Absolute Legends! Nothing less to say. Called about 3:30pm on road trip after discovering my alternator failing. My journey was to pick up my grandfathers old el Camino, and tow it back home. So I needed my 4Runner in tip top shape. Called Firestone, they wouldn't do it last minute, called Pep Boys, put me on hold. Called a few more shops that didn't have the part, couldn't get it on time, an declined to install a customer purchased part (despite buying it from the same auto parts supply stores they use). Called Eye Street... they said, no problem! Encouraged us to grab the part, as it was near end of day and they were worried it wouldn't arrive on time if they ordered it. Showed up about 4pm and they were super positive, confirmed our problem was the alternator, took us in, and got to work. Amazing guys, we shared stories while we hung out and waited with our dog, and ultimately got the job done. Super appreciative of genuine people who are willing to go the extra mile. At the end of the day, I don't expect a business to stay late or be inconvenienced due to our plans. However I'm so grateful when you find those that understand your circumstance and want to help if they're able too! They also charged a very fair cost & rate. I've been using Eye Street Automotive for probably 30 years. I completely trusted Bob the old owner before his retirement. The new owner is the former mechanic that I've come to know and trust. I had a problem with my 2008 Ranger Pick up last week and it was running very rough and missing. I went by and Raul checked the computer (check engine light had come on) and said I had a mis-fire from the #3 cylinder. I dropped it off the next day for him to trouble shoot and fix. Mind you, I bout the truck 7 years ago with 100K miles and now it has 161K miles. I've never had it tuned up. They decided it needed a tune up (new plugs, plug wires and fuel filter). That cured the rough running problem perfectly! I figured while he's got the truck, lets go ahead and change the belt and hoses as they'd never been changed. Thankfully Raul did a close inspection and found the radiator leaking and the fan blade had minute cracks. He sent me an email with pictures of the problems. All in all they had the truck for 3 days and it runs like a champ now and I don't have to worry about the belt and hoses anymore. Thanks guys!! Excellent job!! read more

​ I took my vehicle in for a noise in the front end. I dropped it off at 8:00 in the morning and called to check on it at 3:00 p.m. I was told they were going to put it on a rack to inspect it. I never received a call back. I went to the shop the next morning and waited for over 30 minutes while the owner was test driving my truck. He returned and told me that the truck was too big for him to even work on it. He had no reason driving my truck for 30 minutes and then had an attitude when I questioned him about it. I have known Bob and have had my vehicles repaired by him for at least 12 years now. I would not bring my vehicles to any other mechanic in town because I know that Eye Street Automotive will always do the right thing and most important, I can trust what they say. This is no cut-rate shop that goes through mechanics like they do oil and tires. Bob's mechanics are all top-notch ASE certified, and most if not all have been with Bob for years. I've had maintenance, minor repairs, and a major repair done at Eye Street, and all of it was done right and correctly. The shop is busy, and I am sure that many of those folks are repeat customers. You might pay a little more than Pep Boys or Midas, or some other in-and-out place, but you know it will be done right the first time and you won't be up-sold a bunch of other repairs that aren't necessary. read more
