My visit lasted approximately five minutes, and I was told the issue was TMJ -- which was completely unrelated to the reason I was there. There was minimal examination and no meaningful discussion of the actual concern that prompted my referral. The following day, I sought a second opinion from another oral surgeon, who was surprised that my condition had not been properly evaluated or treated. The difference in thoroughness and concern between the two appointments was significant. I then attempted to resolve the billing issue directly with the office. For nearly two months, I repeatedly reached out to billing and was told the person in charge was on leave. After finally getting in contact with her, she was extremely rude and stated the charges were non-negotiable, insisting that Dr. Golding did everything "appropriately." When I explained my concerns and the circumstances, I was told I would be sent to collections -- which ultimately happened. I was sent to collections for over $750 for this brief consultation that did not adequately address the medical concern I was referred for. Being sent to collections under these circumstances is incredibly disappointing and stressful. Patients deserve to feel heard, thoroughly evaluated, and treated with professionalism -- both medically and administratively. I cannot recommend this office based on my experience.

The way everyone cared for us like we were family will not be forgotten. Dr. Nelson was vigilant and caring, what more could you ask for in a surgeon?! The assistants were so professional and engaged, Stellar had a great time with them. His wife Allison was a Godsend to a mother. To see your child sedated can be emotional but her gentle nature and kind words put me at ease. Thank you to the entire staff at AOMS.

That doctor had extracted a tooth, put in a bone graph and placed a membrane due to a small perforation in my sinus cavity. With that other doctor, I was scheduled for one follow up visit but the intense pain I was experiencing necessitated 4 return visits within 2 weeks. I felt strongly that I had developed an infection from the procedure and requested an antibiotic. She refused, claiming there was no infection. She took no tests or CT scan to rule out an infection. Instead she was rude, dismissive and acted like I was making up the level of pain I was experiencing. After a month of her completely inappropriate behavior as my pain increased, I went to Dr. Nelson (referred by my dentist) to get a second opinion. Dr. Nelson saw me immediately and took a 3D scan which evidenced that my whole left sinus cavity was filled with infection. The smell of sulfur was overwhelming, the pain in my head and face was at a level 8-9 at all times. Dr. Nelson put me on an antibiotic and performed surgery 2 days later to check for contamination in the bone graft and clear the infection. Immediately following his procedure I was so pleased!! I had no more sulfur smell and the pain I had been dealing with for weeks had dissipated only leaving minor sensitivity from the new surgery. Reluctantly, I had to give Dr Nelson a call on a Saturday at 4pm because I was feeling a burning sensation in my mouth, which I believed was due to the strong antibiotic. He answered his phone right away, he was so kind and compassionate and he called me in a prescription to help with my burning mouth that had nothing to do with the surgery. He was so communicative that one pharmacy was closed and he took the time to call me and ask which other pharmacy I preferred. My mouth settled down immediately. On Monday, I called his office to see if I could move my followup appointment to be seen by him sooner than Wednesday. I spoke to his office staff and even though he wasn't in until Wednesday, his office staff were so pleasant and helpful. Literally a minute after hanging up with his office, Dr Nelson called me right back. He was with his family driving to Joshua tree and couldn't have been more kind, compassionate and I told him there was no problem and i would see him on Wednesday. In closing, I just finished both of my followups with Dr Nelson today. His staff is wonderful and caring. I'll be seeing him again in June to finish the work started by the other surgeon. I am hopeful that I dont need any more dental work done as far as implants, however if I do, Dr. Nelson will be the first and only doctor I would call. I couldn't recommend him more highly, a true professional and gentleman. Thank you so much Dr. Nelson! Penny

I cannot say enough incredible things about Healing Dentistry, Dr. Marija, and her entire team…read more For years, I was told by multiple orthodontists that the only way to straighten my teeth was to extract all of my premolars. After hearing that over and over again, I honestly gave up. I thought I would just have to accept my smile the way it was because removing healthy teeth didn't feel right to me. Then I found Dr. Marija. From the very first consultation, she approached my case differently. She didn't see a problem to "reduce" but she saw potential to restore and expand. Through her innovative Invisalign treatment plan, she was able to straighten my teeth without removing healthy premolars, and the results have completely transformed not just my smile, but my confidence. What makes Dr. Marija truly exceptional is that she doesn't just focus on aesthetics but she focuses on whole-health dentistry. Through Invisalign, she helped expand my arch, improve my jaw development, reduce grinding and clenching, and enhance my overall facial symmetry. My face literally looks more balanced and harmonious. I didn't realize how much my bite was affecting my facial structure and comfort until it was corrected. Straight teeth are healthy teeth and I feel the difference. My bite feels more stable, my jaw tension has improved, and my smile finally reflects how I feel inside. Dr. Marija is innovative, forward-thinking, and truly represents the future of dentistry. She blends science, aesthetics, and health in a way that feels personalized and empowering. And her staff? Absolutely amazing and kind, knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely invested in patient care. If you've ever been told "this is your only option" or felt discouraged about your smile, please go see Dr. Marija before giving up. Healing Dentistry lives up to its name in every way. Forever grateful.

For a tooth extraction, bone graft, and a silver filling exchange. It was a lot of "this is what your insurance covers, this is your copay " after procedures it was a lot of "actually your insurance did not cover it and this is what you owe" I took my business elsewhere after I kept paying for things that did not add up. The last time I receive dental services was 11/2024, Fast forwarded to April 2026 I get a call from healing dentistry in 2026 (17 MONTHS LATER) and a voice message saying I have a balance and if I don't pay in 2 weeks, it will go to collections. Healing dentistry has NOT sent me itemized bill or final notices via mail or email. One charge to my insurance was for cancer oral screening, which by the way should come standard during a cleaning, which my current dentist by the way does. My mental health and credit score is greater than $200. I do agree with previous review stating that this dentist office will submit claims to insurance knowing that it will be denied and patients will have to pay for it On my statements that was NOT covered by my insurance: Limited evaluations Test of mucosal abnormalities Periodic evaluation Gingival irrigation Drugs or medications dispensed in the office Diagnostics study models Desensitizing medications READ THE REVIEWS
