We've been here twice and both times have been happy. My son's barber left the shop that he was going to and we needed to find a shop in a pinch. Dappers had an opening and they were able to squeeze him in. This first time my son saw Marco and this last time my son saw Orlando. They both do great work and my son feels really comfortable here. This is a GREAT barbershop with awesome barbers who know what they are doing and really know how to take care of there clients! They all know what they are doing and have really great, friendly personality's. The atmosphere is great and are also very professional! Alright, so I walk in on a Tuesday around 4, good looking clean shop, 2 guys cuttin away on the left w 2 clients, a guy sittin on a bench waiting, and another guy hangin out in one of the barber chairs watchin sportscenter... one of the guys cuttin hair asks me if i'm lookin for a haircut, -yes, he asks the other guys if he has time and then says, want to make an appointment for tomorrow? I say eh, i'll try another barbershop, he says, hold on, go's out towards the front and asks the guy sittin in the chair if he is open, Cruz (I think that was his name" said "yea sure".... Ok so now I'm a little worried, I don't mind that he was hangin watchin sportscenter, I get that and can appreciate it, but why didnt the other 2 guys tell me to ask him? ... so at this point I'm a little worried, cruz asks me what I want and proceeds with the clippers (1 on the sides, fade it up high, trim a little on top)... he points me to the tv bc I said I'm a sports fan, its sportscenter, and starts buzzin away. Its quiet for a while, minimal talk about thanksgiving (minimal talk is ok with me, I'm here for a haircut, not chit chat)... sometimes he stops for a few minutes, I can't see the mirror because I'm facing the big TV, i glance around and he is texting on hos phone I think, really not a big deal to me, but i'm worried because I can't see in the mirror... To make this short and sum it up, I kept feelin my hair w my hands like "oh F, is it too short, too high a fade... yadda yadda". Then we get on to some good banter about eli manning being benched and the whole shop is chiming in, its awesome, it feels like what I always thought a barbershop would be... these guys are super cool, all the customers are super cool, their cell phones are ringin off the hook for appointments... so I'm feelin a hell of a lot better seeing my hair flying off but not lookin in a mirror. Cruz finishes up brushes off the hair and all, turns me around to look in the mirror... BAM!!! FANTASTIC! PERFECT! I will always call and ask for Cruz! So glad I didn't leave and find somewhere else when they asked me to come back the next day. For $21 it was great, i usually go to supercuts ans 15 minutes ur out the door, these guys seem more like 1/2 hour guys, and the $21 was worth it for attention to detial, quality, and the banter and talk, it was great Side note: guys working here, please communicate a little better, I want to give 4 stars just because I almost left with knowing Cruz was available, but after the cut and friendliness of Cruz I have to give 5 stars. Talented crew with an awesome atmosphere... Everyone here is skilled, however my fiancé gets his cuts done by Jasso whom always leaves his hair looking sharp and clean. Shop is located right across from G&G market and from my experience here, never has long wait times unlike other local shops. They have large flat screen tv's for entertainment and provide an array of services in a quick and timely manner. I've recommended all friends, fam and folks I've meet. Literally the worst haircut I've ever gotten. I normally go to another place, but in a pinch I went to dappers. Its near my home. I went in with my hair combed the way I comb it, and told them I just needed a cleanup. I taper the back, and part it, then sweep the top. Not uncommon. The kid who took me started in with the clippers and never stopped. Gave me some style that I don't even know what to do with. I can handle if a barber cuts me in a way that is different than what I asked for, if it is executed well, but this isn't even well done. The back is uneven. There are missed spots where he used clippers. He was rough and hurried. And now I just look like a hairy football. I won't be going back under any circumstances. read more

My son called and made appointments for 2 people, himself and my husband, a week ahead and when they showed for their appointments, they were told they didn't have any appointments down for them. My husband was so pissed because we had a special occasion we had to go to and now had to search quickly for someone to cut his hair. Needless to say, we'll never go there again. read more

Tried coming here and giving these guys a chance at least three times. They should advertise this place as Appointments only, everytime I came in around 3:45p and each time, I sat down, no one greets me, usually only one or two other guys waiting for a cut. 4 out of 5 barbers with a customer. Waited 20 minutes before anyone says anything. One of the barbers finally ask me who I'm waiting for, I say whoever can take me. That's when they tell me they're booked for the day and If I can come back in tomorrow. No, I need a cut that day , not the next day. Mind you, one of the barbers didn't have anybody in his chair the entire time I was there. Poorly run barbershop and terrible customer service. Go to West coast cuts down the street, not the greatest barbers but they always greet you and take walk-ins up to 7pm read more

They just reopened this week! Jose cut my hair today and did an excellent job. They make sure to wipe down all surfaces and door handles, and do temperature checks before entering, which all made me feel comfortable. The atmosphere was great.
