Crispy chicken oriental salad

I love this place! Food is so good and reasonable! Jen and Jay are the best and they cater too!

Gotta have the twins... ;)

It's easy to miss--at the confluence of Sprague Ave's one-way-from-two-way street driving--and being at the corner of a derelict mall area who's best days were in the 70s/80s. But... If you're over 40 looking for a place to enjoy a relaxed dining experience (couples/friends/solo), you might want to find this joint. Very, very not hipster, although I truly believe anyone would be comfortable here. Wifey and I enjoyed sitting at the bar, with the banter between us patrons and our amazing bartender/hostess/server, Jen. In a blue-state purgatory, where no one wants to go to work anymore, Jen's a beacon of hope in my eyes. Food was fine! They don't try to pretend to be anything they are not, i.e., farm-to-table blah blah, or 'gastro.' They sling good grub, and the prices are astounding for our current time. Lots of TVs with sports and such, but not loud and obtrusive. Over 21, only. After a string of mundane experiences for me dining out, Darcy's came to the rescue. It was greatly appreciated...

This place has been around for quite a while and I have never been here, I would say it was an okay experience. We came for a family birthday and had a group with us. The servers took forever to get our drinks and it was almost an hour into waiting (we were waiting for other people for about 20 minutes. The drinks were good, the appetizers were okay. I thought oysters were really over fried and super fishy, but my father in law thought they were great. The clams were good, with a butter sauce that was pretty good. My husbands steak was raw and we sent it back after a bite was taken out of it as well as cut in half....they did just throw it back on the grill after it had been contaminated by mouths and knives and stuff, that was a little interesting but there was no food waste, so insert *shrug* here. The sliders were dry, my son barely touched his and there were no sauces which just doesn't do it for me. The fries were unseasoned and we didn't really eat them. The steak my husband had was good and he said the caesar was one of his very favorite salads he has ever had. Other than that, it was an okay experience.

The service during the Zags game was on point. The $6 potato skins were awesome! Another great evening at Darcy's.

Great burgers, good service and the beer was tasty. Would have like a better beer selection, but we were both pleased.

There are plenty of TVs all throughout so you are not missing a thing. Service was absolutely phenomenal. I believe my server's name is Stephen and he was super cool., gave really good recommendations was friendly and funny The food was literally fantastic. Five stars five gold stars all the way around! The next time in Spokane, I will definitely be going back here.

I got the Pint Burger, and honestly, I was a little disappointed. For a place that's known for burgers, I was surprised they use frozen patties. They also don't ask how you want it cooked, and I thought it was a little bland for the price. The sweet potato fries were really good though, especially dipped in BBQ sauce like our server recommended. My husband got the chicken quesadilla, and he said it was really good. It came with a different kind of sour cream that he really liked. We'd probably come back, but next time I'd order something different instead of the burger.

Couple friends and I decided to give this restaurant a try. The restaurant is clean, slightly…read moredated, with MeTV showing on the small TVs in the dining area. Our server was very busy, handling both the bar and restaurant areas. We all started with appetizers, which we shared. Fried green beans were good, kind of spendy. The onion rings were great and the tarter they came with was nice. The mozzarella sticks were good, the marinara was cold and chunky. For meals, two of us went with their Irish Stew, salad, and absolutely delicious cornbread. Our other friend tried their Burnt End sandwich. She said it was really good. What I really wanted was BBQ turkey, which is on their online menu but not on the menu in the restaurant. It was a good experience and we'll definitely give them another try in the future.

The Mad Cow Reviewer…read more Well, color me udderly impressed! I wandered into McKracken's Irish Pub in Spokane Valley after a long day chewing cud and was greeted with the warmest "moo" of hospitality I've felt in ages. The owner clearly knows how to make everyone--two-legged or four-hooved--feel right at home. Let's start with the Guinness--cold, creamy, and poured with care. It's enough to make a bull tear up with joy (and that's saying something). The Irish stew? Hearty, rich, and packed with flavor. The cornbread is the real surprise--soft, slightly sweet, and perfect for soaking up the last bits of stew. Whoever's in that kitchen deserves a medal--or at least a salt lick of appreciation. They've got WiFi, so you can update your herd on your dining adventures, and the regulars add to that cozy, small-town pub vibe. Karaoke on Fridays is a real treat too--nothing like hearing a few pints in patrons belt out "Don't Stop Believin'" while I hum along in low, soulful moos. All in all, McKracken's is the kind of place that makes you want to settle in, loosen your bell, and stay awhile. Great food, cold beer, friendly faces--what more could a mad cow ask for? -- The Mad Cow Reviewer
