    Very informative.

This is going to be a lengthy review of my personal experience, with politics as additives. If you're allergic to political views sharing, please refrain from reading. If you're into comedy, yeeeeeesh - this might be a tough one for you to pass. But, it's ok, you can read it - I won't tell. Since this was a referral that I had received from a friend, I have decided to take that into consideration with the star review (which means I gave 2 extra stars - to put it blankly). I went in for an oil change. It's normally priced between $40 (for regular oil) to $60 (for synthetic), but I got a 5% (referral?) discount, so that brought the total to around $37 something. This really made me miss living in L.A., where my go to guy charged about $30 max for an oil change, but I digress. I had called beforehand to make sure that they were open, and upon arrival, it was somewhat clear that the shop is a little short-handed on staff -as I had to wait about 50 min to get service. My arrival time was around 7:40 a.m., my car wasn't serviced until 8:30 a.m. I took it graciously, because you know - that's how I roll - most of the time. Also, I was understanding of the fact that they were short-manned. I spoke to a gentleman that worked there to please check my lights. Apparently, when they pulled my car in, only the front part was checked. So they told me all were working. Yep, no one cared about my brake lights in the BACK - which is fine, I can change those myself anyways. So, moving on.. everything was ok until after payment, when we conversed about .. you guessed it, homelessness, crime and politics. Now, mind you - the time was already around 9:10 a.m. and I made prior appointments. However, as a nice Asian American, I have decided to exchange pleasantries that then turned into .. more like a hilarious, yet gasp inducing sitcom drama on a dark comedic overtone. I learned about this dude's political views on crime, obama phones (I did not even know there was such a thing, and have no idea why this is a bad thing? especially for at risk populations who do not have means of communication to even get a job?) and how he believes a no-tolerance is necessary for crime and punishment. Since I did not have the time to debate you then, I will present my well-thought out response of why our society needs to address and put emphasis on rehabilitation instead of mass incarceration and capital punishment on the internet, for all to see. You're welcome. Now a days, when education is more unattainable, people cannot put off short term needs for long term goals, hence - crime rate goes up. We can talk about the amygdala, the reptilian brain, yada yada yada, but it all boils down to needs being met at the most basic level. When school systems fail, individuals fall through the cracks, not knowing better, they turn to crimes in order to survive. Meanwhile, those who have a lineage of resources (read: nepotism) start facing more problems as more people are not taught the socially acceptable ways of doing things. Then, we put them into jails. Make them work. ruin their credit/history. Then they or others become homeless. Then that's where the issue stops. Because now, nobody cares. Why? Because first, no one is that much bothered by it, but also because it is inconvenient for you. However, it is not inconvenient for you to inconvenience others, imposing your views on other people such as myself. You complained about your high health insurance bills, which has nothing to do with anyone other than yourselves and the insurance company. If you were sick of paying high insurance rates, please look into something called HSA. This way, you don't have to pay for any imaginary premium that you believe others may impose on you. The insurance company has nothing to do with federal aid as they are not in the business of charity. You complained about phones - and having to pay for them. I'm at a loss because, I literally don't know the point of that complaint? I mean, you get what you paid for. The capabilities you can do on a next generation iPhone X or Samsung 9 is incomparable to whatever phone they're giving out, right? On my last note, I'd like to say that one of the things that I cannot stand is someone having the audacity to incriminate and launch personal attacks at others when they are losing a debate. Then he came up with... yep, you guessed it - a Confucius quote! As I quote him quote confucius "as I remember it correctly: Give a man fish and you feed him a day. Teach a man how to fish and he fishes for life. You need to learn how to fish." Buddy - first off - I have histamine allergy, I literally CANNOT eat fish (this is meant to be a comedic response, if you don't get it, god bless your heart). Second, please read Quora on the source of that quote, it is very trite and Third, I've just wasted a good 20 minutes writing this review- and now must bid my adieu.
