I spoke with two electricians who were either mystified by the situation or gave me bad abduct. Will came up with a plan to use the power supply from the intercom system for the transformer. He also installed a chime box and custom built a wood plate for the camera (the electricians told me that I would have to do that on my own and would just install the camera hanging by its wires). We'd hired a plumbing company before Drain Doctors to perform the same service that Shaun did, at the same price, only that company could not remove our blockage, could not map our drainage and could not get their camera in the angles of our pipes. Because the cable is floating in mid-air rather than being fastened flush to the studs, it is impossible to install drywall over it.
