. At this point, their lack of communication, failure to honor the agreement, and ongoing delays have left us no choice but to involve legal counsel to recover the money we are owed. While their "contract" states 30% nonrefundable, I cannot accept that their failure to perform, bad faith, unjust enrichment, and potential breach of contract would be an excuse to have them keep the money that's rightfully ours. This experience has shown a clear disregard for customers, and we would strongly caution others before working with this company. read more

Scheduled service for between 12-2PM today. Took time off work to ensure I'd be here. At 3PM (1 hour after the scheduled window). I call to ask to see if there were any updates and they said they would call the person scheduled to come out and they should call me. At 4:48PM I get a text notification that they are on their way (see attached screenshot). 10 minutes later I receive a quote for the job. $750 to literally uncap the gas line that's outside and attach the grill's line. (I called them because I do not like messing with gas/electricity). Absolutely ridiculous. No communication about being late, missed half a day of work, and finally at 5:30PM I called and told them to cancel as I'm just fed up at this point. Not dependable. Paid for yearly service inspection. Made appointments 3 times. All three times .they did not show.had excuses everyone. We took off time so we would be home. Time will never get back. They where paid in advance .so have the feeling that they already got there money. So they ripped us off. Do not recommend them for anything. These clowns came out 2.5 hours after the scheduled window to give me an estimate on replacing my kitchen sink, faucet and disposal. They told me it would be $2,500! This has got to be the most unprofessional company I have seen in my 62 years. Paid them 12,000 to install a heat pump, they played bait and switch on us , we paid for the newest technology, they installed a different older unit. They left us with no ac most of the summer saying they were waiting for samsung assistance because they didn't know how to fix it. They demanded that we accept the wrong unit and I was the one who figured out why it was not working. I had to research to prove to them they didn't even know the rules of their jobs for temperatures from the thermostat. If you call this company it is at your own risk. Very sad service. read more

One of the worst companies I have ever delt with. I had a hot water tank replaced, I had nothing but issues with the new tank from the time the installation was complete. After the issues I did some research on the company and found the following- 1) did not have a pluming license. 2) did not have insurance 3) did not get a permit to install the new tank.....required by city of Arlington. 4) the person they had install my new tank was not even a licensed plumber. My fault for not checking them out ahead of time, I tried to support a local business. I won't make that mistake again. read more

Our Rheem gas-fired water heater went on the blink on Tuesday. The Emerson water heater controller was showing an error code that ignition was being prevented due to the flammable vapor sensor. We don't store paint or gasoline or other flammable substances in the garage and there was no smell of a gas leak. I called around and discovered that many plumbers/water heater repair shops don't work on Rheem gas-fired water heaters and many others don't answer the phone. I eventually found Mainstream plumbing (360-588-2226 and mainstreamplumbingwa.com) and spoke with Corey. He walked me through some troubleshooting steps and even sent me a YouTube video on how to reboot the controller and clear the error code. When that did not work, we knew it was a hardware fault. Corey and his team found the part at a Marysville plumbing supply house and came by yesterday evening to install a new vapor sensor. Fortunately, that solved the problem and we have hot water again for the reasonable price of $ 265. In addition to water heater installation, repair and replacement, Mainstream also does all the other plumbing jobs from repair to remodeling to new construction. They are currently working on a 70 house new development in Sedro Woolley. If we ever have plumbing issues that I cannot fix, I will be calling Mainstream, and I recommend them. read more

Our fault for not getting estimate but they were the first available. addendum Apparently my earlier comment had an error.  After questioning my husband he did get an estimate which he signed thinking that was the going rate for plumbers.  But he is 71 and trusting.  Upon looking up plumbing costs in our area I find that Dapper Plumbing charged over twice the going rate.  I see there is a review from another senior who had an even greater charge.  I would think a reputable company would give senior discounts, not unfair charging. read more

Highly recommend Dapper Plumbing! Our well house pressure tank was spewing water at 6pm so we had to disconnect the power causing us to lose water to the house and shop. We called Dapper at 6:30pm, scheduled an appointment for 7am the next morning, water was back on by 8am and charged a minimal fee (I wanted to pay more). You can't beat a response time like that. James was super knowledgeable about the system and pleasant to interact with. We have had our share of negative experiences with plumbers so this was a refreshing change. They said they would be here between 8am and10am, and he was here by 8:15. Got right to work. Found the problem in 5 minutes and got it repaired in 20 minutes. Cleaned up and we paid a reasonable price and he offered a year maintenance plan which we went with. Will recommend them to everyone. read more

People need to know this especially the elderly. I am a 70 yo widow. My toilet blocked and I went online to find a plumber. DAPPER PLUMBING responded. They came over and fixed the problem which took about one hour. They charged me $1001.00 -yes, one thousand dollars. I did not realize that I signed for this amount. When I did realize I though Oh my goodness and called them. I believed they would do the right thing and ensure I would get a refund and charge me a reasonable amount. I spoke to one of the owner who, as an owner, could make this happen. The best they said they would do was give me $100 refund. He said they charge per the service and not per hour. I know that legally I cannot do anything. I am more than upset and feel that I have been abused and taken advantage of. And my savings are down $1000. What a lesson!! So I just wanted to be sure that the elderly who often make choices based on trust, are aware that there are people out there who cannot be trusted and will take you for a ride and then make excuses so they can sleep at night. We have had an absolutely horrible experience with Dapper Plumbing and Electric. We remodeled two bathrooms and they provided both the plumbing and electric portions. They were extremely messy. They trashed our carpets and refused to put down any type of track paper. They are telling me that I need to get three separate quotes for carpet cleaning to clean up their mess before they will even consider reimbursement. They over charged us for work that they did not perform. They charged us to replace sink drain pipes that they did not do. Their communication Is horrible. They make you use this text system, which several people seem to manage. You sometimes get an immediate response. Other times it takes several days. We signed up for their preferred maintenance program. The benefits were very confusing. One person said that you dont get 10% discount on new installations while the owner says you do. They also promise with this program priority service. Does making you wait four weeks sound like priority service? I gave this group multiple opportunities to make things right. The owner is rude and extremely dismissive. Beware of doing business with them. They are very unprofessional and overcharge. They are not worth the headache and hassle especially since there are better options to go with. read more
