I'm in Boston for last few months ... Of course as a Muslim I always look for halal restaurant so 3 days ago I was looking a halal bengali cuisine restaurant for catering bengali food so recommended by one of my friend because she told me that's her Mama's restaurant ... so I ordered goat Rezala (Bengali style) from *Darul Kabab* which is located in Cambridge,MA Guess what I got Goat curry for $110(Half tray) .. I mean I can make more delicious and perfect by watching video on YouTube so I called them to let those people know about it .. And the guy was telling me sorry * I don't know what was that , I'm new over here so I just placed order to the chef * I don't know is that chef from from noahkhali or no otherwise he suppose to know there is different between goat curry and Goat rejala Thanks for wasting my money Good luck with your business

I am Bangladeshi American and my mom is a great cook so I am very picky with South Asian Cuisines. I haven't been able to visit my family due to COVID travel restrictions so I thought why not order food that reminds me of home? And boy it did not disappoint! The Kachi biriyani was melt in your mouth good. More oily than my mom makes but hey I was treating myself! The shik kebab and moglai paratha were also great. Most of the bad reviews of this place are people ordering soups/salads.... like bruh go to a regular cafe for that stuff. If you want great biriyani and kebabs then go to Darul!

If you are looking for awesome Indian food this place is for you. I eat a ton of Indian, and the food at Darul Kabab is definitely my favorite in the Boston area....well, for take-out anyway. Sure you can wine about the service not being perfect, but in some senses it is charming and they are certainly making progress. **4.5 Stars for the food **3.5 Stars for the service/atmosphere **5 Stars to counter-act June M's 1-star review that judges an INDIAN RESTAURANT for a FISH BURGER...what's up with that? I'm glad they have the burgers/pizza/etc on the menu so that your picky friends, or children, can eat something while you get better food.

DK is taste-TAY! I'm never disappointed when I come here. The food is good and the prices are about average for Indian fare. Afternoon buffet dishes are great and rotate during the week. It's the best time to come (IMO) bcz the restaurant is quiet but does a 180 for dinner and there's lots of hustle and bustle going on. The lunch buffet is daily until 3pm and features 11 dishes for $12.99. There is also a dinner buffet on Monday and Tuesdays which has 14 dishes. They've recently added fish curry to the buffet and it was a welcome addition. However, it's LOADED with bones so you need to eat it super cautiously. When you walk in, the open space is welcoming and the colors are vibrant. Can you smell it? The curry? The faint smell of garlic? Tandoori chicken in clay pots? The fresh naan. *my mouth is literally salivating at the moment* The massive flat screens are a bit distracting but after a few minutes you're able to tune them out. After you've settled in and ordered your water, make your way over to the serving stations (proud of yourself for choosing the buffet bcz you get to sample, almost, the entire menu) and 'plate-up'. Once you've made it back to your table you discover the server has brought fresh, hot, glistening naan over. Sit. Feast. It's been a long day and there's nothing like a tasty meal to make you forget about that annoying biker who ran the red light and clipped your side mirror. You have naan. Hot naan. And curry. All is right with the world.

We got take-out last night and everything was delicious. This is now our go-to place for Indian food. Waitstaff was really nice, too.

That being said, the place was packed after 7 so consider what time you're coming when trying to walk in without a reservation. The entrance is up the stairs and as soon as you walk through the door, you're greeted with a great view of Winthrop Park and the surrounding area. We were promptly seated and the lively wait staff came and took our drink order shortly thereafter. We started with the complimentary papadum and chutneys and our appetizer order of hara bhara kebab which was a nice vegetarian fritter. For our entrees, we got the baingan bhartan, chicken tikka masala (dairy free one), yellow daal tadka, tandoori roti, onion kulcha, and paneera bharura. The breads were all fantastic and I enjoyed the chicken tikka masala (dairy free made with coconut milk) just to see how it was different from a standard chicken tikka masala. For dessert, we got the gajar halwa (which was awesome!) and kulfi. Overall, I'm glad to have finally tried this place and may revisit it again in the future. Worth considering if you're in the area.

Our server was incredibly attentive and would always make sure to follow up and that everything is good. There was a plate that we had that had a stain on it. Our server noticed immediately and swapped out the plate without us having to tell him. He refilled our waters as soon as he saw that our glasses were empty. Compared to the first time that I was here, I think the service remains excellent and unchanged. The quality of the food was amazing. Overall, the dishes were delicious. I enjoy the blend of spices and flavors that you could taste within the food. In terms of food quality, this is easily becoming my favorite Indian restaurant in Boston. I appreciate the restaurant location and internal setup. The restaurant is nestled near Harvard Square on the second floor with a nice view to the local neighborhood around Cambridge. There were many tables by the window so customers could enjoy the ambience. Overall, would recommend. If I find myself returning to Boston, I will definitely make time to stop by again.

Every table seemed to be enjoying themselves but no noise issues as far as we could tell. The pakoras were fresh and the mango fish very tasty. Both chicken dishes were nicely done too. Indian is one of my favorites and this was a fairly short drive from our hotel in Waltham. We made a reservation but that did not seem to be at all necessary. It was a Monday night and it was not particularly busy. We were seated right away. They featured a very pleasant dining room and we were able to secure a table by the front window. This was a great spot and added to our experience. The service was very good. We were attended to quickly and well cared for throughout our time there. The food came out in a timely manner well presented at the appropriate temperature. My colleague opted for the Creamy Coconut Chicken. I tried a bite of this and was favorably impressed. In addition, he had a Mango Lassi to which he also gave a thumbs-up. I had the Fish Curry, which I ordered at a medium level in terms of spice. It was very tasty as it had just the right amount of kick. He ordered the Garlic Naan to accompany his meal while I had my favorite type of Indian bread (my favorite type of bread period, really) Peshwari Naan. We were both happy with these choices. I also had a glass of cabernet which turned out to be a decent choice. Our final bill that included food, drinks, tax and tip was $86. At $43 per person in this inflationary time, I was happy enough with the value given the quality of the fare and the overall experience. I would be happy to make a return visit.
