Had an amazing experience here, I've had my belly button pierced 4 times now and although most people would just give up on having the piercing I was determined to get it done one last time. He said it was a little harder since I had so much scar tissue but the pain was completely bearable. The shop was super clean, they sterilize everything right in front of you and let you pick out the jewelry you want. I was prepared to spend $60 cause that's what I was quoted at a bunch of other shops, but here they only charged $20!!! The piercer marked where the piercing would go and let us approve it before he started. Everything about the experience was awesome I recommend this shop to anyone looking for good work and a beyond reasonable price. read more

I forgot my piercers name , but I walked in 2 hours before closing and got my conch pierced. The Piercer was friendly patient and sterile. I saw him open everything new and fresh and got to pick out my jewelry, which is an internally threaded labret. I also saw him put it in an autoclave. The price was very reasonable and I'll definitely go back. I deducted a star because I had went to the shop previously (before I got my conch) and got my tongue pierced . I had a different piercer and everything was sterile, but he did not ask if I liked the placement or let me see. I had no trouble with healing, just would've liked my tongue piercing placed more forward. Love this shop tho , will continue being a customer :) read more

I use to go to this place all of the time when my tattoo artist was at this location, he moved studios and my business went with him. There is a piercer here who is disrespectful, and creepy. Every time i came in he always found and excuse to touch me (not inappropriately). But it did make me very uncomfortable. I did speak to my artist about this and he tried to make the situation calmer. Never worked. I started coming in on days I knew he would not be there. He was a grade A A** always saying rude shit to me and my friends. Made every tattoo session very uncomfortable. read more

They're very nice, chill guys. Their prices are reasonable. And they truly care about their customers. I was having a panic attack during a tattoo and they helped me out. Been here a few times and the guys that work here always make you feel welcomed and make sure you are comfortable. Guy ( cant remember his name but he was awesome) who did my nose ring was very professional and fast! He gave me after care instructions and I'm so happy with it. It healed up nice. Once I'm brave enough I will go back to do my tongue. Maybe haha. My husband and I also get our tattoos done here by Brandon. He has great vision and a light hand. We explained what we wanted and showed a few reference pictures and within a few min he was ready to go. Tattoos had so much detail and were just exquisite. We have gotten so many compliments. Brandon definitely takes his TIME to make sure you are happy with the finished product. Photos do not do his work justice. Going back for a cover up soon. Highly recommend this shop. My husband and i love Darkside. Not only is the place decked out in starwars theme (note the name of the tattoo shop) but the guys are super chill & know what they're doing. Jeff did my chest dermal 2 years ago and it was professionally done healed beautiful. Brandon does our tattoos and we loveeeeee the way they came out! My friends and I called to get our tongues pierced and we told them what time we'd be coming. Everything was fine until we got there, the man I assume the owner, said oh the piercer already left. We drove about 45 mins in terrible winds to get there and the guy was a total jerk. He cussed at me on the phone said "fu*k you" hung up on me when I simply asked if there was anything else he could do for us or if the piercer would be back or if another shop and NOTHING! Such a jerk and I wouldn't refer this place to anyone! Thankfully we found somewhere else with a much nicer and better piercer. Since i am not able to respond back to your response i will write on this but you were not standing right their so how can you know for sure ? & yes i did do my review over because i left alot of my opinion and experience out. Also if he did do it in front of me that means i woulda seen him open it right ? I just stated i didnt see with my own eyes when or if he did open a new case which means he did not do it in front of me or didnt alert me for my attention which for future reference you should do everything while the customer is alerted and looking or seated down ! I have every right to be concerned whether a peircer i payed... To know if he used a new unopen needle and did everything right since this is a place where people bleed, im very cautious . Dont make paying customers feel like they cant speak up about whats being done to their body ! Also As soon as i sat down he wss piercing me im not new to piercings and every piercer i been to has Waited until i was seated down to open things up to where i never had to question or think wait did that person open up a new needle , he also didnt make a mark on where he wss going to be sticking the needle in , neither was he informative to me on what to expect straight out the chair , idc how long anyones been piercing ! Protocol is protocol and he didnt do alot of things. Also no one knows how much any piercing hurts so that statement you made dosent make sense . But like i said it hurt like hell ! Which was my experience , i wouldnt get it again if it fell out . And yes i called back and asked him if you guys always use new needles each time and that i was bleeding because i never bled with any of my tattoos or piercings so i was concernd and i had questions which he shoulda went over what to expect before i walked out his chair so i could know & i didnt hear him ask me if i wanted after care . He would have got a yes or no if he did which i never gave a response to because he didnt ask me so that is another red flag . Neither did i get a paper of instructions after like the other girls before me did . If i wasnt so shook about gettin the peircing i would have spoken up at the time or paid attention in more depth. If things were done right i wouldnt have to waste my time writing a review . just walked out of here. came in with my two sisters, we each got ear piercings. a tragus, forward helix, and lobes. tim was our piercer. he was friendly, courteous, and answered all of our questions and reassured us of any worries that we had. overall it was a great experience and we definitely will be back to see him again for any future piercings. read more

The only reason I'm giving them a 3 star is because it's so ugly in there they have old dirty couches the art on the wall is bad is not comfortable at all.
